Can't believe people are still taking the fucking Tates seriously. Absolutely disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/26 03:26 AM

The fact that you cited a story from a man who was recently arrested for rape and human trafficking really invalidates your entire argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/26 03:22 AM

What in the misogyny did I just read...

I agree that we're both useful in different ways, but what on earth do you mean by more efficiently?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/26 01:08 AM
13

Both men and women did.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/26 12:51 AM
10

I mean a woman could defend herself also if she had "tools"
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/26 12:47 AM

That's not an argument though, you're just saying what you think would happen and your only justification is that women are selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/26 11:11 PM

People just be saying shit sometimes
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/26 04:08 PM

I'm personally not "disgusted by male sexuality" so I'm curious as to why you think most women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 07:37 PM
1

What aspects of male sexuality do you think we're disgusted by?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 07:33 PM
2

Ask women? I have no clue what you're talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 07:31 PM
1

No, I'm specifically referring to guys who only want sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/26 02:20 PM

That's because that isn't what this sub is for?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 07:04 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 03:34 AM

I guess?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 03:31 AM

I have. I think it's generally polite for the person who asked to pay, though not required.

Rights and wants are not the same thing my guy 😭🙏
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/26 03:11 AM

Cmon bro... even if they are universally attractive traits, I'm sure having the rest of those traits would make up for a lack of confidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/26 02:50 PM
1

Yeah, that would just suck a little bit though. I might not have kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/26 12:19 PM

Turn offs can be a personal issue, but they aren't always. Most icks are like having a mattress on the floor or being a picky eater.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:53 PM
1

Not entirely sure where you got that idea. Just because you don't particularly embody a characteristic doesn't mean you're the exact opposite of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:44 PM
4

Yeah like I said, I have friends in happy relationships that don't embody those characteristics. I've talked to people online and in person who have also observed this.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:34 PM
5

Oh dear lord. Yes I'm sure you know why I'm attracted to my boyfriend better than I do... give me a break. Obviously nerds can embody these characteristics, that's why I specified that most of my friends don't. Neither does my boyfriend (and I can assure you I know my him better than you do) I'm attracted to him because we have the same humor, have been able to practically finish each others sentences for as long as we've know each other, and have similar interests.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:25 PM
2

Most of the men I'm friends with, as well as my boyfriend, are sort of nerds and don't particularly embody the characteristics you listed. Several of them are in happy relationships. What worked for you and your partner doesn't necessarily work for everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:09 PM
7

Well my observations, as well as the observations of thousands of other humans say otherwise. You realize the social media is literally programmed to show you things that you agree with right? And the people tend to surround themselves with people they agree with in real life as well. People are biased, observations are not a basis for fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 05:00 PM
1

The evidence is overwhelming? What evidence? where? Your personal observations are not hard evidence. You can form an opinion based in your own observations, but they are not a basis for determining facts.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:47 PM
5

How is getting turned off my something a personal failing?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 04:26 PM
2

Well unfortunately a lot of red pilled men seem to be able to keep it under the surface until a few dates in.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/26 12:48 PM
4

Idk how common it is but more than once guys have said something along the lines of your post after I lay for myself. Maybe I'm just unlucky.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 07:56 PM
11

I mean sure. I usually pay for myself unless the guy offers first. But if someone was ever gave me this explanation for not paying it'd definitely be an ick.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 07:53 PM
6

Yeah that's not something I'd want but like I said I have no problem with someone asking about it respectfully.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 07:45 PM
10

I guess. But then you can't be surprised or upset when we're offended.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 07:35 PM
8

I don't really have an issue with friends just asking about it as long as they don't act like a dick when I turn them down, my issue is guys who really just want to pump and dump but pretend they actually want to be friends or something more.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 07:02 PM
11

I'd rather guys who just want casual sex be up front about it, because I do not want casual sex. Or at the very least, when I make it clear I'm not interested in casual sex, it'd be nice of them to fuck off rather than sticking around and pretending to feel the same way and hoping I change my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 06:41 PM

I haven't noticed that myself. I think it's definitely a bit contradictory, but still not the same as men acting like they know what all women want. Like one individual woman isn't going to know what all women want, but she'd have a better idea than most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 01:27 PM
5

But my personal experience says otherwise... so whose personal experience is correct?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:59 PM
7

I'm all for getting as much as possible out of life, until it comes to using children for your own gain. Having one life isn't an excuse to just use others as stepping stones for your goals. They all have one life as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:57 PM
5

If you weren't actually going to respond to the question you should've just replied to the automod...
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:56 PM
7

I think if the only reason you have kids is because it's "necessary to achieve your goals" you should not be having children.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:54 PM
4

No I mean empathy. It seems that you have no ability to understand how others feel even when it's literally been spelled out for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:51 PM
9

I'm curious as well, but I remember seeing a post like this a while back in [r/askreddit](r/askreddit) or someplace similar, and most of the men said something along the lines of how they don't know because they couldn't possibly comprehend being attracted to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:09 PM
2

I actually can't comprehend how that can be your takeaway from reading that. The lack of empathy is astonishing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 12:03 PM
4

Men's lack of self awareness and basic sense of agency is exasperating.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:48 AM

This is another example of something that people are turning into a gendered issue when it's just... not
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:42 AM
8

I dunno I see it a lot the other way around too, people will say men only cheat because their sexual nerds weren't being met, and that women who cheat are just whores. I think it's pretty equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:41 AM
31

It's more that I'm disappointed when it turns out that's it's all they actually wanted when they pretended otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:34 AM
10

If you think that's overwrought your reading comprehension might just be bad
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:32 AM
25

Do you not understand how sexual comparability works? Have you heard of this cool new concept called middle ground? Have you read Goldilocks?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/26 04:31 AM
5

You do realize there are other reasons someone can feel trapped in a marriage, why is that your first assumption?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/26 03:44 AM
1

Ik you don't want advice but omg leave him
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/26 03:40 AM
-4

Because men also make more on average?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 06:10 AM
1

Oh yeah probably. I think the combination of having social media from a young age and lockdown happening during our formative years definitely did a number on us.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 12:10 AM
1

Yeah? I think it's more because I'm autistic tho.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/26 12:01 AM
1

I said that because it's something I've personally been working on. You said to assume that our personalities were similar, so I gave him advice that I would give to myself. You have to let the other person talk, that's how conversations work.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:56 PM
1

What? I said be mindful not don't talk about yourself at all. Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:45 PM
1

Ig id say he should be mindful of how much he talks about himself and his own interests and remember to ask the girl questions about herself.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:41 PM
1

Does he have a personality or...?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:36 PM
4

Idk that would depend on who the son is. General dating advice is hard to give when you don't know the person you're giving it to.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:28 PM

The point is that being ridiculously ripped is for the male gaze
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/26 11:19 PM

Believe it or not, ugly guys can be shitty people too.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/26 01:17 PM

I've never heard of that before. If I saw a guy wearing pants on a hot day I'd think he's a bit strange. I do competitive swimming and have since I was very young so speedos don't bother me either.

Whataboutism
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 04:55 AM
1

Yeah, you learn words from other people using them. That doesn't mean words don't have meaning. And no one is using the word entitled the way op is using it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 04:16 AM
1

That doesn't mean you can just say that a word means whatever the hell you want it to.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 03:01 AM
1

I'm done with this. Words have objective meaning, otherwise nothing would mean anything and communication would be completely impossible. If you're using the word entitled to specifically refer to someone who acts on their belief they are owed something, and not someone who believes they are owed something you are wrong. That is the wrong way to use that word.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 02:18 AM
10

What the fuck are you talking about???
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 01:52 AM
1

Well the "normal" definition of the word in this instance agrees with the dictionary definition anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/26 12:11 AM
1

Well op said he was using the "normal definition" which I would assume refers to the dictionary definition. And at a certain point you can just use a word incorrectly.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 11:52 PM
1

Even if they aren't, the colloquial usage for entitlement is still referring to the feeling of being owed, not the actions that result from that feeling.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/26 07:52 PM
3

Merriam-Webster disagrees with you <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 08:32 PM

People keep trying to come up with explanations for this but it's really just homophobia. That's the reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 02:32 PM
13

Good for you, but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of college dropouts aren't making $100k. And you do realize women have a higher likelihood of being sexually harassed in male dominated fields like skilled trades than in college right?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 03:37 AM
11

Some things, like going to the college you want, are worth taking risks for. And people will move to wherever they get a job offer because, idk if you know this, but the job market is absolute shit right now.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 03:25 AM

That's just a shitty thing to do, plus I'm friends with his girlfriend.

Women getting more rights does not take rights away from men. Men and woman both face completely different challenges in western society. Equality doesn't mean that women aren't discriminated against, it means that men and women are discriminated against equally. (Which you cannot say with certainty to be true, since issues that affect men and women are not directly comparable) Modern feminist issues include women generally being expected to do the majority of childcare and household labor, repr…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 07:08 AM
2

I think you're acting as if all men think exactly like you, which I'm fairly certain they don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 05:34 AM
2

I will say the loud minority is messing things up for the rest of us. If feminism means what people say it means, shouldn't the ideas like those Bell Hooks be encouraged, rather than being dismissed since they aren't representative of every single feminist?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 05:14 AM
2

I guess him being someone else doesn't necessarily mean he's over me... but like, what's more likely, he's still deeply in love with someone he had a casual crush on in Highschool, and is in a serious relationship with someone else while still pining for that person, or that he's really just over it?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 05:00 AM
6

Since feminism is defined as the belief that men and women should have equal rights, I would not consider people prejudiced against men to be real feminists.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 04:38 AM
8

Similar thing happened to me but the other way around. I think you can definitely stay friends once you're over the person.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 03:10 AM
0

I don't know, I think there's a difference between platonic and romantic feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 03:08 AM
1

I dunno, I had a friend ask me out once pretty soon after we met. He just found me attractive and funny but wasn't deeply in love with me or anything. This was two years ago and he's now one of my closest friends. And he's obviously over me because he's seeing someone else. I think you're right in a circumstance where the guy has really serious feelings, but if it's just a casual crush there's really no reason you can't stay friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 03:06 AM

I'd say it's possible that women just as coercive in other areas, but that's a whole other topic. The survey is specifically about coercion in relation to sex. Would it be interesting to see a study about coercion tactics in relation to something else? Sure, but that wouldn't be a direct comparison.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 02:17 AM

I seriously doubt that, since women can very easily get sex without coercion. Though I would've liked to see a comparison. I feel like we don't get enough information from just surveying men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/26 01:54 AM
1

Most feminists believe women should be drafted or appose the draft entirely
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 04:45 PM
2

It doesn't. I was specifically pointing out the part in the post where op stated we had reached equality, and also that men are second class citizens. How can both be true at the same time?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 12:19 AM
2

It's interesting... men created the draft themselves. Seems like the systems men create based on patriarchal ideals are only an issue to you when they negatively affect men. There hasn't been a draft of over fifty years, so how on earth does this one thing make men second class citizens, especially since men are the ones who instituted it?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/26 12:17 AM
1

A fact that you have no basis for other than "trust me bro"
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:18 PM
1

Now you're insulting me because your argument is bs lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:13 PM
1

I am one bro
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:10 PM
1

Okay well I'm a professional dater too and I say you're wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:07 PM
1

I can't take you seriously man. "As a professional" did you go to dating school to become a professional dater?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:05 PM
1

Well i guess if sex is your goal and you're having a lot of it then maybe you're successful... Still don't know why that means I should believe what I a man says I want over what I know I want.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:03 PM
1

What type of logic are you living in? Am I supposed to believe you know what you're talking about just because you said you're a professional dater? If you are a "professional dater" you must go on a lot of dates... which probably means they don't usually go anywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 07:00 PM
0

Let me rephrase. If you're a self proclaimed "professional" in dating, you must not be very good at it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:58 PM
1

If you're a professional in dating it must mean you're not very good at it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:56 PM
17

"When you're accustomed to privilege equality feels like oppression" "With gender rights reaching a peak and equality. Men have borderline become second class citizens" exemplifies this idea perfectly.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:49 PM
0

What?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:41 PM
2

I mean I don't. What makes you think we do?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:22 PM
1

Do we?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:19 PM
0

Idk I only date guys who can match my whimsy. You sound like a robot.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:13 PM

It's not a privilege though. It's no better or worse than getting a 9-5.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 02:35 PM
1

So you meant it'd hurt my dating life? That was a very odd way of phrasing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 01:32 PM
1

Alright fine, I'm more curious about what you meant by "inhibiting my pair bonding"
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:33 AM

I meant that it's what you seem to be suggesting. And what do you mean it'll "inhibit my pair bonding abilities?"
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:18 AM

So we should assume all men have bad intentions? Understood.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 08:14 AM
3

Right, because obviously the fact that you've never heard of it means it doesn't happen
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 06:25 AM
1

I don't know if being wealthy is attractive necessarily. I think women go for men who have lots of money and status because they also want money and status, (which... doesn't everyone?) and finding a man who already has that is the easiest way of getting it as a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:47 AM
3

Just because women are most fertile at in their early twenties doesn't mean creeps don't say they're most fertile at sixteen. Which they absolutely do.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:43 AM
1

I have to say this really depends on the guy. Imo most men start to lose attractiveness around 35-40. Though occasionally there are guys who gain attractiveness past then. But you could really say the same for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:40 AM
2

I just find it questionable, because when one person is much more mature/experienced in a relationship, it creates a potentially exploitable power dynamic, which results in higher rates of abuse.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/26 04:35 AM
3

No they aren't examples in the literal sense
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 04:35 PM
14

If it's so obvious why not just give an example?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 04:33 PM
17

What in the false analogy
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 04:25 PM
16

Why'd he post it on a debate subreddit and flair it as a debate then 😭
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 04:22 PM
2

I think you're projecting
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/26 11:07 PM
1

Ehh maybe, but I don't like when men assume they know what I like better than I do, so I won't do the same to them. It would be kinda hypocritical of me.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/26 11:02 PM
5

Every man wants a harem???
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/26 11:01 PM
1

If you have the ability to harm those around you, it's your responsibility to not do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 06:07 PM
2

No I mean people. Men are stronger on average. I'm stronger than my partner, and while I'd obviously never harm him, I should be expected to show more restraint. Anyone who is the stronger person in a situation (which will be the man more often than not) should hold themselves to the same standard.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 05:47 PM
2

People who have the ability to cause more harm should show more restraint. "With great power comes great responsibility"
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 05:41 PM
6

Is it not worse to hit your partner when you know it will seriously injure them, versus hitting your partner when you know it won't? Not that either are acceptable, but it's a different situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 05:30 PM
9

This depends entirely on context
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 04:41 PM

Idk where you're finding all these women who can't perform basic life skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 05:24 AM

If they don't want to they don't want to. I don't get why you're so pressed. So many men on this sub really need to start believing women when they say what will make them happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/26 04:58 AM
12

Often I guess. You could've inferred that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:32 AM
8

I've made the first move in every relationship I've had.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:29 AM
6

I'd say I think about men quite frequently.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 04:24 AM

I'd say it's around 40
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/26 02:05 AM

Didn't realize 35 was the threshold for being old lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 09:14 PM

Didn't realize 35 was the threshold for being old lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 09:14 PM
2

I agree the example is flawed, but I see the point they're trying to make. If you didn't scan some other item that isn't a necessity, the intent is sort of the same but the severity of the actions are not. Maybe a better example is that the sentence for murder is often longer than that of attempted murder. Same intent, different crimes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 02:17 PM
2

If the woman is the larger and stronger person in the relationship then yeah, it'd obviously be worse. It's not about gender, it's about who causes the most harm. It just tends to be men more often than not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 02:05 PM
2

Uh... he asked? Like he directly asked.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 03:48 PM
2

It hasn't and it's not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 11:05 AM
5

In theory yeah. In practice it just hasn't worked out that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:59 AM
1

I mean I disagree
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:59 AM
1

What I mean is that I'm a bit pissed that op made that generalization, because otherwise this post could have been a much more productive conversation. Obviously not all violent crime is carried out by men, but that doesn't mean it's not fair for women to take precautions.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:58 AM

No, I just think it's been proven that social conditioning based on gender does not affect how logical a person is.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:49 AM
6

I'm sorry they just don't. I'd be hard pressed to find a man who embodies two of the three traits I pointed out. And like I said, there is no gender difference in how logical a person is, whether it's due to conditioning or otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:45 AM
-2

Yeah... what?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:36 AM
3

Right, because being a well adjusted person is "masculine"
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:23 AM
9

Do they? Sure lots of men take initiative in dating, but I know very few men who accept responsibility, are emotionally resilient, and good at communication. I also think that it's been widely disproven that gender has any impact on how logical a person is.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:21 AM
7

Just my daily reminder that misogyny is alive and well.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 10:13 AM
2

I mean fair enough, I agree with you in that case.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 02:30 AM
2

Obviously I agree with that, I just find it frustrating that so many men in these comments are being completely dismissive of the larger issue OP is talking about because she made a generalization in the title.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 02:29 AM
-2

I don't necessarily agree with the title either, but you ignored the entire content of the post and said "well yeah but women do bad stuff too"
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 02:26 AM
2

It doesn't make it okay, but it's still a very different situation. In one scenario you might get a bruise, in the other it's potentially a trip to the hospital.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 02:24 AM
-6

Whataboutism at it's finest
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 02:22 AM
3

The cognitive dissonance is astounding. You're so close.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 02:19 AM
1

First of all, everything you just said is not synonymous with "being attracted to beauty" second of all, what world are you living in?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 10:11 PM
-4

Do we? Last I checked we weren't doing that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:38 AM
2

What's considered clean is not arbitrary. At a certain point it just becomes unsanitary. Just because you're okay living in an unsanitary space does not mean the woman should do most of the cleaning.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:26 AM
5

Yeah as someone who lives in a cold place, I absolutely would (and have because of brothers) get mice and bugs if I left food out. And not cleaning up spilled water ruins wood floors no matter where you live.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/26 03:23 AM
2

Not even remotely. Like to the point that I think they actually make me less aroused.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/26 12:31 AM
2

I'm sure some Red Pill supporters understand these concepts, but I highly doubt that the vast majority do. People don't necessarily need to understand these concepts to make correct observations and hold their own beliefs, but a thorough understanding of the opposing theory is necessary in the context of debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 01:56 AM
2

Not really. She got a few messages, but they mostly turned out to be creeps asking for nudes or trolls. Very few people actually looking to pursue anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 01:34 AM
2

This is not a uniquely male experience. My best friend used to be overweight and barely able to find dates. After she lost some weight she has no trouble with finding men/women at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 01:30 AM
3

What world are you living in? Average people date average all the time. Why do you think every woman has insane standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 01:07 AM
5

I feel bad for her then. I hope she realizes how lowly you think of women and runs far away.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 12:41 AM
9

Dear lord. I'm willing to bet you're more undesirable than the women you complain about.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/26 12:24 AM
18

If only men looked as good as they did a couple decades ago
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 07:27 PM
2

It's not that it's attractive, it's that money and security are nice things to have. I feel like men would be equally attracted to wealthy women if they didn't feel threatened and emasculated by them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 12:24 AM
1

Well is violence really the only thing men are good at? If it is I guess that's unfortunate, but there's not really a solution, unless you're proposing we dismantle civilized society.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:50 PM
2

Yeah I'm having a hard time thinking of something that looks like abuse but isn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:44 PM
2

Women also experience technology and not being able to go out unsupervised as children. Doesn't explain why men seem to be disproportionately lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:43 PM
2

Maybe that's because a woman's entire value is no longer dependent on her being a wife and mother.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:37 PM
7

Just because something's "natural" doesn't mean it's good.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:35 PM
1

I don't think we should base our behavior around ridiculously unlikely potential futures.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:34 PM
1

I guess we're in very different social circles, because based on what I've observed this doesn't happen all that often.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:32 PM
1

Is it though? I don't see how.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:31 PM
1

You can refuse to cry to a certain extent. It's like a sneeze, it's involuntary but you can hold it in. Obviously it's fine if you just naturally don't cry that much. But I do think it's a sign of weak masculinity when a man is clearly very upset/emotional or on the verge of tears but holds it in, even with someone he supposedly trusts. OP seems to think crying at all is a sign of weakness, and I disagree with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 05:29 PM
1

Repressing tears doesn't make you strong
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:47 PM
2

Yeah, and men with toxic masculinity are the weakest men of all.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:43 PM

The west is not like that. You'll see average women with average men all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:42 PM
2

Still not a reason that crying is an issue. Why is it worse than talking about feelings?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:38 PM
3

Yet another episode of "women don't know what they want, only I do"
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:34 PM
4

And you know this from all the frequent conversations you have with women?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:32 PM
3

For the record, not that it matters, I'm blonde, no tattoos, only ear piercings, and straight. Never dated anyone who plays DnD, though I'm also not sure what that has to do with anything. While obviously not every woman has the exact same taste as me, I'm fairly certain I know what we like better than you, based on the fact than I am one, and actually talk to other women regularly. Something I seriously doubt you do.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:29 PM
6

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:22 PM
5

Yeah I'm sure you have a much better idea of what women are attracted to than I do...
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:19 PM
11

I think men who refuse to cry because it's not "manly" are weak in the sense that they have extremely fragile masculinity, but maybe that's just me. Oh and please explain to me what my own gender is attracted to, clearly you know better.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:18 PM
4

Why is crying specifically so bad? It's a natural human reaction and repressing it can be unhealthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:12 PM
8

Being sad about being rejected doesn't necessarily mean you think you're owed something.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:10 PM
7

Well we aren't primitive hunter gatherers anymore. There is no benefit in modern society for men not to cry. You say men should be allowed to express emotion... but your entire post directly contradicts that sentiment. Yeah men should have the courage to get rejected, doesn't mean they can't cry about it after.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:07 PM
1

I can tell. I found you very confusing so I went through your comment history and found that you're either a troll or a dumbass. Like my god you clearly can't read either, let alone hold a productive conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 03:03 PM
1

I guess bro. I would say you're a misogynist from your "women can't read" comment, but it seems like you hate everyone equally.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:50 PM
1

Never in my life did I think be accused of that lol. I think there has to be a middle ground between being a pick me and making broad negative generalizations. Maybe most men are like this idk. (This sub is starting to convince me that might be true) Most of the men I associate with irl aren't but I guess everyone has different experiences. I don't think not believing all men want to be rapists is synonymous with validating them too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:37 PM
2

It does not
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:28 PM
0

Seriously? I mean that's what I thought at first but I was like no it must be sarcasm. I'm too autistic for ts man.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:21 PM
0

I didn't say you did?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:16 PM
0

It can be (and often is) used that way. I think what op is talking about is definitely a big issue and I don't mean to dismiss it, I just wish she wouldn't have used such a broad generalization, since it makes people less receptive to her argument. Also idk if you read the comment I was replying to before it got deleted, but I think the idea that men have an inherent need to rape women is also harmful and misogynistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:09 PM

Don't even get me started on that lol. "Let's give schools that are struggling less funding" Yeah. That'll fix it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:00 PM
1

Agreed
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 01:43 PM

Women are criticized for our bodies constantly. Men "retaliating" with criticizing yet another aspect of our bodies is just ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 11:01 AM
0

I agree. Though a shit ton of people is not necessarily a majority. Also the men on Reddit definitely aren't representative of all men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 02:38 AM
5

You're misrepresenting that video, she was very much justified to divorce that guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/26 01:08 AM
4

I have a hard time believing that raping their partners and viewing women as objects is something every man wants to do but is repressing. I think that's just you. (Or at least a select few people)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 11:21 PM
4

And you're assuming every other man views relationships the exact same way you do because...?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 11:13 PM
2

You included?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 11:06 PM
2

This is somehow misogynistic and misandrist at the same time.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 10:17 PM
3

This is the opposite of the solution bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 10:11 PM

I'd have to assume that female orgasms, or our sexual pleasure in general, are a biological incentive for us to reproduce. At least from an evolutionary standpoint. Why we didn't evolve to have orgasms from penetration alone is anyone's guess. Another example of women getting screwed by evolution lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 10:05 PM
1

Guys tend to be pretty oblivious in my experience, so if I'm pretty certain the interest is mutual I'll make the first move. But ideally I'd just want him to ask me out. I wouldn't want him to initiate something physically, but that might just be a personal preference.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 10:02 PM
18

I won't deny that there are a significant portion of men who are like this, but it's not all of them and it's probably not even most of them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 09:53 PM
23

I'd love to know if anyone figures it out lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 02:47 AM
1

I'd love to know if anyone figures it out lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/26 02:42 AM
2

I think he thinks that people will be more willing to help single fathers... which just isn't true.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 11:01 PM
1

That doesn't mean you can just present something as a fact when you have no way of knowing whether or not it actually happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:54 PM
2

You’re treating your own intuition as if it’s evidence. You can’t make a conclusion about human behavior just because it seems reasonable to you. If you’re making a claim about how people actually behave, you need actual evidence to show that it happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:40 PM
4

This makes zero sense. If both genders are equally as good at raising children then neither gender should get custody by default. Where are you getting the idea that men have more people in their lives willing to help them than women do?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 10:20 PM
1

I would like to add that autism presents in men and women very differently. Whether the cause is social or biological, it's hard to say. I'd wager it's a mix of both. I'd also like to say that overly strict parenting probably does more harm than anything else, but both extremes are definitely bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 08:17 PM
0

I don't really love how you set this up as if human beings have quantifiable value
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 08:13 PM
-2

Didn't know who this was so I watched some of his videos. He's just stupid. Like maybe the most stupid red pill influencer I've seen.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 07:04 AM

I will agree it goes both ways in some respects. However for the makeup thing specifically, majority of men do not know what light makeup looks like. I can't tell you how many guys I see online claiming they like no makeup, whole showing a picture of a woman who clearly has a full face. I'm not doubting that most men like the look that they think is no makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:20 PM

Google says there's no exact percentage. Again, where are you getting these numbers from? I scrolled pretty far and can't find any of them. Ohh okay Stanford report says 39% of couples met online. You still have no basis for saying that dating apps are known for hypergamy as if its a fact, or any statistics relating to hypergamy itself. And you pulled 40-45% out of your ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:50 PM

Where are you pulling that statistic from?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:43 PM

But it just isn't. Go outside.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:40 PM

I really don't think that's happening
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 01:38 PM
10

Not really, like I said, I'm not interested in men who don't like anything about me as a person.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:29 AM
10

Well it isn't, and that would be statistically improbable. But if it was, oh well. Finding a man is not my goal in life. My goal is to be happy, and living my life the way I want to will bring me more happiness than a man who doesn't actually like my true self would.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 05:24 AM
10

It's not that I don't want men to find me appealing, it's that I want wear clothes, do hobbies, have interests etc. that I actually enjoy. Why would I do something that I don't actually enjoy just to attract a man? I'm saying if a man is only attracted to me because I've changed myself in some way to appeal to him, I don't want him. I want to be with someone who likes the person I actually am.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:32 AM
11

No, because I don't want to be with someone who is only attracted to a fake version of myself that I curated for male attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:58 AM
16

I think gender and libido have less correlation than people would assume.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:56 AM
1

Probably
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:47 AM
17

This has to be some sort of world record for the most times someone says ping pong in a single Reddit post
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:26 AM
20

No, I don't base my behavior around some guy I haven't met yet. I don't even like casual sex, but if I did and he had a problem with me doing that before we even met, he's not the guy for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/26 04:01 AM
3

I would be more curious as to how they accomplished that honestly.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 06:34 PM
3

And you would know because of all the men you date right?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 06:34 PM

"You guys" it's legit one person
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 05:14 AM

Saying women don't experience empathy is a huge conclusion to jump to based on nothing but your own experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 05:14 AM

This is way off base, it's obviously not about money
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 05:04 AM
1

Based on his replies he definitely didn't
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 04:09 AM
1

Not sure how that contradicts or even relates to my point. But I also don't know if the amount of harm is directly proportional to the amount of time. I think it's something that should be determined on a case by case basis, and the length of the deception should absolutely be a factor. I just disagree with ops 25 year blanket statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 04:06 AM
0

Obviously they should go to prison, but there's evidence to suggest prison time doesn't actually disincentivize further crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 03:56 AM

Holy shit Incel Brain "A woman doesn't agree with me, it must be because women are inherently stupid and incapable of empathy"
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 03:14 AM

It usually doesn't.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 03:10 AM

Is it something you've personally experienced?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:59 AM
3

You can also choose not to date women
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:57 AM
3

I just said that
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:54 AM
1

I've already agreed with you, I just think 25 years is excessive.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:53 AM
1

You're proving my point!!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:52 AM
1

It does, and that's a reasonable argument. It's the only one you've made so far.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:49 AM

Putting a r*pist behind bars ensures he won't r*pe the victim again. And you know what she should go to jail but your reasoning sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:48 AM

How does he directly benefit from seeing her behind bars? That's revenge, not justice.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:44 AM

Why? Who does that benefit?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:42 AM

Your metric is emotional harm, which isn't measurable, and while it may be significant in individual cases, it should not influence policy.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:41 AM

I might be wrong, but it sort of seems like you or some you know has experienced this, and you're arguing is coming from a very personal place rather than a logical one.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:33 AM

While it may be an oversimplification paternity fraud is, at its core, lying. You cannot embezzle hundreds of thousands of dollars by clicking one button. Your comparison does not make any sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:29 AM

Yes many cases may factor emotional harm into sentencing, but my question is why that justifies a mandatory minimum of 25 years when comparable fraud offenses and many violent crimes carry significantly shorter sentences. What principle are you using to arrive at 25? I could argue stealing someone's livelihood could carry similar emotional weight.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:27 AM

Emotional distress is a civil case, not a crime.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:21 AM

No it absolutely is not
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:17 AM

Obviously she should, I'm not even arguing that she shouldn't go to prison for paternity fraud. My issue is your comparison to murder, which is obviously not on the same level as fraud, and the sentence length. Any other type of fraud of this scale has prison time for 1-20 years depending on a number of factors. Why is paternity fraud different? Or do you think all types of fraud should have longer sentences? Why 25 years specifically?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:15 AM

Why is it worse? Other types of fraud can mess up peoples lives equally as bad or often worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:08 AM

Yeah cuz murder and lying are the same crime... wtf
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 02:06 AM

I said not all women are attracted to power, I didn't say no women are attracted to power. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of women don't want to sleep with trump.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 02:11 AM
1

I think physical attraction is definitely still important in long term relationships, but I'd say emotional compatibility is more so. It needs to be a balance. My point is that emotional comparability isn't necessary at all for short term relationships, so you don't need to find a balance and can just go for the most attractive person.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/26 06:11 PM
0

First of all, that's barely even a coherent sentence. Second of all, if you want to push more healthy work life balance do it without distorting data or creating misleading narratives Who was talking about that?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 04:01 AM
1

I don't think not sleeping with people is done out of malice.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 03:55 AM

That wasn't the topic at hand tho. Like it sounded like you were replying to the wrong comment.

Dawg what are you yapping about?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 03:47 AM

you can't enter into a lifelong contact with the gender who acts like they will die without sex and die if their penis isn't inserted into a warm hole and not expect to be their sex doll of sorts Ew, fuck no. Absolutely not. What the fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 11:14 PM

Because women who have more life experience typically won't put up with their bullshit.

/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:51 PM

I think men shouldn't want women to be "obedient" period. It's disgusting.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:45 PM
13

Well I'm aware this sub isn't actually productive but arguing with people on the internet is my guilty pleasure. I don't think there are many people on here are so engrossed with it that it actually takes away from their life. And if they are, that's not an issue with the sub, it's an issue with the person.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 03:50 PM
1

I mean all of the most terrible and ugly guys I know have gfs/wives, so unless you're the worst person on the planet I'm sure that's not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 01:58 AM
1

And you know that because...?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 05:29 PM
5

Men are held accountable for their actions? Seriously? Do you know how many convicted rapists are out of prison? Or how many aren't even convicted in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 03:25 PM
2

So... i literally just gave you other solutions governments are actively utilizing, and you're ignoring them and have still decided that taking away women's rights is the inevitable path governments will take.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 03:08 PM
6

I feel like most of this sub is just straw mans. I have seen instances of this (specifically on this sub more than anywhere else) but idk how common it actually is.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:49 PM

/j i hope?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:44 PM
5

Yeah I've noticed at least two instances of it recently and it's pissing me off lol. Like this is not "autistic" behavior so don't call it that.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 03:43 PM

I mean probably, but it's a direct result of their terrible policies.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:25 PM

Where are you getting 1.4? The only global averages I could find were 2.2-2.3 children per woman. And the biggest flaw with your argument is that governments would inevitably resort to those specific measures, when we've already seen countries that are struggling with population decline, such as Japan, South Korea, Italy, Spain, etc. use a much more reasonable approach such as tax credits, subsidized childcare, longer parental leave, and housing assistance.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:23 PM

The one child policy was a terrible solution for many reasons, but it doesn't change the fact that China is overpopulated and definitely not going extinct.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:08 PM

I don't think not wanting marriage is a radical idea
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:03 PM

I really think that's a stretch... you realize that China had a one child policy for a long time because of overpopulation? They aren't going extinct any time soon. Declining birth rate is not as big of an issue as you think it is, people will always want kids. People are still having kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:00 PM

I do agree with your point... but using autistic as an adjective in the title sorta threw me off. Like you're implying that since we have a hard time reading social cues we're all hyper logical robotic weirdos who don't understand emotion or empathy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 11:54 AM

Well what's your solution? Force women to get married? Not as many women are getting married because there it's no longer something that is socially or financially required of them. And it shouldn't be. Also, just because someone says they'll never get married in their twenties doesn't mean they'll never change their mind. And you don't need to be married to find true love and spend your life with someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 11:46 AM

She might, yeah. But should she be obligated to? Should a pro athlete feel entitled to women going out of their comfort zones to please him?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:31 AM
7

I mean... the same could be said for men. People are much more willing to get into a noncommittal relationship with someone they find physically attracted, but are not emotionally or romantically compatible with. They are more likely to get into committed relationships with people that, while they may find less physically attractive, are more emotionally compatible.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:29 AM
1

It depends on how it's expressed. It can often come off as being really clingy or controlling. I dated this guy once who was very excited about the relationship, and would text me like 15 times within half an hour when I didn't respond. I thought he'd calm down eventually but he didn't. After a few months it just got annoying.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:25 AM
3

You gotta pay attention to how she treats people around her, especially people she isn't necessarily obligated to be nice to. This also works as just general advice for any relationship with any gender, whether it be romantic or platonic.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:19 AM
6

I mean I agree, but I think this isn't just women. I actively look for this sort of behavior in order to avoid it when dating men too.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:16 AM
12

Women who haven't actually had much experience with players or are looking for something casual may not avoid them, but women who actually want a stable relationship will absolutely avoid these men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:13 AM
17

Well in that case she shouldn't have felt obligated to perform then, and she certainly shouldn't feel that obligation in her current relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 01:09 AM
13

Saying that feminists believe women aren't giving birth because men harm them is a straw man in it of itself. Birth rates are declining in countries where there's less violence against women because women in those countries tend to have more rights, and when women have rights it means they can actually choose wether or not to have children.

I think nearly everyone who supports the orange rapist is a misogynist, but you'd be surprised how many misogynists don't. The guy I mentioned in another reply voted for Kamala, which really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. A lot of guys claim to be progressive but in reality are pieces of shit.

Who's gonna be writing articles on therapy if not experts in therapy? If someone writing the article didn't have a degree in psychology it wouldn't be a viable source either, by your definition there is no possible evidence that could be legitimate

Spoken like a man who's never been to therapy. It's not "talking about emotions for talkings sake" it's talking about emotions in order to understand them and come up with healthy ways to process them. Which, if anything, is something men need more than women. Also source? Because here's mine: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC3330641/

Well if a man is struggling with his mental health, "go to therapy" is sound advice. What else is she supposed to say? And I think people who try to one up someone who complains to them are annoying, but that isn't exclusive to women and not all women are like that. And with dating, yeah I know it sucks but no one does owe you anything. That's not a lack of sympathy that's just the truth. And women who have more sympathy for their sons than their daughters are misogynists and bad parents. And yo…

You don't just get to say I'm obtuse and incapable of arguing coherently because I called you out for using a term incorrectly. And I have addressed the crux of the argument. You're saying women feel "anti-agency" or "imposter syndrome" or whatever the hell you want to call it, and I'm saying no we don't. /r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:53 AM

My point was that I (and women in general) don't feel "anti-agency" and I was using your figure of speech to illustrate that, because that's what figures of speech are for. If you can't understand that you're an obtuse moron yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:46 AM

Saying "all [insert group of people] are x" is never a true statement because that's not how people work. I'm a woman, and whether or not you choose to believe me, I'm not attracted to power.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:29 AM
5

I think this is one of those things where you can't really say "most women do x" because it varies heavily from person to person. I personally get very shy and anxious around men I find attractive (even though I'm not generally a shy person) but a lot of women might be more forward. Not everything can be generalized. In fact, most things of this nature really cannot be generalized.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/26 12:15 AM

I think the issue, which does relate to your point, is homophobia. Even if a woman claims to be progressive, if she makes assumptions about someone's masculinity based on their sexuality, that's homophobia. What's an example of archeological or historical evidence that suggests males are more aggressive that could not possibly have been influenced by societal circumstances? Well voice drop is gradual, and there isn't a specific moment when it suddenly happens. Like I said, the nature of menstruation lends itself better to celebration. Also wet dreams aren't gendered, and not everyone gets them during their teen years or even at all. It's not a rite of passage.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:45 PM
1

That's just how people work. It's not just dating, whether you're trying to make friends or get a job etc. people will subconsciously present the best version of themselves to people they don't know. It takes time to get to know someone, that's just how it works. People aren't going to list all of their bad qualities on a first date, if they did that there would be no second dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:09 PM

Was i supposed to get a celebration? All I got was ruined bedsheets. And I'm pretty sure coming of age ceremonies are a common practice for both genders in most cultures. Celebrating menstruation specifically isn't really a common practice in the western world. I'm not sure how the fact that a few eastern cultures celebrate it shows the "deep rot within society," especially since there isn't really a male equivalent. Getting your period is seen as a rite of passage, and it's a specific, definabl…

It doesn't speak to what is, it speaks to what you believe. "What is" objective. Saying "it is ridiculous to..." does not speak to what is, because it is an opinion and therefore a subjective statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 03:01 AM

"It is ridiculous for men not to..." and "men should..." are the same fucking statement. You can't just say you're not speaking about what should be because you didn't use the word "should".
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:57 AM

Well if you want a technical answer, there isn't one. Women, on average, appear to have a lower sex drive than men. Whether this is from biological or societal reasons, who's to say?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:51 AM
3

Men should use any tools available to them, but there tools only include lack of support and not direct violence? You're going back on your own statements because you realized the implications of what you said are worse than what you intended.

Need and want should not be synonymous, and this is a very unhealthy mindset. Maybe it's less risky for men, but I've seen women put up with the most heinous shit from the devil himself because they thought they needed him.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:27 AM

So you sincerely think that it's ok to be violent towards women because they won't have sex with you? Because that's what this boils down to.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:23 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:16 AM
16

What kind of question is this? If I'm not attracted to someone I can't lust after them? And I have "lusted" after men who might be considered average, because contrary to popular belief attraction is subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 02:12 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/26 01:58 AM

I'm on this forum quite a bit as it's a guilty pleasure of mine, and I've never seen anyone say all you have to do to get laid is be nice. Could you maybe link a particular post with comments of this nature? And even if you're specifically talking about when our ideology is threatened, your point is still "some women lie when their ideology is threatened, so all women lie when their ideology is threatened" that doesn't make any more sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 12:54 AM

I've never heard of or seen a real feminist say that. Also, your point is literally "some women say things that aren't true, so all women are probably liars" what? The article is unrelated to my point as well. If women not knowing anything about what arouses them is your main takeaway from that article you didn't understand it at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 01:37 PM
0

So, women don't know what arouses them, but you do? The article you cited also seems to only further prove that female attraction/arousal is complicated and not well understood. Also, the fact that women don't know what arouses them is not the main conclusion of the article at all, and it seems relatively unrelated to your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 01:18 PM

The thing about attraction is that it's a highly complex topic, and anyone who claims to fully understand how it works is just taking a guess. Also, I find a lot of men assume female attraction works the same as male attraction. From what I can tell, it is much more emotional and less physical for us. And I'm not entirely sure of the point of your question, but if i didn't find a man physically attractive personally, I would be less attracted to him, I feel that's common sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/26 11:12 AM

Your first mistake was assuming something psychological is basic biology. The lizard brain concept is highly outdated and studies increasingly show that personality and humor increase perceived attraction. For women especially, an attractive personality adds to physical attraction. This is because there is are not separate parts of the brain responsible for physical and emotional attraction. Almost everything in the human brain is interconnected in one way or another, and to say physical attract…

I guess?

I see so many comments and posts with men claiming they know exactly how women think and how our attraction works. Maybe that's true for some women, but for me and many other women majority of the initial attraction comes from character.

I just find the cognitive dissonance between saying that you believe the main cause for women having more emotional baggage is female fragility rather than male behavior, yet citing a statistic saying women are much more likely to be a victim of sexual violence utterly fascinating. Also to address your main point men have emotional baggage too, they just shove it deep down inside and don't address it until it consumes them and they lash out at those around them.

Is that based on any statistical or evidence or is just "oo wife bad"

Well it's a stupid argument. "If x is bad y is also bad" yes both would be bad.

I'm not trying to pain Olympics anyone. I'm stating that factually, for me personally, I'm going to have a very poor quality of life as an old person. Dying, in my opinion, is better than living a shitty life in pain after I've already hopefully done everything I've wanted to do. What's the point of that?

Well people obviously might feel differently about this, but for me personally I'd rather die a bit sooner than live another decade being old and alone. Hell I already have chronic pain, quality of life when I'm old won't be great. And like I said originally, I agree there are benefits to being a woman, which I suppose can be phrased as "female privilege". I just mean that it's nowhere near comparable to male privilege.

I'm not saying we're victims, I'm just saying I believe the cost of living longer is greater than the benefit. And clearly you wanted to talk about biological privilege since you still can't come up with a societal one, so I brought up some examples that support my earlier point that the cost of being a woman outweighs the benefit. I didn't say cancel out, I said it's greater. Learn how to read, honey.

Ok fine, women are always the ones who end up mourning the men in their lives. Happy? Why are you so hung up on my every word? You're just arguing to argue. And you can't even come up with an actual societal and not biological privilege. You wanna talk about biological privilege? Don't even start. Do you bleed out of your private parts and experience pain comparable to heart attacks for a week straight every month? No. Do you have to spend nine months being carrying a child and endure excruciati…

Obviously I mean people who do get married, are you slow?

Yeah and we're always the ones who have to mourn our husbands. Again, cost outweighs benefit. Also that's not a societal construct that's just biology.

At this point it's much less prevalent than it's ever been because women have put in the work to make it that way. What the hell are you taking about? There's no magic pumpkin, people have put in the work for what they believe in, and progress might be slow but it's working.

So did you not understand the part where the way society has been for decades can't change overnight? Let's not even begin to pretend the patriarchy is what it was even fifty years ago.

Damn I'm a woman and I rarely get invited to parties and have zero fuck buddies. Am I missing something???

I guess? What's your point Vanessa?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 04:15 AM

Yeah so we actually all did agree en masse that the patriarchy was bad and we have actively made progress towards ending it, but the way society has functioned for hundreds of years actually can't be changed overnight.

Well it's not creepy if you approach a woman respectfully and go away if she's not interested. There is a difference in approaching someone respectfully and objectifying someone. Some people may argue the difference is looks, but at least from my experience if I don't find a man particularly attractive and he's respectful and goes away if I turn him down, I'd give him way more consideration than an attractive man who's being a creep and won't leave me alone.

Well why would someone demand a dna test in the first place? If my man didn't trust me to the point he asked for one the marriage is already over. Also women have feelings involved in everything? Are we for real? Humans have feelings involved in everything.

Yeah tell that to Asians. Also enlighten me on what constitutes as "female privilege". Is female privilege the fact that dating is easier for us? Because I gotta say i think the cost of being a woman outweighs the benefit. (Although I do agree there's benefits)
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 03:31 AM

Hey just a tip, you don't need to put true in parentheses after each statement. Believe it or not it doesn't actually prove anything other than that you believe it's true. Which people might have already assumed because you said the thing.

I agree, but it's such a case by case thing and sometimes people just don't belong together, and pretending they do is terrible for everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 10:40 PM

Wait mb forgot that was my username lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 10:57 AM

Man if you got enraged by this post I think you need help. Also did you call me nugget? What does that even mean????
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 10:42 AM

I can understand wanting someone with the same experience level as you, but I just it's hypocritical to be a guy who is experienced to have a problem with a woman having the same level of experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/26 10:36 AM

So you're aware that you're being hypocritical but you just don't care? If a woman has casual sex then that's wha she's for, and there's no possible way she could also enjoy a committed relationship, but if you have casual sex it's different? Why? Also I'm not sure how having casual sex necessarily means she's into guys out of her league.

I find it interesting that so many men are saying they embraced RP to help themselves be more popular with women. Out of curiosity does applying the ideology in your dating life actually help? I know I don't speak for all women but being RP or saying anything that aligns with that sort of thinking makes a man instantly much less attractive to me.

You know what impacts children worse than divorce? Parents who hate each other but stay married.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
