What's your game here, friend? Clearly you've got a hostile attitude towards this sub, which is fine, but what are you achieving by trolling for and responding to low-quality comments? Are you trying to improve your understanding of a nuanced issue or are you just trying to confirm your preconceptions?

Well that's the thing. Because of the writer's style and her clear attempts at sticking to the SJW narrative at the cost of facts and actual journalism, there's hardly any way to tell what actually happened, and the article might corrupt the actual investigation.

Here's the direct quote: "But payback for being so public on a campus accustomed to silence was swift. This past spring, in separate incidents, both Emily Renda and Jackie were harassed outside bars on the Corner by men who recognized them from presentations and called them "cunt" and "feminazi bitch." One flung a bottle at Jackie that broke on the side of her face, leaving a blood-red bruise around her eye." We're in agreement, If someone threw a bottle hard enough at your face to break it, you…

With regards to the sexual assault from two years ago, she went to a date party at this frat, the frat bros roofied her, and as part of their initiation, seven pledges had to gang-rape her. One of the assailants is quoted saying something along the lines of "we all had to do it." When she came-to, she ran out of the party, called her best friends to get them to come pick her up. Three people showed up, of which were two guys who were apparently considering joining frats the next semester. Upon s…

In this instance, I was referring to what allegedly happened this year. When the girl came out and told her story, a guy supposedly threw a bottle at her face. The bottle was thrown so hard it broke, and she was left with a massive welt. Regardless of the sexual assault charges from two years ago, which were never pressed since she didn't go to the hospital or the police, this is a clear assault; there is no grey area, you can and will win an assault case in which a guy broke a bottle on your fa…

Right, but you still have to report it to the police. The fact that there is no mention of any charges, civil of federal, makes me doubt the veracity of that specific incident.

TL;DR - The article revolves around the alleged gang-rape of a girl, Jackie, at a UVA frat party back in the fall of 2012. It then expands on other incidences of sexual assault at UVA and the failings of the administration to investigate and prevent them. The general thesis - sexual assault occurs more frequently at UVA and schools like it, because of their cultures and ineffectiveness of their administrations - might even be considered admirable. The context this statement is placed in, however…

Something really important the video sort of touched on with the shoes - build a wardrobe, not a series of outfits. You want to buy versatile clothes, especially at first, that can be interchanged within various outfits.

I think it's worth mentioning that it's important to differentiate between fads and cyclical trends. For instance, I reckon chubbies are a fad, whereas certain sunglasses are cyclical, like wayfarers or clubmasters. Then I course, there's always the timeless fedora.

Ehh, I don't really get the whole "only use texting for logistics" rule of thumb. I think it's definitely a useful consideration, especially for chronic over-texters, as I used to be. I got a lot better at "text game" by keeping things minimal, but then I noticed that some chicks really like texting, and you can keep banter going without coming off as too needy. Obviously it depends on the girl you're talking to, but I've found that just making absurd shit up about yourself really works as long …

Good stuff man. Happy to hear you've made so much progress with your self-confidence and approach anxiety, it's really heartening to hear these sorts of "it's never too late" stories. Though what's with the dog-tags, man? If you've earned them, or they hold sentimental value, ignore this, but you don't need to peacock like that. An alternative to peacocking that'll earn you more success, to me at least, is simply dressing well. If you can put together a wardrobe that fits your body and personali…

For several reasons: Generally, because it's a spray-on deodorant designed as a "body spray" rather than something to keep your pits from reeking. You shouldn't be able to smell someone's deodorant unless you get in really, really close - or at least that's how things are in my circles. Deodorants don't generally have the same complexity that a cologne which suits you does, either. Axe's deodorants tend to be overpowering, somewhat synthetic-smelling, and monochromatic in their scent. TL;DR - Yo…

It's not going to change your life, but it'll help. Also, knowing you smell nice is a good self-confidence booster, like knowing you're dressed well. For deodorant, make sure you don't get something too overpowering and stay far away from Axe. Old Spice Swagger is what I wear for reference.

I don't think I phrased that properly. What I meant is: do not buy cologne without trying it first, first-timers might buy online without trying, as I once did. Good point on the strength and duration for different people and colognes, and on taking advice.

Some tips for cologne novices: Whatever you do, DO NOT buy cologne online. There's a good chance the same brand might smell different on you than on other guys. Go to a store, do the sample stick thing, figure out your favorites, and spray them on your arm(s). Now WAIT. Over time the sub-notes come out and the scent evolves. Keep smelling your gorgeous self and choose your favorite at the end of the day. Don't overspray. Over time you get more accustomed to the scent, so you'll be tempted to spr…

I found myself getting better with women when I stopped seeing my failures as getting friend-zoned. The term puts the burden of blame on the girl, when really you didn't play your cards right. The trick is conveying interest, without going overboard of course. This doesn't mean you should stop being nice, or go hardcore alpha or whatever, just speak and act with conviction and don't be afraid of fucking up. It can really be as easy as saying what you'd normally say, but with a grin. Just flirt, …

As a classic overthinker, late-bloomer, recovering AFC, and fantastic kisser (or so I've been told), I feel like I'm in a pretty good position to expand on OP's tips: First, the approach - There's a lot of information about this on here already, but here are my two cents. You don't need a formula or a specific routine to get you to the point of no return. Build a rapport, make her smile and laugh, kino lightly by brushing her leg or her forearm; as you start to feel yourself getting more comfort…
