It's called anxious-avoidant attachment style, and it needs therapy. The seducer could, at most, be supportive during treatments and attend sessions. But the anxious-avoidant will need to be very active and/or proactive, otherwise their partner is getting stringed along.

We should probably clarify what "helps" means: "Helping" come up with stuff to say - no. No effect on imagination or eloquence. "Helping" by inhibiting something that prevents you to act, then yes. A cheap and easy way to deal with this is to chew gum. Seriously. I read somewhere it tricks your brain (the amygdala presumably) that if you're masticating, then you're in a safe place. The way it worked for me once I tried it for myself was that it almost completely eliminated the butterflies in my stomach. Doesn't help with coming up with words to say, it just eliminates one factor preventing you to do so, which I think is what you're after. A more expensive, but probably more powerful option…

I think your best bet would be to check out Matthew Hussey, a dating coach for women, or a community related to his work. I've only sporadically come across pieces of his seminars and feedback from his students/clients, but what little I've seen is the polar opposite of r/femaledatingadvice (i.e. non-toxic, and with common sense), and has good success rate.
