So let me get this straight - you expect us to believe that you, a 29 year old with a post tax income of ~180k, has a cool 900k chilling in their savings account that you’ve magically been hiding from your wife over the years? Let’s do the math here, you made it seem like you’re only making $150k, cool. That’s 114k post tax. So your actual post tax income (180k) minus the post tax income of what your wife though you made (114k). 180k - 114k = 66k So, again, you’re telling me that you’ve piled up…

It still sounds like your investing in individual stock. You said you’re invested in Boeing for example, that’s individual stock. You’re pulling all of that money on a single company. It’s extremely risky as you could lose all of it. Index funds, like VTSAX for example, is a single mutual fund made up of the top 5,000 companies in America. Buying shares of VTSAX is essentially getting you micro shares of the top 5000 companies in the US. I believe Boeing is one of them. If Boeing goes out of bus…

Investing in individual stocks is a terrible idea, as is Bitcoin or any other crypto currency. Low cost Index funds, such as VTSAX are the way to go.

Even if it’s from 401k rollovers, those balances are still dubiously high for a 25 year old. I don’t buy it, personally. Even if he’s been maxing his 401k since he was 20, the numbers still don’t add up.
