No, you can't be jailed in Canada simply for using incorrect pronouns. They're full of shit.

I think you mean Mattel or Filmation.

Well, this is kind of a different beast entirely. One actor was paid $1.5 million for reshoots, while the other wasn't told about about this negotiated fee and walked away with less than $1k for the same reshoots.

Don't interact with anyone, ever, at any point in your life. Problem solved.

It's not that they aren't interacting with other people or friends. The interaction is simply different and they're finding other things to do with their time, even when spending it with other people in the same space. One of the kids summed it up pretty well: People party because they're bored or want something to do...and there are plenty of things to do now within arms reach.

In short, the Internet is the culprit.

I get that this involves a long-distance relationship...but, I hate every single aspect about this little "contract". It's not cute or endearing; it's just controlling. "You're only allowed to do what you want to do when I permit it. Otherwise, your focus and attention must remain on me and me alone." I'd tell her to keep it and buy my own copy.

To be fair, I can't imagine it's all that pleasant to force an 8+lbs living being out of your nether regions.

There's no indication - from the obviously biased source, of course - that she was a "bad parent" in any meaningful way. She did her job, raised the kids and prepared them for the world as best as any parent could, it would seem. This doesn't mean she can't hate the fact that she had kids and resent the fact that she spent her "glory years" mothering two children. Hell, she had the second one because it's not really a great idea to have an only child; speaking as one, I kinda hate the fact that …

I dunno, I guarantee there are countless people who regret having children or feel like their life was spoiled because of them. Considering the fact that there are nearly 167,000 subscribers for /r/childfree, there are certainly a large number of people who don't really want anything to do with kids...regardless of gender. Feeling resentment toward one's kids isn't really all that weird, I don't think.

I can definitely relate to that, to a lesser degree. I absolutely loved the stankeyes and angry stares I got when walking around in public with a woman who had a black eye. She got it playing roller derby, mind you...but, the judgement was intense and palpable. I was automatically the person who gave it to her (in their eyes), simply because I'm a man.

It's pretty telling that the only instance where they're portrayed as being long-term happy together involves a world filled with violence and monsters, where it's kill-or-be-killed. There's plenty of malevolence involved with portrayal of Jerry as a sniveling worm, presenting himself in submission to anyone and anyone who speaks with any sort of authority. This was well before the current writing staff, mind you (which still features both Roiland and Harmon as the ultimately decision-makers...)…

No, it was pure happenstance. I just happened to be scrolling when I saw this thread pop up.

You might want to revist a few episodes...

They broke up a fictional family that was painfully dysfunctional, whose primary purpose was to serve as the butt of a joke that had been cracked for the better part of 21 episodes. Jerry and Beth would realize they're absolutely horrible for each other, don't particularly like each other and would end up on the brink of divorce...only to step back from the edge because of some revelatory moment that would ultimate get forgotten days later. Rinse and repeat over the course of two seasons. I mean…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
