"Look I got a bunch of stuff I am doing in my life. I am down to try but don't for a second think I am not going to push this physically/sexually. We'll either be in bed together after crazy sex tonight or I'll be not talking to you again tomorrow." I wouldn't say these things exactly I like this. Why not say it exactly? She's not your friend anymore, really. I guess the most important thing is that you actually act this way if you guys do 'date.' I am trying to come up with a very simple rule f…

Serious question: If you could do it over, what would you have done about her bitching at you in front of your buddy?

Someday when she's in between alphas she might come over to you in the gym and dangle a "real" date in front of you. What are you going to do then? You might want to plan out your exact response.

I don't think you are protecting your son by allowing him to be around her. It has to be fucking him up. On the other hand, I guess she'd get at least joint custody in a divorce.

OK I get your point. I brought your criticism on myself by saying I wanted to be lazy rather than just work smarter. Your biggest issue seems to be to help me be less lazy so I can succeed in life. I am touched. I still very much think we'd all benefit from someone trying to synthesize all this disparate knowledge. I am guessing someone has gotten to the stage in the process where they would like to do it.

I like to work both hard and smart. Right now I am busting my ass working, raising a kid, lifting, losing weight, and making friends. I am also trying to learn MRP and I think a good starter guide will be helpful for everyone. Regardless of whether it gets written I'm still going to put time into this until I get it right.

This has been the most helpful reply in this post. Thanks and I'm glad to see how much you've learned.

No. I've spent lots of time reading through posts and websites on TRP and I've gotten lots of insight from it. I use TRP ideas now all the time. I'd still like to see the relevant info from those materials without having to wade through each one. By the way, cliffs notes work awesome as a starting point for learning.

Prizes? Sounds more like a solicitation for cheap contract labor. Everyone gets to read them. Think of it as a massive "give gold." In fact if it makes you happy, I can just award 35 reddit golds instead.

Thanks for your input. I disagree. -You went to engineering school. Did you use textbooks? Or did you try to learn from and apply the source materials all the way through? Did you go back to Euclid when you had a math issue? Did you learn by reading the lab notes of scientists and engineers? A textbook is a way of summarizing others' materials into a more structured format that's easier to read and easier to reference. It is like a guide. Which is what I'm looking for, though a textbook is too m…

Why was "Mate me" bad? Kind of mocking her and making a crude sexual innuendo. Sounds fine.

Where to?

One of the techniques a woman will employ in order to bend you to her will is to ask you to do things you were already doing. For outsiders, it looks like you are following orders. Like the frog in the hot water, she will attempt to incrementally increase the pressure of her will until you jump when she whispers hop. This is gold. I think it's what's going on. Now I have to resist shouting "you're not the boss of me!" when she asks for a banana when I'm walking to the kitchen.

If she makes a reasonable request but is less than reasonable with her tone - "can you get me a glass of water?" - then just correct her before you do it - "say please!" Good stuff. Maybe asking her to say please enough times will reduce the enjoyment from making multiple requests. Finally, don't ever trade anything for sex. It's a trap that a lot of guys fall into (society seems to expect such quid pro quo). Just don't do it. Lol, this came out of nowhere. I can't say it has anything to do with…

Sometimes the garbage does need to go out. Don't become a complete asshole to make a point. She wants you to demonstrate resolve in your leadership with a shit test, sometimes she just wants the fucking garbage out. Yeah this is what I struggle with. I suspect she's gotten great at figuring out loads of reasonable requests just so she can seem to order me around without getting called out on it.

Unfortunately the easy times are when she raises her voice/changes tone. Then I look at her like she's crazy and wait for her to ask nicely or apologize. The tough situations are the ones that are on the line, like asking me a bit too often to grab something for her from the kitchen, 'since I'm already up.'

All of that is a massive shit-test and you're failing miserably. This is what I'm suspecting. My problem is, how do I say no to a simple request without sounding like a little bitch about it?

Thanks. Good point about changing the tone of everything. I did get lucky the next day and with a good attitude on her side, but now I feel myself wanting to just slip back into our old habits since this problem is 'fixed.'

> Embrace women for what they are, emotional creatures, and use it for your benefit. This sounds great but how exactly do you do this? When your wife is having her period and is seriously upset at me for some bullshit, throwing her on the sofa and tickling her might just give her more ammunition. I'm glad it works for you but what are some alternative strategies?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
