2	Today I got the happiest message I've ever gotten from a doctor office: freedom I did a scalpel vas and in retrospect probably would have gone with a no scalpel procedure. I think I had worse pain than average, so YMMV. That said: Day 1: feel a bit like you've been kicked in the balls ALL DAY. Don't feel like walking anywhere. Hobbling around like an old man. Day 2: can gently walk around, no more major pain Day 3: starting to feel normal, can walk to the store/etc., but NO bike riding, heavy lifting, or other major activity for 2-3 weeks.
