It happens, every once on a while there's a week when there's a lot of events or I'm just feeling a little worn out so it's good to take a break - good thing about an LTR is you can get this sort of break on demand. This happened to me last week - lots of alcohol, eating out and going to events. It's summer after all, and where I am from summer ain't last long. However, this week, I'm making up for it. No more skipping the gym, and strict diet. Self awareness is the key, you need a balance. Bala…

Are your friends 12? Because this sounds like a lie you tell your friends in middle school because you're a beta virgin. It totally depends, what you mentioned is perfectly normal. If you ever come across a girl that turns you on like the prehistoric ape you are, then you'll be able to go a couple times. When I started dating my current LTR, I was away at some point for a week or so and when I came back, we fucked 8-9 times in a 24 hour period. Normally, we'll fuck 2-3 times in a night. So it de…

I've been with my LTR for about half a year now and I initiate 90% of the times. I look at it this way: If she's initiating it too many times, then you're not initiating enough. The biggest advantage of an LTR is sex on demand - and you should be the one demanding it. If she refuses (exceptional situations obviously apply), then you've got a problem.

To add to this, if you're in the US and depending on the state, she would also have "squatters right" if you had no lease or legal document signed that limited her stay for a period (a year generally). So you can't just throw someone out. Lawyer up brother, it's hard to throw a girl out.

If you're young and are okay with a roommate, go ahead with the house, rent a room out if possible and get the renter to pay a part or full amount of your mortgage. Plenty of people a couple years older than me have suggested this and done it. Addition: obviously it would be better if you can rent it to someone you sort of know but never to a good friend. Don't complicate it, but rent it to someone you know you can trust.

Get a hobby, mate. Something not so stressful, or physically demanding. Hell, sign up for that pottery class. Anything to get away from her. Once you're fixed, back to the gym.

I normally tend to tease her for it. Last (and the only) time it happened I just started taking the dude's side and how it was really nice of him and I feel bad that he got rejected and that I sympathize with him etc. Just completely deflected the point that she got hit on, and when she playfully started hitting me because I was being a jerk, I told her in all seriousness that if other dudes are not hitting on her, then why am I with her? Not exactly those lines I mentioned, I obviously worded t…

I'll give you a different opinion than the one reflected most on TRP. Been dating this girl for 3 months, same shit you just described. I asked her to be my girlfriend, no bullshit, just straight up said it because I felt it in the moment. And it came out naturally, and she said yes eagerly. That was the end of it. Don't over think it. If you feel it, do it, take the lead. Listen to your gut.

Ah so a comfort test, I see. I felt that vibe from this one too because when I didn't care she seemed to be a little bothered that I wasn't

That's quite insightful, thank you. When she had talked too much about it, I decided to shut up her with "if XX and YY aren't hitting on you, then why am I here?"

First, you should just not have people in your life that don't add value or that you can't have a good conversation with. People that don't meet that criteria are just a waste of my time. However the value a plate adds is sex. Anything more and you're in dangerous territory where she stops being strictly a plate.

Every now and then, I'll ejaculate too early when my arousal is sky high with my LTR during that given session. It happens, the more you think about it the worse your anxiety gets. Just enjoy the sex, believe it or not, she's more worried about pleasing you than you are about pleasing her. One last bit of beta conditioning I removed (didn't even think about it until that point) was the notion of pleasing her. My girl cums almost every time but other times I'm okay just finishing without her and …

Answer this: what are you afraid of? Is she gonna leave if you call her your little slut? At best she'll tell you she's not into it and you move on (it's awkward if you make it). And even if she leaves, so what? If I am in an LTR with a girl who I called a little slut in a sexual way and she leaves, then she better leave faster because I have 0 time for someone that immature. Do what you want, take control and lead the way. She'll be a little slut for the right guy, always remember.

You listen. And you never try to give a solution. That's it, sounds hard, but really just listening, nodding and letting her know you're there to listen is more than she can ask for or expect. Most men run to fix her problems but they don't realize that women don't operate the way men do. Women don't have the responsibility of fixing most things - and hence don't want you to provide a solution. It's mostly upto men in the family (incase of your example) or in any social circle to fix things. Wom…

Honestly I don't use the term "good girl" and stuff with my LTR because it just sounds cringy, but you're doing the right thing by letting her qualify to you. Beta me used to feel real bad when girls did stuff for me because I've always been the kind of person to pull my own weight, but I let my current LTR (first one since TRP) do stuff for me (make my bed, cook me food etc.) because I never qualify myself to her and she genuinely enjoys it. One thing that is the absolute foundation of TRP is t…

Playing games/manipulation is a drain on my mental energy tbh. To me, it's easier to just take the lead and be straightforward, if she likes it good on her if she doesn't, saved from wasting a bunch of time. Have better things to do than just thinking about her constantly and how I can "lead her on" if you know what I'm saying.
/r/askTRP03/03/19 07:59 PM
1

Well said. You have to show your softer side every now and then. Whenever I do that with my LTR, it's to reward her for making my bed, or making me food or after sex. She knows this, and she has started to exploit this lately - which is good for me. Then sometimes when I'm unexpectedly kind or affectionate, she really cherishes it.

TRP answer: There's a billion cars out there and you want to go for one of the two? I'd move on and look for a better car that also has an AC because neither option works for me. However, since unicorns don't exist and I need a car more now than later, my choice would be different than yours depending on my own preferences. I live in a place where it was -50 last week. So I'll take a shit car with AC especially since limo has no AC and would be impractical in this tundra climate. But maybe for y…

It's a red flag, or something you need to be wary of. Sure many of the people without father figures turn out just fine but with TRP, everything is about being prepared for the worst outcome. That's why the advice you see here will almost always be extreme in its nature because here we discuss realistic, cold, hard facts. Ofcourse decisions about dating and sexual marketplace have an element of emotion to it but that bit is where your decision making comes in. Think of it this way - you ask for …

That makes absolute sense, thank you. I have come to know that she's been telling friends/family about me, and hinting at exclusivity but until she brings it up I guess it's best to leave that pot boiling.
/r/askTRP18/02/19 10:39 PM

Quite the opposite, I think she's already assumed we're exclusive even though I haven't brought it up or even mentioned the word, which is the problem. I want to reverse that thinking before she gets too comfortable.

I agree with the "see her a little less", and I have been trying. I rarely ask her to hang out, she's always initiating and we always bang 3-4 times a night when we hang so I never say no to it. I don't have her on any of my social medias though.

Alpha has a lot of definitions and I'm sure you get the gist from other replies, but simply put, if you're in a group (friends, family or even just another individual) and they rely on you to make the decisions and lead the way, then you're the alpha.

It happens. Every single time. At that point, you start thinking maybe you're the problem. It's understandable, whenever thoughts like that come to my mind, I think: No need to be an insecure s.o.b. AWALT, she isn't better or worse than any other girl in the sense that she has a sexual history and that you're probably making the worst images in your head - it's really on you. Focus on the better things about her and yourself. I know that image in your head is gut wrenching, but she probably feel…

She's looking for validation most likely, sounds like a hoe trying to make "the one that got away" into an orbiter. Power play, ego kinda thing. Don't bang, too risky (don't risk a #metoo, plenty of girls out there) and never, ever rummage through trash. It's never worth it. These are my views, however when sex is good I feel like I would have a weak self control situation and I'm working on it. That's when you come to this sub, when you have dilemmas like that.

Not an LTR, wasn't even thinking of it yet. Everything was going great, we had a genuine connection and she was always eager to hang out. Recently started seeing her, maybe a month? I tried only texting for logistics, but she kept converting it into conversations. You have oneitis. Your gut is telling you to run (I would too, girl sounds like a bad news) but you won't follow through because you are too attached and feeling secure. She fucked you once, now you've told her you only want her. Big NO NO. Why? Is she the only girl in the world? She doesn't even seem your type so what is it that makes you think you only want her? I graduated in Engineering, and have been working as an analyst in a client facing role for the last two years since graduation. It's not the fanciest job, but I think it is a great place to start from TRP point of view because: Travel all over the country, from metropolitan to middle of bum fuck nowhere areas. Well it's literally just banter. With your bros, are you always nice? Are you always an asshole? Women want to be treated normally too, and their social conditioning is way better than ours so they can see right through you when you're being too nice (to get in their pants) or you're being an absolute asshole (trying too hard). So you gotta do both. Here's an example I'm going to pull out of my ass but you'll get the idea: So say she's bitching about her friend so you give her shit about, say, h…

You've been here 25 days, sounds like you're in anger mode. That's understandable, why do you keep saying women are a waste of time? Why do you believe that? Concurring a lot of other answers above, most MGTOW guys seem like they're taking the easy way out rather than putting in the work. I wear the "Day and Night" ones, put them in and take them out a month later. Haven't had an issue in a year and a half - give them a shot. I don't like stuff in my eye at all so contacts were a big no until I found these. Would highly recommend, not only is it good for looks (unless glasses look better on you) but also the kind of goddamn freedom you enjoy - can't even imagine if you haven't tried contact lenses that you don't have to take out for an entire month.

After a summer of absolute blast and owning shit, I am at a low point mentally. No reason, got shit going pretty well in all areas but for some reason life doesn't seem as fast paced and productive as it seemed to be. And that's okay, it doesn't have to be consistently happy go lucky. All you can do is keep going, forcing yourself to take care of your interests and self preservation. I feel the same, it really does happen. Pussies smell, they're a moist crevice - Some more than others ofcourse. But again "smell" is subjective, I find only a handful of pussies tolerable and only one that I've ever actually been absolutely bonkers about. I feel like your body has a way to tell you if you want someone or not, period. That goes for LTRs and plates, both. I used to have this exact question but at the end of the day it comes down to if you're enjoying your time with a plate. If she doesn't seem worth it, your body will tell you. A lot of times it'll come out during sex, you'll stop feeling attracted to her after the second or the third time, just to give you an example. Nope, that's worse. That's the key, not just with women but with men too, as soon as you retaliate you're in their frame - that they got under your skin which was their goal. Your actual response (loose snatch) was decent because even though you retaliated, you called her out on her insecurity. I think a good response in this case would be to make fun of her insecurity (but in a "ha ha, I look like I'm joking but you know it's true") or Agree and amplify - "yeah he's tiny but that lets me buy cu…

I think you gave a good response, by using pressure flip. However, it does seem like she got under your skin, which you should work on. She probably is losing interest, and depending on the details she was maybe talking to someone else who started to ignore her so she came back to talk to you. Gauge over the next few days, trust your instinct.

I can't say I have experience regarding the exact situation, but close to it. Ex LTR had a shitty dad, we even went to his 4th wedding. Really fucked with her, she started projecting all of it on me but I gave her the time and space. Being supportive is not necessarily being physically there, actually quite the opposite. You really need to see a GP. That initial phone call isn't to help you, mental health is not a tooth ache where they can just give you a pill. They do the screening so they can determine who they might be able to assign to you considering there's usually a high demand. You can't just show up and expect help, it takes time and patience. Give it a shot, most people I know who battle mental health issues go through multiple therapists before they find one that's "not the worst". It's not easy, you …

You're not her daddy (yet) so it's not your responsibility to let her know she's being unreasonable. If I were OP I would've just straight up said "I was busy". You can't logic with women let alone try and change their perspective. Or just "I wanted to save the conversation for our date"

"If I don't text she'll forget about me" - took me a while to own upto that, good thing you know the truth. Next step is to realize that it's not your responsibility to have her remember you. If she's into you, she'll remember. If it's something a little more serious, text her maybe once or twice a day. We're good matches = i'm going to do something (that I should be doing for myself) but just to get her = she's the one = oneitis. No matter how you spin this. If you're thinking of one girl - it's oneitis. Especially if you're going to self improve with a primary goal to "get her back".

Okay, no, again that's a rhetorical question. Idc where your abundance is, it's about how you seem to the girl setting a date so far in advance. How is it six days btw? 5 days this week and 6 days next week, that's 11, that's long enough for a girl to change her mind or heck, to find a better date or thing to do. Here's an example of what OP is saying - Chad pumps and dumps Stacy. Stacy cries to Billy beta about how she got 'used'. Stacy still doesn't fuck Billy, Billy comes to TRP in hopes to understand. We were all Billy once.

That is messed up imo, i know startup cultures are chill, mine is too. We have beers in the office, people are open and friendly but what you've described is not a very sustainable work environment. Co-workers are humans after all, you get too close and the drama and politics ensue, no matter what. Keep your distance, take part at the minimum so as to not be ostracized completely but man this kind of openness can screw you up long term.

I work in a startup tech culture, to answer your first question - keep it professional. Two reasons, first being you never know who likes what kind of contact, so keep it safe. Second, if you want to climb the ladder you cannot be friends with people you might be managing one day. I only hang out with my coworkers outside of work when it's an office lunch/happy hour. Other than that, I'm perfectly happy never seeing them outside the office ever. As for plating, I wouldn't plate anyone, at all. A…

Yeah it can work in certain cases, the girl I'm seeing right now had a good dose of getting called out, and that worked. But I didn't get into an extreme situation like OP's where he got stood up. That shit deserves not a second thought.
/r/askTRP06/09/18 06:08 PM
3

Also, by ignoring I mean Ignore the situation, not the girl. Blatantly ignoring her looks butthurt too, just don't let it seem like it got to you. Ideally, it shouldn't get to you at all, but you seem new to the journey so fake it till you make it. Work on abundance so the next time you get stood up, it should feel like you went to McDonald's and they were out of nuggets. So you just drive to the next McDonald's instead of cursing at the employees.

No it doesn't. This post is clearly about a first date, if you call out your LTR that still shows breaking frame tbh. The point is to not acknowledge bad behavior at all. It doesn't matter to her what or how you call her out, she gets the attention and does it again for more attention. If she does something so bad that you feel the need to call her out - you next her ass. If it's not too bad, you ignore and she realizes this kind of behavior doesn't get a response out of you.
/r/askTRP06/09/18 05:56 PM

It's happened to many people before. She could have her reasons, but unless she got into an accident or had an emergency there's really no good excuse. Waiting 2 hours for her was obviously not a good move, respect yourself a little more than that. You sound like a regular, good dude. Some people are just shitty, forget about it and move on because she doesn't deserve a second thought. Don't let her live in your head rent free, just remember this happens to men and women alike, nothing embarrass…

It's not about confronting in a beta way or anything, it's about giving things that don't matter a thought AT ALL. Consider this, you get stood up - 1) You don't respond, that doesn't validate her behavior and she thinks "wow, dude didn't even care" 2) You call her out, in the best alpha way possible, which gives her attention. What are the chances she thinks "he really changed my mind, I'm going to stop being a bitch". Nope. She's probably enjoying the fact she just hurt you and made you whine …

It's the perfect opportunity to exercise some push and pull, build up some tension - you give her shit when she loses but then let her feel real good when she beats you. And then you choke-slam that bitch on the trampoline.

The easiest way is to find hobbies, a lot of people here will suggest some kind of martial art - I would highly recommend. Good exercise, you learn something useful and it's a good time sink. Plus you'll build confidence and make friends. Good luck

The biggest change I've had in my life since I got introduced to TRP was being comfortable with myself and enjoying my own company. You're lonely because you've realized women are not the center of your life but you haven't replaced pussy with anything substantial or important to your own self (aka your mission). To be honest, no. Being straightforward and concise can often display a good, stoic frame and being able to answer a question in few (important) words displays a command on language. If her question was more along the tone of "Why didn't you just buy the bigger box, you stupid?", then I'd DARE because the girl's clearly not interested in the boxes, she's interested in how you respond - aka a shit test. If her question was more along the lines of "curious as to why you made the choice", then I'd …

Curious to hear other perspectives, but here's my take - Depends on the situation, DAREing is essentially a tool to stop qualifying yourself to a woman (or anyone for that matter) by providing excuses or explanations. If in this case the woman was genuinely curious as to why you made that decision, explain in as few words as possible (i.e, the 2x smaller ones are on sale actually etc.) If it was more like a shit test, then DARE. You have to be the judge of the mood, sometimes questions are just …

I haven't been on this sub as long but I've come far. Yet, every girl I have a real connection with, I end up with the same old BP attachment. You're a civilized being, not an animal and feeling love is natural. Heck, what the fuck is even love? You get a feeling and you believe that's love, you can't quantify it and it's subjective per individual. What RP tells you is this love that you feel, won't be reciprocated. I like your answer, I've done my fair share of fucking around and I'm looking to be in something more committed, call it a change of pace. Ofcourse this girl is no unicorn, but may be worth the effort. Sex may not be the best but let's be honest it rarely ever is, you can't tell that unless you try. And to get to trying I need to escalate with a girl that is hella stoic and prudent.

O young Padawan, the Sexual Market Place follows no logical reasoning - just pure instinct. Millions of years of instinct that we can't entirely explain. Who cares about the shorties, go about banging the majestic tall ones.

Short girls (5'6 and below) go for tall guys (6'1+) amd vice versa. So, tall girls go for regular height guys like us (around 6'0) as long as we're taller than them, because taller dudes won't go for them. I consistently do well with girls around 5'8. And I kinda like taller girls, short and stubby ones are weird, to each their own though. Ps: It's not 6"0 it's 6'0" ya heathen

That's honestly good to hear. Just be patient with your parents, it only gets "worse" as they grow older. You need to be their rock, ofcourse have some boundaries (for example, on how many times you talk to her and how long each time, your time is important too). Just don't ever let them feel like they're losing you, you're their everything. On the brighter side, this is good practice to maintain your frame and avoiding shit tests.

Your mother sounds like an exception, I should say "most women" but for the sake of easy I said "all women", because rule of thumb is that exceptions always exist. And yes, IF his mom is doing that too many times he needs to set boundaries as to how many times he talks to her on the phone. Hell, set boundaries in general if you haven't. But every now and then, especially as your parents get older and more dependent, they'll want to talk to you and spend time with you. It's just how it works and …

See, it really depends on individual circumstances. Honestly listening to both my parents vent on separate phone calls once or twice a week has really helped me build my frame. I don't participate, I don't comfort. I just listen, and that's really all they need. Your single mother does not need you to cuddle and help her go to sleep, she just needs you to listen. If it's too bad, ofcourse he should act, maybe she even needs mental help or just literally any number of reasons. BUT assuming she's venting like a regular woman, he should just listen (I do it too, once or twice a week for an hour), let her vent, hold your frame and go on about doing whatever you were doing. Prepared for the downvotes, but here's my take- Your mother is different. She's not the same as your plate, or your LTR or whatever. She's bringing her issues to you because she trusts you like you trust her (not speaking for the people who had shitty relationships with their moms). So no, for once, no AWALT. As you get older, try to become a "man", more of the household responsibilities move from your father to you. So if you're going to go out and act all alpha, then there are responsibilities…

So we matched monday, Tuesday was overflowing with conversation, asked her out, she asked for my snapchat. Wednesday conversation was still good, i was hanging out with another chick so I kept it to the minimum necessary. Thursday we talked a bit more but didn't hear from her at all after a certain point. Today, was supposed to be the date so maybe I'll ask if we're still up for it

We were talking about her dog, so it wasn't anything that I said that might've stopped the conversation, most people love talking about their pets and so did she. Just dropped outta nowhere.

No I asked for drinks and she was pretty enthusiastic and suggested multiple days so we settled on friday since that worked for me, and then we were talking just fine, until yesterday. So I think it might still be on the table..

I have the same thing, it's just the nature of online dating. It's all about timing, if we match around beginning of the week convo dies by the weekend, actually had that happen this week with a girl that was asking questions constantly, asked for my snap etc. It works much better if you talk a day or two and just meet up. Hit while the iron is hot, my dude.

I used to do this, and honestly it starts affecting you in situations outside of just gaming women. What I did was to start complimenting people who I wasn't romantically interested in, like coworkers or people I know at the gym. Males and females alike, you just compliment people for genuine reasons, and slowly you'll become a better judge of situations where it's ideal to pull, not push. Tl;dr - Start by being nice to people you don't want to bang, in genuine situations, become a better judge …

These things are all okay (except trying 4-5 times), but they need to be done carefully and naturally. You can't force these. Kissing, touching and caressing are fine but looks like you weren't looking out for IOIs, rather you were focused on things you NEEDED to do. Just go with the flow next time. 2 points- 1. Treat the situation like approaching a deer - don't do anything too quick or you'll spook them off. 2. Enjoy yourself. You're thinking too much about applying TRP. You're a person, you h…

I think everyone faces this issue, so don't worry too much about it. Just remember to maintain frame. Withholding sex on the first date is common, so I'll try escalating twice in the night, but if it fails I don't let it affect myself, there's not much you can do besides try. You have to tread the fine line between coming across as desperate and not doing enough to escalate. Just trial and error until you find the sweet spot. So say, your first date, she's reluctant and you've tried twice. The s…

I think you came off as needy. You start with kino, escalate over the date. She was witholding sex and you were showering her with attention - sounds BP? You be the judge. What's with texting AND calling? If she's ignoring you, soft next immediately and wait for her to reach out. If you want to push, be a bit subtle. Addition: Never go by what she says, go by how she acts. Says she'll fuck your brains out on NEXT date? Doesn't matter, how she's acting in the moment is much different from what sh…

Cooking date at your place is a great idea, I personally feel more comfortable at my home and that obviously helps the game. Especially with Kino, but the condition is you should be atleast a decent cook yourself.

I implore you to read it asap - go to r/TheRedPill and search for the book of pook, post with links will pop up. Come back after reading it and let me know your thoughts.

OP's probably not from an english speaking country, it's okay if he doesn't need to speak to the girl in english. I wouldn't lie. Either you make it clear you're not exclusive because it's a plate and doesn't matter if it breaks. Or don't sleep with other girls if you feel like you'll need to lie. Or you know, ignore the subject, all comes down to how much you care. Which you shouldn't but that's just me.

Ignore-deflect-bullshit, in that order. It's none of her business who you were with so she can either back off when you ignore or deflect, but if she insists just say "a friend". Simple as that, you've got better things to do.

A whole lotta people in NYC are dressed well and look good. Do something to stand out, but as a poor student who moved from a small town, start small champ. Chasing models? Don't wank before you've learnt to pee.

Yeah the addiciton is because of your lack of discipline. Video games are great for stimulating your mind while providing physical relaxation. I encourage people to do it if they're into it, because at the end of the day as a man you should control your habits, not the other way round. Don't avoid an addiction, fight it.

I had the same anxiety, not because knees were weak or arms were spaghetti but really because I don't talk to people a lot when it's not serving a purpose. Or maybe just reserved, but I had to get out of comfort zone by talking to people in areas where it's not common. I started by talking to men and getting comfortable approaching strangers. Airports and gyms are great to do this, not the kind of places where you talk to people but there's plenty of conversation material. What exercise they're …

Well that totally changes it, yeah if it's at a coffee shop for a position that's not full time or something then ofcourse, it's more casual, probably wouldn't even worry about the hickey. Good luck!

I work in an engineering position, got it after graduating a year ago. Wear a tie with collared shirt. The tie makes a difference trust me, put a suit on and then it's overkill. What you're planning to wear is business casual. That's what the interviewer is going to wear at the minimum, they might even show up in a suit. And you never want to be less formal than the interviewer. It's the best shot at hiding a hickey. DO NOT bring it up unless asked.

Depending on the city and region, yeah. Bigger the city, more the 9s. I recently moved to a big-ish city and I've had my share of good experiences and then some that I don't mention. Helps with the abundance mentality too, when I next a girl I find my support in -you guessed it- tinder.

I think you shouldn't jump to conclusions. Infact, I would say let her go, and then observe how she behaves during and after. There's several red flags in this scenario, if she's not hoeing she'll text you throughout, will probably tell you she misses you etc etc. If she cheats, there will be indications and you'll know. Instead of trying to control her, give her benefit of the doubt + this is a good opportunity to check out her character. There's so many reasons why she wants to go but can't ta…

You can't intimidate coworkers with size, trust me. Had the same issue while I was hardcore BP. People bother you when they need something that they don't have - in this case, attention. They love to control especially if they've got kids because suddenly this makes them all knowing godesses. Just ignore and let your actions speak. Draw a line and if anyone crosses i…

Yeah I'm inclined towards the patient approach. If it were a general conversation with enough time to build rapport and ask for number I'd do that, but since it's a gym I feel like I need to give it a few more conversations before I can make my intentions clear. Gym's tricky since you can't talk to someone for too long at a time.

Fair enough, I think everyone's focusing on "how do I ask her ____" part, that shouldn't be a problem I have a few ideas but still appreciate the input. In a normal conversation I wouldn't fuck around too long and eventually go in for the phone number but since this is the gym, I can't talk to her for more than a couple minutes so I was wondering if I should play a patient game and build rapport, or go in for the kill right away. I was inclining towards the patience game but that sounds awfully …

Great advice, keeping it simple. Assuming it goes well, should I go in for a phone number? Would it be better to build a better rapport first and be patient? I'm thinking potential LTR with this one, if possible. So I don't want to risk being too aggressive, or is that beta talk?

So a while ago, I got advice here regarding how to approach HB9 at the gym. Broke the ice by discussing this exercise she does and didn't stick around too long, set a first impression, got an introduction and small talk. Saw her workout right around me the rest of the time I was there, but ignored her. Now, I'm wondering how to go about conversing the next time i see her, maybe bring up a common hobby I know we have? See, we all have a different definition of a mission, I believe, and that's fine. Mission is what evokes passion and zeal. It could be anything, it could be long term or short term. I can't explain the whole strategy but I'll give you examples for what helps my overall mission: Always open to criticism, I take extra steps to understand how my colleagues and superiors feel about me. We've all been where you are so consider this harshness as a proverbial slap across your face, out of care. Remember, mindset is everything. You need to truly believe in the abundance available to you and your own value. You are better than this, you can do better than this. Back to the iron temple you go, put in the work, replace this girl with things you genuinely like. It takes time and restraint, and so you need to introduce some discipline back into your life. Fuck all else.

I feel the same, I've been out of college for less than a year but even I feel really out of place. Thing is, college bars are fun if you're out with someone you're already comfortable with. OR, if you go to that college then it will automatically make you feel comfortable since you'll recognize people from classes, clubs etc. I've been better off trying more grown up- young professional kind of scenes.

It happens, I've been a long time smoker so it doesn't affect me anymore. If anything I get more productive and focused. It was in the beginning I felt like this, and when I had to detox before a drug test I felt the same. As long as your body is tolerant to it, you can keep the habit up. Just don't let it get out of hand, set a limit on amounts and keep track, only smoke when you relax (after finishing all your work and chores). She is clearly in control and thus has the power. Rule#1 of LTRs - be willing to walk away at anytime. Sticking around just because you've been doing it too long is like standing next to trash to watch it decompose because you spent so much time collecting it. Oh, and you're young. Go out and explore life, including your sexuality. Noone will make you happy unless you know what makes you happy. JFC mate, get a grip. Edit: I've been there and I'm only two years older to you. Beat me to it, people often project their insecurities and guilt onto you. If she's talking about the possibility of you cheating on her too many times, chances are she's already cheating on you. It's not necessary to have a specific mission in mind, rather it's important to have one at all. I'm 23, and my mission is to make money and climb the company ladder. Think of your mission as a pyramid, with your ultimate goal at the top. It's hard to see what's at the top of the giant pyramid, but you vaguely know what you WANT at the top. You're starting at the base, and each one of the building blocks you lay create one step towards the top. These individual blocks are the most important, tak…

Yeah sounds like you're just too worried about looking like an ass. Here's how I got over it: Talk to strangers in random places, bonus points if it's a place where people normally don't talk to strangers. My fav? Airports and planes (I travel for work) and the gym.
