Yes/no. Oxford comma is not required. It should, however, be used for the sake of clarity (in my opinion).

He didn't really popularize aesthetics, he was just an "ideal" body among those groups. The whole idea of aesthetics is to be as visually pleasing as possible, so that's not really something you can just make popular in the 2000's.

Think about the farmers in Africa. Just think about them! If it weren't for video games, they'd . . . uh . . . wait, hold on. No, yeah, they'd like, farm or something.

tl;dr: I'm fat and would rather make excuses than get in shape. Boo-fucking-hoo.

I definitely prefer the feminine-style in texting/chatting. I find that talking bluntly or with correct grammar, such as a period, results in miscommunicated tones. I might sound angry or rude when I otherwise mean to be playful. It happens all the time when I see people write with periods. It just looks much better when you end like this! As opposed to ending like this.

Wow, that's a fantastic way to put everything. This is the kind of content that should be in /r/bestof.

I think it would be a bit less confusing as this: "So, what I was concerned about was trying to figure out who picked up who in this situation? Did I do everything well? Regardless, though, I felt good after the encounter." Also, my answer would be that it doesn't really matter who picked up who--it seems a bit of both of you. You did very well and should be rather content.

I like this idea. If you jump in with too big a challenge, less people will do it, and will make future challenges less appealing (well, speaking on assumptions. I'm thinking that if people do this challenge, they'll be more inclined to do the next week's, and so forth.) Starting off strong gives an excuse to not do it, but something basic, like this, allows for newer people to feel accomplished and move on to the more advanced challenges. edit: I just thought of this idea and I feel like it mig…

I think heightmatters said it best, you didn't escalate enough. Although, by the sounds of what you wrote, it also seems like the girl may have been a little, I don't know, strange. Seemed like maybe she even wanted you to follow her off the dance floor, perhaps. Really, I'm not too sure. It sounds like a strange scenario. I wouldn't really worry about it too much, but I would say to escalate a bit more when it reaches that point (she seemed to be wanting more by the third time).

Not a novel, but Byron's Don Juan is a mock epic poem basically about a guy sleeping with a bunch of women, and how he did it. Generally anything about Don Juan is going to be about his sexcapades, seduction, and fighting.

I'm talking about situations outside of the bar more specifically than those within. Places where the intentions may be more skewed by someone who perceives me as simply being outgoing or attempting to be friendly.

Great advice, this is actually pretty helpful. Gonna keep this in the back of my mind tonight at the bars. Thanks a lot.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
