It sounds like you need to learn how to flirt. That’s how you get reciprocated signals to know whether you are in a safe zone to ask someone out. Women are not going to ask you out pal. Not for the most part anyway. Chances are if women are comfortable talking to you and being friends with you, you’re not unattractive.

If you start thinking of a cold approach as being a door to door salesman showing up unannounced maybe that will help. It’s the equivalent of someone you don’t know FaceTiming you before asking. Try at the very least to establish eye contact or get a smile ANYTHING that reads as a signal before walking over

I’m a woman. In my dating/romantic experience, it almost always starts out as “wants to” and based on his actions (or inactions), behavior, etc it’ll usually downgrade to a “nope”pretty quickly or it upgrades to sex happening. TLDR; There’s a difference between “wants to” and “is going to”.
