1	Our Appeal of the Quarantine to the Reddit Admin But there is a logical side to this. Reddit wants to make money, and they think TRP is scaring advertisers away. TRP wants to have the quarantine lifted. There might be possible compromises, and discussing about them would be the only way to make this a win-win situation. I don't think we can shame them to not do this, since the public opinion is that TRP is evil. Nor I suppose we should. This doesn't represent the issue well, and has literally zero possibility of accomplishing anything useful. (Heads up for /u/SlyGradient) Reddit has not changed robots.txt. Instead, quarantined subreddits are removed from SiteMap.xml. More importantly, Reddit servers are replying with error code 403 (Forbidden) to requests sent by search engines to quarantined subreddits (at least to googlebot).
