Sort of like how the top posts on r/women are almost exclusively about hating men. Rather than be motivated by support and love, it’s hatred.

That life expectancy comparison study has a flaw. It includes widows who outlive their husbands as single, this artificially boosting the single life expectancy stats for women by including women who outlived their husbands.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:38 PM

Absolutely. And that is the real reason. That they simply don’t want to. The excuses are just after the fact explanations. But yes if you don’t want to have sex you probably shouldn’t be entering into relationships with other people where you require their sexual exclusivity as a condition of the relationship if you don’t intend on having sex with them. Not unless they are equally enthusiastic about not having sex with you or anyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 04:17 PM

Yes almost every reason a woman gives as an excuse to not have sex sounds like a pretty good reason TO have sex. Tired? Great sex improves sleep quality and helps you fall asleep faster. Sick? What else are you gonna do? Stressed? Orgasms relieve stress. Busy? Great. Sex can be a great way to distract you from your task list and recharge ready to work undistracted.

Filing the paperwork is the finalization of a divorce, not the initiation of it. And obviously the one with the most financial incentive to file the paperwork will be the one most often doing it.

Also, we need to stop talking about them as “enablers” at least one victim says she was primarily abused by Ghislaine, and that she was much worse than Epstein. Also there was a woman who was Epstein’s neighbor who wanted to have lots of his babies to supply him with a steady stream of girls to abuse. That is much worse than mere enabling.

It isn’t just hours worked though. The controlled gender pay gap, which considers factors such as job title, experience, education, industry, job level and hours worked, is currently at 99 cents for every dollar men earn. https://www.forbes.com/advisor/business/gender-pay-gap-statistics/ And this is leaving out the fact that men are more likely to do shift work, which pays more and should pay more because it is terrible for your physical, mental, and social health. On domestic violence, there is…

This is the most cited study I see on the orgasm gap. And it measures “frequency of orgasm when sexually intimate” https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28213723/ It isn’t necessarily that the men aren’t caring whether or not she finishes, but that if her sex drive is on a lower frequency, it will just be harder for that woman to orgasm some of the time, when the couple’s sex is at a frequency somewhere in the middle of the pair’s differing ideal frequency.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 03:07 PM

The orgasm gap stat is misrepresented. The orgasm gap is measured on a per session basis, not over time. When you measure it over time, lesbian women and straight women are orgasming at about the same rates. The reason the rate is lower for hetero relationships could be because men tend to have more frequent sexual desires than women, and women in relationships with men are compromising between their frequency of desire and his. Compromise is a good thing in a relationship. It shouldn’t be my wa…

Keep in mind the orgasm gap is an often misrepresented statistic. The orgasm gap studies measure orgasms on a “per session” basis. And the curious thing is, when you measure amount of orgasms over time, lesbians and straight women have virtually the same rate of orgasms. And this makes sense. When it’s been a while, you are more likely to start pursuing one. Another thing people ignore about the most popularly cited orgasm gap study is that women who orgasm more are likely to do the sorts of thi…

I notice none of those women are ACTUALLY choosing bears. Most of them are in reality, still choosing men. I always put it another way. If you are on a hiking trail, and a bear enters your trail 100 feet up trail, and there is a man 100 feet behind you, would you run to the bear to help you fend off the man? Or to the man to help you fend off the bear? Anyways, trust what people do, not what they say. Look around, count the women you know who date/marry men, then look at the women who live with …

Those “low” false allegation stats you see circulating is the amount we can PROVE to be false, not the amount that ARE false. That is a hard thing to prove, similar to how rape is also hard to prove. The interesting thing about the orgasm gap is that lesbian women have roughly the same amount of total orgasms as straight women. That’s because lesbians have more orgasms PER SESSION but have fewer sessions. They also have about the same amount of orgasms per minute of sex as straight women. Because their sex lasts longer each session. So the orgasm gap between lesbians and straight women is simply evidence that they have different sexual time patterns. Yea and if you do the math you will find because lesbians have longer sessions, the orgasms per minute of sex are actually similar even though the per session rates are different. And of course because lesbians have less frequent sex, their total amount of orgasms are similar to straight women’s as well, despite having a higher rate per session. Of course individuals of any given sex vary more than the average between the sexes so I don’t doubt your experience.

We actually have no idea how many of the reports are false reports various stats say under 10 percent of accusations can be proven to be false. But apply that same counting logic to SA. If we only count SAs that are proven to happen, we would conclude that SA itself is exceedingly rare since only about 3 percent of reported SAs even make it to trial to even have a shot at being proven. The claim that the proportion of false claims in unprovable cases is the same as it is in probable cases is also unsubstantiated. Which is why we have almost no idea what the proportion of false claims is. I am not saying I know for sure unprovable claims are more likely to be false. But it is plausible. And until we find out if that is true that unprovable claims are just as likely to be false as provable claims, we can’t assume that such an extrapolation is appropriate. And yes the same could …

I do not assume “most” are false. I have no idea how many are false. I know where the floor is. And that is the amount that are proven to be false. Most studies put that figure somewhere below 10 percent. The ceiling is the amount that are not proven to be true, which is a huge number somewhere over 90 percent. The real answer is somewhere between those two numbers and we have no idea where that lies. Counting only those that are proven to be false is about as solid logic as only counting SAs th…

Your first paragraph is faulty logic. You are assuming that unprovable claims are equally likely to be false as probable claims. In reality, liars are often opportunistic. They don’t generally pick situations that are provable to lie about because that is riskier for them. If you are going to lie, most liars choose unprovable claims to lie about. Also, your next paragraph is also faulty logic. You claim because rape is common, the proportion of allegations that are true muse be high. That doesn’…

This is true. The number of women that get raped or sexually assaulted will always far outweigh the number of false accusations. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be critical of claims. This is only because most crimes aren’t reported. It can both be true what you said, and that a significant proportion of accusations are false.

Not exactly. It’s rare that accusations are “Proven to be false.” But apply that same counting logic to SA. Yes it’s interesting that noticing that women who do these things that I would argue are just basic for having good sex have more orgasms than average women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 11:41 AM

No I agree. These things don’t necessarily “make” then cum. We shouldn’t be reductive about it. Good is about the whole experience. Not just the mechanical means that gets you to orgasm. And you can have an easier time getting that orgasm if you have good sex in general. You can think of it like covid. You don’t need to die from covid itself to have a higher chance of dying when you get covid. Likewise, you don’t need to orgasm from the thing you are doing itself for it to improve your odds of h…

Most discussions on the orgasm gap leave out a ton of really revealing details, and use some very carefully curated facts to make points (usually that men are to blame in some way) that don’t make sense when you leave out some of the other facts. Sexual assertiveness and sexual pride are the biggest predictor of orgasm frequency in women. Not the sex of her partner. Given that women are forced to be sexually assertive in same sex relationships otherwise the sex doesn’t happen at all, and that pride is a huge part of homosexual identity, it’s not a surprise t…

That’s such a woman’s way of looking at it, that closing the orgasm gap means being more selfish in bed. Men would absolutely love it if women had more orgasms in sex. That wouldn’t be selfish at all. This would just make sex hotter for everyone. Women seeing this as a zero-sum proposition is revealing about what the orgasm gap is all about. There is nothing sexier than your partner bent more turned on. It just adds to the hotness of the sex for both partners. At least for men.

So many of these grooming procedures have nothing to do with what men find attractive. Take claws. I don’t know a man who has ever expressed attraction to women with claws, but how many women spend lots of time and money on these giant impractical claws? Also, men’s mags also had columns on how to please women. Even playboy had articles on how to close the orgasm gap. Just because Cosmo had tips on how to please men isn’t evidence that sex is all about men any more than men’s mags having article…

If you are going down the equal outcome road, then you need to consider that women’s orgasms last about twice as long as men’s, and are generally believed to be more intense than men’s. So if we want to talk equal outcome, men should be having orgasms twice as frequently as women just to be orgasming equitably in quantity, and women should be working harder to make up for the orgasm intensity gap as well. There are ways to make orgasms more intense for your partner to help bridge the orgasm inte…

Some detail is warranted. Not all women have a large orgasm gap with men. Women who receive anal for example, don’t have an orgasm gap. Not do women who do more sex acts. https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-gender-orgasm-gap/ Also, we need to consider what the biggest predictor of a woman having an orgasm is. Yes I can for sure relate to when women feel comfortable communicating what she wants and makes her feel good, I have a much easier time pleasing her. Most discussions on the orgasm gap leave out a ton of really revealing details, and use some very carefully curated facts to make points (usually that men are to blame in some way) that don’t make sense when you leave out some of the other facts. For example, the fact that because women orgasm for a higher duration women’s orgasms last about twice as long as men’s. So when you add it up, women actually orgasm more than men. Basically you are finding some excuse for saying women shouldn’t put as much effort into sex as men. This is nonsense. Look if you want to take this line of logic, then you need to consider that women’s orgasms last about twice as long as men’s, and are generally believed to be more intense than men’s. So if we want to talk equity, men should be having orgasms twice as frequently as women just to be orgasming equitably in quantity, and women should be working harder to make up for the orgasm int…

Then what are you arguing about? If you believe it should be equal effort, then this isn’t about people who think like you. It’s about all the people who say it’s men’s responsibility to get the party started because most women have primarily responsive desire. These are the people I am talking about. Not you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/25 11:56 PM

You are making a conclusion that doesn’t follow. That because men cum more frequently, (not more in total mind you. Women cum more actually because their orgasms last about twice as long) that it’s because women put in more effort. When in fact, loads of men are putting in effort to NOT cum. In fact, cumming too easily is actually one of the leading sexual dysfunctions in men. So it’s not because women are putting in more effort,

Speaking from my own experience learning to love anal, it’s an acquired taste/skill. So yes I do believe that if people give it a chance and learn the skill, ost would love it. But we have a lot of negative social conditioning around anal that keeps people from giving it a fair shot and learning the skill of doing it in the way that it is pleasurable. We hear narratives like it’s for men’s pleasure or that it hurts, or that men only want to do it because of porn, or that it’s dirty (in a bad way)…

There is something this framing ignores: There are very good practical benefits to remaining a virgin. For one example: We learned during the covid pandemic how communicable disease spreads exponentially, and how reducing your contacts not only makes you safer, but makes everyone else safer as well. Right. But just being able to have sex for pleasure outside of estrus is a low bar if you are comparing women to men and not animals.
