I had no thoughts of ending it when we split, but I think it mostly comes down to who chose to split. Word of advice, keep a bag of frozen peas handy. It's great for reducing swelling, and cutting back on the ache from "the boys". You'll thank me later.

It's not nearly as bad as you've heard. For about a week it feels like it does shortly after being kicked in the nuts, but not drop you to your knees painful. The procedure itself, is pretty painless. Definitely worth it in the long run.

My kids are 3 years apart. My wife (ex now, but still together at the time) frequently worked weekends, and I'd have the kids. A 3 yo, and a 3 mo at the same time, is extremely easy. I was able to shower, run laundry, do dishes, vacuum, take care of the kids (changing dirty diapers, while potty training the other, feeding them, etc), and STILL had time to kill. SAHM is easy. I would have gladly done that, and let my ex earn the bread, but in this day and age, a one income home isn't usually real…
