I had a gf who would dig up the most random irrelevant shit whenever I tried to express myself. It's a bind, because if you flat out ignore it, she'll say you're dismissing or invalidating her feelings, and if you entertain it, she's successfully wrestled the conversation away from you. This sounds very familiar.

There are several voice recorder apps you can get off the Android app store, probably the iphone app store too. They work well and they're subtle. You can turn the recorder on and put your phone in your pocket, and it can record hours worth of conversations. I used one once to record a conversation I had with my neighbor about their dog shitting in our yard, in case they got ugly about it and I needed evidence.

Men: stay away from universities altogether. Do something more practical like trade school, you'll get just as far (or further) that way anyhow. The deck is entirely stacked against you at universities, you'll get degraded/humiliated WHILE simultaneously getting robbed via loans.
