I can attest to this. I'm just here for my occasional dose of MGTOW now.

Don't let the word "professional" fool you, or that she's a published author. Have you seen the other articles on that site? All of them are way too ridiculous to be true. Trust your judgement man.

Don't waste your time man. They're just following the herd (culture) and their craving for pussy, not realising there are better things to focus on.

Haha, I like your progression of thought man.

Does this just mean you don't have photographic memory? Very difficult to tell either way. Do you have a sibling you can compare your experience with?

It's a useful categorisation. But it's all relative. Take an alpha and put him in a different community and he might become a beta. And vice versa.

Before reading your comments I thought about your thread question and came up with this: Simply, not doing anything because of how you think you will be perceived by women. This includes micro- and macro-behaviour. Basically completely factoring them out. I too think the hatred is unnecessary, but understand that not everyone is capable of true compassion, and in a way it's a vehicle for education. There's a lot wrong with the social dynamic in terms of gender bias. But when guys moan "they just…

Interesting perspective. "Realising it's all babble" is very much a Zen thing, and I'm not sure I'd describe it as psychological. When a Zen master asks his student "What is the sound of one hand clapping?" or any other nonsensical riddle (which are very prevalent in Zen) its purpose is to get the student to realise that no amount of intellectual investigation will yield any kind of ultimate understanding. When you take your consciousness away from your stream of thoughts (as in deep meditation)…

I can do whatever I want, whenever I want, without being judged. And not having to put up with endless complaints or irrational behaviour just for an occasional slice of pie. My life is so much less stressful, not only without a woman around, but also not worrying about trying to get one when they're not around.

Totally. It's a bit silly but I give her maximum credit for making it all herself. Refreshingly surprising.

Save as much as you can and invest it. The money will be very useful later. Treat yourself once in a while but don't get carried away buying expensive things you're hardly going to use.

That's a pretty loaded question. Your troll pattern is becoming obvious. Are you even reading the content here? You ask stupid questions that are more statements of bigoted opinions than anything else. Someone points you towards r/MRA, then you post there "So what's this subreddit all about?" Can you not think for yourself? Do a bit of research. It takes literally 5 seconds to google MRA and figure out which abbreviation it is. Are you here to learn, or do you just hate us because we don't agree…

Yeah, it was a joke. Obviously. Point is: marriage is a crock of shit. I don't need to get married to know that. The OP doesn't need to be in a LTR to realise it's shit either.

I find it helpful to simply remove the concept of love from your vocabulary. It serves no useful purpose, and is forced onto us from every conceivable angle that it has so many different meanings to have effectively reduced it to meaningless garbage. What you generally feel is infatuation, as "romantic love", your genetic need to reproduce. Then when you become close you become egoically attached. A mother's "unconditional love" for their child is a perfect example of extreme egoic attachment.

Well, it's all pointless in the end, but that doesn't mean it can't be enjoyable. Find something that gives you joy, that you can devote your time to, and be able to look back in a few years and see that you've made progress. This will help your sense of fulfillment. It could be an artistic skill, or a bucket list of activities or travel locations. If you're stagnating you may as well be dead, and you'll begin to feel that. Sometimes when I think of life's pointlessness I consider the other crea…

The fear of dying alone is a total fallacy. Much more rational is to have a fear of living a life with a nagging bitch who then turns into an old, cranky, nagging bitch.

It's not really about doing anything fundamentally differently. It's more a paradigm shift; a change in attitude and more subtle behaviours. My journey to MGTOW started with trying to understand women after realising a few ways in which they were fundamentally different. After reading a book that covered things from an evolutionary psychology perspective, and with the idea that there were also more complex cultural influences where culture evolves far more rapidly, I discovered this community an…

Awesome. It's always good to be reminded in any case, to just keep strengthening the belief. Actions are the ultimate tell though.

For me the key aspect of MGTOW is the shift of focus, more than any practical consequences. Sex is a dominant aspect of our nature and our culture. The only reason men and women pair up is to have sex, or ultimately, reproduce. But when you start looking at things critically, without the cloud of sexual desire, you might find things are not nearly as ideal as our culture would have us believe. We are sold the picture of "happily ever after" from a young age, and taught that we need certain thing…

First of all, you need new goals. Suffering is caused by expectations not being met, so get rid of all that and you'll be happy. Easier said than done, right? Not really. Stick around here, absorb what's being said about the true nature of women, read how men are being screwed over every day, and soon you will see that "being married with 2 kids" isn't nearly as perfect as it sounds, and that you'll be much happier doing your own thing. Be free, and enjoy the benefits.

Both are equally inaccurate, but at different extremes. Men do not think with their dicks and women do not think with their hearts. Both are simply acting out an instinctive urge. If anything it comes from the DNA, which is pretty much in every single fucking cell. It's all just stupid and grossly inaccurate labels.

How do you guys meet women and date? You're on the wrong subreddit to be asking these questions. MGTOW is not a forum for people who are unsuccessful with women, and certainly not to share fucking dating tips. It's for people who see through the cultural romantic lie and are not prepared to put up with all the shit that comes along with even the most well-intentioned of them.

Great example, thanks for sharing. Women act like this because they usually get away with it, thanks to all the pussy-whipped mutherfuckers out there.

You have some interesting views that are certainly not the norm in today's world. I'm not sure you've posted in the most appropriate subreddit, or what kind of response you're expecting here. While you have certain ideas about marriage that are mostly shaped by culture, the realities you'll face will certainly be very different. I offer you the perspective of this book (authored by a female) to reveal the nature which many here have witnessed first-hand, and why you'll encounter a lot of bittern…

If you read some experiences here and elsewhere you'll find even men in relationships are feeling similar or even worse levels of anguish. Being with women, and generally trying to please them, is fraught with anger and disappointment. When you recognise that you're driven only by evolutionary biological urges you take the first step towards overcoming them. You have already wasted much time and energy, and got your mind twisted in knots, over trying to get a chick. And the situation doesn't imp…

Ha! A while ago, before I discovered MGTOW, I sometimes used to miss having a girlfriend around. A quick wank later and I'm like, "nope, everything's just cool as it is." :)

Really? If you met someone born with no fingers could you make a reasonable assumption that they can't know how sensitive fingers are compared with other parts of their body?

Thanks for sharing this. I have similar views on it, especially when female genital mutilation in Africa hit the news a while ago. Everyone jumped on the condemnation bandwagon and I was like "double standards anyone.?" My first ever reddit comment was on this topic, and sharing my disdain for it. Got downvoted the fuck out. Sorry for those sans-foreskin that will never know what they're missing.

Doesn't really matter how long you've been here. Your principles are not very MGTOW if "everything you do is for women" and you don't care if you suffer any of the consequences that MGTOW see as "not worth the risk".

I wanted to kill myself once. But when I was young I formed some anti-suicide ideas (mostly due to the suicide of Kurt Cobain). So I told myself, if I feel this way every day for a year, without any doubts, I will do it. I've started counting a few times since then. Never got very far. Bad times come and go my friend.

What I meant is that I've more or less been living the lifestyle, although I'd never heard of "MGTOW" before a week ago. My use of the word "movement" was just to indicate the collection of ideas that MGTOW encompasses (and which I find interesting, especially how our roles as defined by culture are changing). Your comment evokes more an argument about semantics than anything else.
/r/MGTOW10/07/16 02:16 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
