In general women care about other things AFTER the physical side is satisfied. A 5'3 man is pretty much hardly ever going to get a date. Even from 5' women. (But he still should optimise to maximise his chances).

I hate it when surveys conflate actual sexual harassment where some freak tries to jack off on random passers by with "someone you didn't think was hot politely asked you out once"

I'm also in Poland and I think things are still much better here than the UK. And the Ukrainians and Belarusians here are helping to keep the femininity standards high.

No. It sounds repugnant, and I don't think anyone with any credibility would say this. Perhaps some random incel YouTube commenter, but no one established in the RP community. And I'm someone who listens to a few hours of RP stuff each day in the background as I work and travel.

I think she mentions women coming off worse in auto accidents and claims that crash test dummies are all male. Could it be that the dummies are androgenous but women are just slightly more fragile than men?

For example: Women get a raw deal in terms of harassment, rape, medical research of conditions affecting them, etc. Men get a raw deal in terms of harsher punishments for crimes, more likely to die or be injured at work, less likely to receive help in situations of homelessness or domestic abuse, etc. Thinking that your gender has it 100% worse in every area is not a helpful mindset to have.

At the gym I think you need an IOI. Headphones are general a "do not disturb" but a few times I've had mixed signals with this so I'm not sure if women are always conscious of that. Or maybe they think that it will deter men they're not interested in but not men they are interested in. More retarded things have been believed by women before.

I've been lifting since i was 13. My father was a shit example of what a man should be like as he was a professional victim. So I became a Nice Guy. And despite having initial attraction from women i could never escalate and ended up being a total simp. If your mind isn't in the right place then your body is just the icing and cherry on the dog turd.

Nah I just got in from a dance event and I'm pretty happy about my interactions with the girls there. The tip about meditation from the guy who wasn't just out to be an edgy asshat on reddit may have helped with this. I don't feel like I was particularly challenged tonight though so we will see.

Fortunately I get a lot of opportunity to interact with beautiful women. I just want to optimise my learning curve. The meditation before I go out seems promising.

My body is pretty good despite the repeated lockdowns here but I think my mental sharpness around catching myself losing frame is something I can work on. It tends to be a process of realising after the fact rather than averting it, unless presented with a situation similar to something I experienced before.

I haven't been to Bulgaria but the Bulgarian girls I've met have been pretty. Romania has lots of beautiful girls but I'm not sure if it's better than Poland (definitely equal though). Basically anywhere is better than the west. And for some reason it seems that most of the best looking girls don't emigrate. Not all. But I definitely noticed a difference in Poland vs meeting Polish girls in the UK (even though there were still some good looking Polish girls there). I have no explanation for this…

I'm 5'8 and don't list it. Girls sometimes ask me later how tall I am and are surprised because it's shorter than they expected, and probably than what they would have filtered out before meeting. And they're shit at spacial awareness.

I'm in Poland so central rather than eastern Europe but here I'd say women are much more feminine and generally less entitled and all around high quality. Most girls are at least bilingual. Some trilingual or quadrilingual. They're often very well educated too. They stay in shape and keep their hair long. Makeup is usually very subtle. I have a few friends who almost never wear makeup and their faces are works of art. The influx of Ukrainians and Belarusians is keeping the competition high towar…

I think plenty of men are also pretty clueless through. I think it's just that more men have exposure to lifting and martial arts that they realise you can't judge a book by the cover so much. I am not even that strong. I'm a jack of all trades pretty much. There are guys who are much shorter and smaller than me who can move a hell of a lot more than me. I know a 5'3 guy who is about 30% stronger than me on the 3 main lifts in powerlifting. And he doesn't even look that jacked.
/r/askTRP17/01/21 03:49 PM

Squats are not directly related to strength I could have used deadlifts, weighted pull-ups, or any other exercise we did. There's no point in arguing if you're going to just attribute a difference in ability to move something through a plane of motion totally to bone structure. Ultimately it doesn't matter. One person was able to move more than the other.

We aren't talking about top end athletes but the general population. I'm 5'7 with 24 years of lifting experience. A few years ago I went to the gym with my relatively untrained 6'6 housemate. I moved 3 times as much as him on the compound exercises. Yet to woman logic, short man weak.

I don't think the mindset of assuming an uphill battle is useful. Out of your league stuff happens all the time, not just about height. We can just enjoy it while it lasts. Every chick is a challenge. It's just a case of choosing chicks who are worth the investment.

I agree with this but I think it's more about what her friends think and the status of being with a tall guy that she is thinking about. Similar thing happened to me. Him being a ju-jitsu guy means she probably knows he can protect her. I've also noticed how surprised taller girls are when they realise than short guys can be strong and throw them around. They seem to assume that tall = strong / short = weak and then are shocked when that correlation doesn't necessarily work.

By realising you can have many, many soulmates in your life. No one is more special than another. Each of them are unique and different. And none can journey with you forever. So enjoy what you can while you can. And get used to letting go when it's time. This will enable you to love more and deeper than the myth ever could. Reminiscing, my heart is greatly warmed by every one those experiences with each of those women. Each of them were temporary but eternal too.

Therapy unpicked the huge interdependent network of limiting beliefs and thought patterns i had and was hugely influencial in turning my life around. I would not be the person I am today without it. I was in the UK and the methodology used was cognitive analytical therapy. It isn't used much outside of the UK AFAIK. My success rate improved when I grew my beard out. It's not hipster length or anything. It's still pretty short. But I have thick black hair so it's very obvious. I keep it pretty well groomed (barber visits every 3-4 weeks) but it's definitely longer than stubble, and liked more.

Most girls who like to be dominant also like to be dominated in my experience. I don't know why people view themselves as only one thing. In fact my education in being dominant was mostly by a tiny girl who loved to play dominant with me. She was very good and I let her. And she loved it when I turned things around on her. I learnt a lot from her about that dynamic and switching between them.

I had one girlfriend who was 2 inches taller than me and dated one girl recently who was 4 inches taller than me. (I'm 5'7. Both girls were very attractive and could easily date taller guys) On the Internet it's all a theoretical checkbox exercise for many people and this girl showed herself to be trash not worth crying over by her insensitivity and callousness. Thanks but I don't think of it as especially noble. I think I have these views as a result of having the opportunity to study it in depth at a secular university, whilst living in the real world. I'm heavily inspired by Dietrich Bonhoeffer's (a german pastor who was executed by the Nazis) ideas on religionless Christianity, and I hold that that is closer to the real thing than a systematised religion with a power structure and inward focused culture.

Well they have a very fixed view of sexual 'sin', misuse the 'unequally yoked' verse to be about relationships, and they don't even care what those verses were referring to in the first place. 21st century Western society is a far different world than 1st century Palestine where your parents decided who you would marry when you were 14. People of all faiths and none can learn something from the red pill. They just twist scriptures to make it fit a very narrow interpretation of the red pill and of their particular brand of Christianity. They do both badly as far as I can tell.

It still has some value. The trick with anything and anyone in RP is take what is useful to you. I don't 100% agree with anyone and don't need people to agree with me. Here's the answer.... Gather around everyone... The reason you expect the answer to be 1) simple and 2) only about what you say not how you are and 3) to be given to you personally rather than you having to holistically do the work yourself is why you don't get dates.

I generally think and do better in many areas when I'm retaining vs when I'm not. The stuff you see on YouTube about superpowers is just dumb. But when I jerk off it feels like I'm temporarily lobotomising part of my personality. Don't worry about what anyone else says. It's unfortunate that a few months ago when Rollo hosted a Rule Zero about this he just made it an echo chamber of people who never tried it. Adding someone like Elliot Hulse could have really balanced it out.

Training harder or heavier? The two don't necessarily mean the same thing. Take 20 rep squats for example. While I think the discomfort of intense training is very character building, you could instead just use a shit ton of volume at lower intensities to get an effect.

The very fact that you speak like that screams that you need professional help. You probably won't get it though. A slow withdrawal may work best. But it's almost impossible for a BPD person to do anything but hate you and want to destroy you once you've exited the pedestal they put you on. So prepare for a ton of shit, unfortunately and probably. Collect evidence proving that she felt good with you and that you haven't had sex yet. You may need to act a little longer to do this. Then blame your withdrawal on your own issues and tell her how special she is.

It means your words aren't like someone with no maladaption to trauma and are likely to hold you back in life if you don't address the underlying issue with the help of a properly qualified professional. Punishing your parents doesn't help you at all. It's not even in your own frame. It's reacting in theirs. If you need to cut them off it should be for your own health without thinking of punishing anyone. The way you've phrased this raises a bunch of red flags.

Yes absolutely, but I want to internalise it also. I don't want to be an actor. I want to heal my wounds and reprogram myself so that these actions and attitudes flow naturally.

I've definitely flipped between the two also. Either being seen as some dangerous beast who is gonna fuck them and leave them, or a puppy dog who will be faithful no matter what she does. I need to find the middle ground.

What exactly are the red flags? Is she not fully into you now? It will always only be your turn at best, no matter who you are with, so enjoy what you can when you can. It sounds like you have/had something you enjoy/enjoyed. And remember to use soft nexting well before you ever use a hard next.

I'd say the community has a lot of toxic ideas in it, but they aren't what the founders meant for it to be about. RP should be all about connection, more genuine than when we let our fantasies and societal expectations (and our reaction against them) dictate our beliefs and actions.

Take it as a lesson learnt as drop it. You probably lost this one. At least for now. She would need to contact you in the future on her own accord. So just forget her. Read TRM. Also it wasn't the fact you double texted but the neediness contained within it. End the neediness.

No tattoos, but I have tan skin from my mixed background and I have a resting murderer face that makes me basically look a bit like King Leonidas from 300, at least when I'm not mid bulking phase. And I don't usually wear a cape. Slightly different hair though but similar beard. I'm not that tall though (172cm) but the effect still works. I get told I look like a hitman by some people and that I should smile more, but I found out that some girls really get off on that. I've literally been told "…

And yet, this is the heart of my question. Why can I just not be of relationship value? But from other discussions I also acknowledge that wanting a LTR is antithetical to being in an LTR.
/r/askTRP06/12/20 02:43 PM

Not particularly. I'm more distant from a girl I was involved with for a few months, especially as she now has a new boyfriend, but I'm still friends with every girl in that scene that stuff happened with. Also, girls don't necessarily want to share their history with other girls if it makes them seem slutty. Just make sure they feel slutty with you :)

Interesting. My parents are of different races and cultures and I was brought up to be socially inept so I always felt like a stranger who didn't fit into the culture even in the UK. It makes me pretty versatile. I can survive just about anywhere. Im very good at languages (but Polish is a horribly difficult language to learn). But it also means that there is no culture that I'm going to just slip into.

Beard and cut bodyfat. The difference between 15% and 10% for me is significant. Bulk first if you want to, but just make a plan with a timeline and execute. Also, alternative day fasting worked great for me during the cutting phase but I definitely can't keep the same workout volume as when I eat every day. I can definitely keep muscle on it though. Stay away from sugars other than whole fruit for a while before attempting to fast though.

One more thing, how do you think the foreign guy in Poland would be affecting my short term and long term smv? I have done ideas but you seem to be pretty wise so I'd love to get your opinion.

I don't get that talk often... Ironically the conclusion that seems to have been reached is: I don't get the option of LTR because I'm still too wanting of an LTR. And that kills attraction so much that a girl would rather have an LTR with a guy with lower SMV who isn't looking for an LTR. Despite my trying really hard to avoid the talk and other obvious signs, the old training is still there. And I definitely have other problems but this one has been bugging me and this is the right space to as…

Thanks for the analysis. When it does break after a few bangs, is that always bad? And I think I need to examine the indirect messages I'm sending. Old habits die hard even if I got rid of the most obvious ones.

I used to worry about this (I'm the other douchebag referred to in the comments by the way). I was warned not to get involved with girls in the same scene as they know each other and I don't want to get a reputation for sleeping with lots of girls. In reality, the guys who do this and don't care what people think of them still have plenty of girls willing to have sex with them. Social proof > "he's just gonna use you for sex".
/r/askTRP06/12/20 06:00 AM
2

I get that. But I'm not a natural player. Some people are born players. Some achieve playership. Others have playership thrust upon them. I feel like I'm the latter. The girls who are attracted to me, really don't want me to give any sign that I'm more than some kind of brute who is good for sex and fun but nothing serious. Any sign of feelings valuing them as more than a body to dominate and have sex with, is incongruous. It's like some women see an exotic looking guy who is in shape, a dancer/…
/r/askTRP06/12/20 05:51 AM

The latter. But the latter seems to hapoen whether I bring romance or zero romance. Nothing lasts longer than a few months. So I feel confused. And I feel like the women I get attention from really, really don't want me to be any more than the casual sex guy. One girl once put her finger over my lips to get me to stfu the moment I said something that seemed to imply that I valued her as a person... It wasn't congruous with the role i was being cast for.

I think she's pretty much just become conscious of her hypergamy. All women are checking that they are with the best mate they can get. If that no longer is the case, the clock is ticking. So keep your value high and don't let it be the end of your world if it fails because she decides she needs to be poly or something.
/r/askTRP05/12/20 12:13 PM

No one is saying pull it out of your ass. I started dancing almost 6 years ago. It took me 3 years to get to the level where girls fought for opportunities to dance with me (depending on who else was there, of course). Building value takes time and consistency. Complaining about being low value on the SMP doesn't help you at all.
/r/askTRP04/12/20 05:24 PM

I'd say more women than that reject me for various arbitrary reasons outside of my control. Doesn't matter. If I don't give a shit about being rejected I'll quickly filter out to the low %s where things work.

My therapist got me standing up for myself, believing I had value, the first time in my life. All by asking me difficult and uncomfortable questions (which I would not and could not have thought of or thought through on my own at that point). She suspended any agenda or beliefs she had beyond helping me and was very professional in that regard. Some therapists are better than others. Find a good one who has experience in what you're going through.

Something I've realised is that the perfect love we find ourselves looking for is out there, but never all in one person. Different people at different times love us in different ways. Each aspect of love are pieces of something which, I feel from time to time when I stfu and really listen, is transcendent. Expecting one person to be capable of loving you perfectly whilst keeping the fantasy which drives sexual desire is a heavy expectation to place on that person. Be loved by your friends, fami…

I was in a similar position. A good therapist can help you re-process those traumas in a way in which they no longer hold you back. I was surprised how powerful a change could be made just by talking about my experiences and the therapist asking questions to make me think about it in ways I hadn't thought of before. If you can have therapy, definitely get therapy.

Recovery was 2 weeks after the last operation (1 week apart per eye) and then antibiotic and anti-inflamatory eye drops for a month afterwards. Lasik is an entirely different procedure so I can't comment on that. Even though I have foreign objects inside my eyes now, I think there was less damage to the eye from my surgery than cornea reshaping surgeries as only 3 small holes were required to be made.
/r/askTRP01/12/20 11:22 AM

I used to have to wear really thick glasses. I had intraocular lens surgery and my eyes are one of the things women love about me now. Your idea seems absolutely reasonable. Be aware of any risks they advise you about but it seems like a good idea to me. Good luck with it.

It's not worth it bro. Move on and move upwards. Every single girl I lost I ended up being grateful that I didn't get stuck with her. Even when I was so in love I felt like I could spend the rest of my life appreciating everything about her, including her faults. Maybe I could have. But it wasn't to be. The girl you're thinking of right now, is not the one. No girl is.

I know a lot of highly intelligent and physically attractive girls. I think it's a matter of their own expectations around where they find validation. If they were raised to think intellect was all that mattered, they will focus on that. If beauty, then that. Sometimes, they get a balanced perspective.

I'm 5'7, aged 37, and managed to pull a beautiful 23 year old 5'11 girl a few weeks ago. Height requirements might be what they write on their Tinder profiles, but if you're (perceived as) alpha enough, it doesn't stop stuff happening. Don't use height as an excuse. Build yourself in every area you can control, congratulate yourself on kicking ass in those domains, and then look for and act on the green lights girls will give you.

Perhaps. But it feels like a guessing game over whether the girl assumes exclusivity or not. Some do. Some don't. But the ones that do really, really do and think anything else is crazy.

Maybe because in her mind "he treats me like I'm not worth much" = "he must be much higher value than me... WANT" It works like this for a lot of women.

I think the femininity and beauty of the Ukrainian and Belarusian girls here is probably keeping them more feminine here for the moment. I think there will be a time when this no longer applies. I think the mix of church and politics and the recent attempt to overuse power to keep authority, is probably going to lead to the secularisation of Poland and it becoming like Czechia in the long term... With all its implications for society and intersexual dynamics.

I didn't. I just corrected her incorrect assumption that I hadn't been meeting for dates with anyone else. Saying nothing would have felt like deception and that feels like a feminine quality to me.

I agree with everything you say here. I think this is me just trying to do this without hurting anyone... In another comment I said why I have this complex. I didn't date for 2 years after breaking up with an ex in 2017 because I was so guilty about hurting her feelings. I'm much, much better now but the shadow still hangs over me a little. I was thoroughly blue pill when I moved here. Firmly open to dating for a relationship only. It was Polish women who were interested in sex with me, but not a relationship with me, which pushed me into exploring other approaches. And that's working better for me. Sometimes life closes the door you want and pushes you through a door you didn't think of even trying.

I have no intention of lying, and I will and have thrown away chances of sex by telling the truth when the conversation comes up. I just think it's difficult to bring up the conversation on the first date.

It was date 3 and she was talking about coming back to my place. She said something like she felt comfortable "because you're not seeing anyone else", and I didn't think sex was worth damaging my integrity by letting her proceed on a false assumption about exclusivity. I think there are some outside of those 2 categories. I have met girls who want sex from me but not me. But most are pretty repressed like category a... Also, the episode of Rule Zero about this topic was unfortunately a total echo chamber of people who didn't understand it because they never even tried. Hulse or someone else who could speak authoritatively could have taken it in a totally different direction.

Sure. So for me, masturbation (focusing on this as I didn't get much sex until very recently) served 2 purposes: Stress relief - grew up in an unstable household who were manipulative and made me feel like shit, and I ended up marrying a woman who was manipulative and made me feel like shit. I have never done it longer than 45 days. Its useful to reorientate your relationship with your horniness, especially if you treated it as an inconvenience for much of your life like i did. It has also helped me to be more aware of my own state of arousal which has helped me learn to delay orgasm during sex. I'm almost certain Elliot Hulse would have spoken on this topic at some point.

It might not be the ideal but it definitely is biblical. For those relying on Paul, I do wonder why his exhortation towards forsaking marriage and pursuing celibacy elsewhere is not given the same weight as his exhortations towards monogamy. My own point of view is that I don't think marriage /singleness / sexual ethics should be anywhere near the centre of the focus of one's life.
