I did when I was an active alcoholic. Now that I have been in recovery for 14 years I see that anything not done in moderation can be as harmful to the individual and society as almost any other thing. Marijuana not excluded. People that over eat and become diabetic, that is harmful to society as a whole too. It seems like pot smokers affect society the least, but I have seen some sad cases come into the rooms of recovery. Marijuana is not without consequence.
