I think that the dog example was the weakest link, since our society doesn't view dogs as sovereign entities. We train them – something we don't do with humans in a "healthy" relationship. A startup would be paying you equity, which is another form of payment. You can attract women that may not initially be available or attracted, but the idea behind this is to not pursue them in any dimension of a relationship that their reaction isn't "fuck yes" to.

I've been cheated on by two girls, and had my heart broken both times. Being and AFC "nice guy" I took both of the girls back, and tried it another umpteen times until I was devastated. The first girl was a couple years ago, the second girl was about a year ago. The worst part about it? The second girl is coming over in about ten minutes, and I miss her like crazy.
