Imagine if he had spent all that time and effort learning about himself and learning about women, instead of figuring out how to exploit and phish OkCupid...

No worries, I was just joking around because it didn't seem relevant.

Great moral to the story. How did sending those nudes work out, by the way?

Unless this is caused by a medical condition, you probably just need to practice speaking and speaking loudly. Look up some resources on public speaking and projecting your voice; there are probably YouTube videos out there that can give you some exercises to get you started. Also, stay hydrated and just make an effort to do more talking throughout your say.

Just decide what you want and how you feel, and say that. "I'm not looking for a serious committed relationship right now." "I'm looking for an awesome girl to go on adventures with and have awesome sex without any expectations on either end." "I'm open to forming some meaningful connections/relationships, but I believe in open relationships or non-monogamy." "I'm enjoying being single right now, but I'd eventually be open to something serious if I found the right person." "I'm not sure what kin…

I think you answered your own question; just be completely honest about what you want/don't want. Some girls won't want the same thing you do, and that's OK.

I can see how someone could get that impression; anyone with as much experience as Mystery or Tyler basically ignores rejections completely and just moves on... because rejections don't mean anything if you also have success. And if you ignore rejection, all that's left is success. If you approached 20 girls during a night out, and you went home with one of them and fucked them, would you consider the night a success or a failure? A small change in perspective can make all the difference!

Where did you ever get that idea to begin with? I think the real goal is to be able to quickly screen for attractive women who like you, and then be able to close with a high percentage of those women. You probably aren't attracted to 100% of women you see, so you can't expect to attract all of them either. It used to be that even if a girl was into me, I wouldn't realize it, or I'd be able to fuck it up somehow. Now, I can tell if a girl is on board fairly early in the interaction, and have a g…

When I read your post, I imagined Lord Byron sitting at an opulent desk, quill in hand, preparing to write a seductive letter... However, it is now the 21st century and pretty much everyone is used to near-instant-speed communication. Why would you want to write emails and letters when you can just go out and meet women in real life... and maybe start dating them immediately!

It isn't possible to control every situation. Not everyone is dating-compatible with everyone else. You can only have true "mastery" over yourself and your own feelings. Express those feelings honestly, and you're being true to yourself and respectful of others. There's absolutely nothing wrong with just telling a girl you'd rather be friends. Honesty is a sign of caring and compassion, in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, what type of girls are you attracted to, and what type of girls have you been attracting?

If the boyfriend is real, she's probably only "on the fence" because she hasn't had sex with you yet. Unless both parties are extremely conservative (which doesn't seem to be the case with her), pushing for some kind of serious-ish relationship before you've had sex with her is a great way to get rejected. Also, there's still a good chance that she's using you to make her boyfriend jealous or "get even" for something in that relationship. Ultimately, there's really no way for you to know for sur…

Reading through your original post, I was thinking "not that big of a deal for a first date you'll just fuck on the second date"... and then I read onward and learned of the second date. Either way, I don't think all is lost. It sounds like you made your intentions clear, so maybe she just wants to give it a little more time. However... next time you're in that situation and a girl says, "we aren't going to have sex," acknowledge it, but don't buy into it. Give some response that allows you to e…

So... examples of this? How could someone actually apply concept?
/r/seduction09/01/14 03:29 PM

Giving something you haven't got to someone who doesn't want it? Aside from the fact that it makes no sense, there is no way to apply or test that concept in real life. I agree that empathy is important, but you didn't really give any examples of what someone could actually do to get better results. Did you have any personal experiences or specific suggestions related to this concept?

Ideally, you make a connection with her on the first date so you have a good handle on her personality and you're comfortable with each other. At that point, who pays for what shouldn't really matter.

Ross Jeffries is like the Ron Jeremy of pickup: sure, he's doing it, but it just seems weird and uncomfortable. edit: also, this is a completely shitty clip.

There are a few schools of thought on this one. The way I see it, if I'm asking a girl out on a first date and I'm picking the place/activity, I'll pay. But don't make a big deal out of it. Any of the joking/clever comments might come off as making it into a bigger deal or of it. Usually what happens is the check comes, I go to pay, and the girl often offer to split the bill. I just say, "nah, I got this one" and continue with the conversation. The subtle implication of "this one" is that I will…

You mentioned in other comments that you have self-esteem issues related to a few different things. Ultimately, there are tons of girls that are attracted to many different types of guys, and it sounds like you're consistently taking action to improve yourself. The way I see it, having low self-esteem in your situation seems delusional! It's very difficult for people to accurately assess themselves, so if we're going to be "delusional" anyway, why not pick a delusion where we're attractive and a…

You have not tried every strategy... and trying a strategy and correctly executing a strategy are not the same thing. I don't know anything about football. If I went to play quarterback with a book of every possible football play and I tried to run each of the plays once, there's an excellent chance I would fail at all of them. It wouldn't be because the plays are worthless, it would be because I had never practiced the skills required to make the plays and didn't understand some underlying conc…

Yes. Invite them to something where there will be other friends present; this should make it obvious that it isn't a date. Then just don't kino, and they should get the idea that your interest in them is just friendly.

Do some research on controlling your internal state and anchoring. You can use visualization and conditioning to bring up the right emotional state to help you in any situation. Basic method: Think of a time when you felt socially comfortable and confident. Imagine looking at yourself in that situation, and then imagine stepping into your body so you can see what you saw, hear what your heard, and can feel the feelings of comfortable confidence in your body. As you begin to notice the feeling in…

You pretty much outlined all of your options. If you got the number right and she didn't respond, calling her isn't going to hurt your chances, but it probably won't help either. If you got the number wrong, calling won't make a difference either. Finding her on Facebook might make you look a little desperate, but you don't really have anything to lose, right?

You didn't fuck up terribly or anything. It's the type of second-date situation that comes up fairly commonly. Like you said, it comes down to a bit of inexperience. Sometimes, you go into a second date (where you didn't have sex on the first) and it's like some kind of full reset. Frustrating. You just have to initiate kino right from the start and go for a kiss as soon as humanly possible. Don't wait for the "right moment", just get it out of the way and usually the whole situation gets more c…

There are a few ways you could handle this. Your could say something like, "Facebook? But I don't even know you yet! You aren't trying to stalk me already, are you?" (or some equally silly response) Or you could ignore it and go on with the conversation. Or you could just say you never go I Facebook and go on with the conversation. Or you could let her add you on Facebook. It really depends what type of stuff you post. If you change your privacy settings so that your friend can't see who your ot…

You already had sex with her and it sounds like she's into you, so there's no inherent reason why it would fizzle over the spam of a week or two. I would just avoid too much boring texting during that time, and hit her up to hang out once time back in town. Edit: nice FR, by the way.

Yes, if you're getting comments like that, it's likely you're communicating in a way that makes you come off as insecure. One thing you can do is stop thinking about it in terms of "weaknesses." Everyone has things that they want to change about themselves, and you are actually taking steps to make that happen! And it sounds like you're excited about it, too! Good job! You aren't "weak"... but on the same note, realize that having a goal and accomplishing a goal are often viewed very differently…

It's only manipulation if your are being deceitful or dishonest. You want to meet new girls and have sex with them. You (hopefully) feel like this would be beneficial for both you and the girls. Is being able to effectively communicate your true feelings some sort of shady manipulation? It only feels like "cheating" because you may feel like you don't deserve to meet and have sex with awesome girls, or that doing so should be difficult. Give it a shot and have some adventures! If you don't like …

Nice job escalating! Hickeys: not a whole lot you can do, but on the up-side it shows pre-selection! (almost joking) The one thing that seems to help them go away faster is to rub them pretty hard a few times a day. If you "go for it" and she stops you or pushes your hand away obviously you should respect that boundary (even if it's just a temporary boundary)... however, there's one thing you can do that I've found can change a girl's mind pretty fast: take her hand and put it on your dick. It m…

The more intimidating your seem at first, the more exciting and mysterious it will be for girls when they realize that you're actually friendly, smart, and awesome. It's your job to approach girls and show this side if yourself by engaging them in a direct but friendly way. I've been told by girls that they thought I looked intimidating before I introduced myself, but they were surprised/excited once they got to know me a bit. Just get out there and act like it isn't an issue and it won't be... …

The Whatever guy's approaches in that video looked almost intentionally bad. Shaky body language, pensive vocal inflection, and not dressed well at all. Almost all if the attempts were with girls in groups (unlikely they'd say "yes" right away in front of friends/family) and yet all the girls he approached alone looked totally receptive despite the initial "no." If he had been trying at all or kept the conversations going, he probably would have been successful. Compare to their other video wher…

In my experience "I'm on my period" tends to be a true statement... it may or may not be LMR as well, but if they say it, it's probably true. They may be saying it because they are absolutely not comfortable having sex with someone (or someone new) while they're on their period, or they're letting you know because they don't know whether or not you would be comfortable continuing. The tried-and-true "I don't want to do anything you aren't comfortable with," followed by some honest communication …

Your line of thinking may not be helpful to your goals. For basically all girls, there is some situation or qualities in a guy that will make them want to have sex right away, even if they wouldn't normally do something like that. Just because they want to fuck you means they're a "slut" with STDs? Maybe you just built a ton of attraction, and they think you're super-special. Open your mind to new possibilities, sir!
