My last relationship, he cold approached me. But now he’s awaiting trial for white collar crime. But like it does work sometimes!

We're coming out of a pandemic so right now is literally the best time you can reinvent yourself completely. Who are some people you look up to? What healthy habits do they have? Incorporate those and try figuring out who you really are as a person. What are things you actually like about yourself? Highlight that and go from there.

Some ugly men I know work out and they have hobbies they love and a job they are passionate about. All of those dudes have 10/10 gf's or wives now.

My friend is in med school and she invited me to a galentines day party with her other med school friends. They were discussing who they would want as bfs/husbands and all were in agreement that he has to be college educated. I don’t really find it weird that a college educated person would also want to be with a college educated person, but like the disgust expressed at people not college educated was really weird and unsettling. And I think right now, less and less men are going to college and…

I have guys who DM me each time I post a selfie online. It's so annoying. Like I'm posting this for my makeup friends, not you.

Abortion isn't really that accessible depending on where you're at and it can also be expensive. There's nothing wrong with not wanting casual sex or waiting to have sex with someone if you don't know them that well. FDS is very toxic and awful but this mindset towards sex isn't that toxic as long as they don't make themselves out to be better than other people or put down people who do have casual sex.

Yeah the narrative really makes no sense. I’m friends with men who aren’t like movie star hunk handsome, but they all have long terms gf’s or are married. And in college they were able to get hookups easily. Some of my women friends have bf’s and husbands who aren’t like handsome dudes but they’re really happy and love them a lot. It really is about personality and that connection.

I like Coach Lee a lot. Anytime I feel myself spiraling, I watch his videos and calm down instantly. Matthew Hussey has some good stuff too. On TikTok, there’s this one guy called somerandomdude I think and he’s really sensible and realistic.

I guess? idk but that's just traditionally what a bad boy is. I guess a bad boy has more edge than a hipster? lol

Like a bad boy isn't necessarily an asshole. Bad boy's are usually bad because they go against societal expectations and follow their own path. They do what they want and it's usually non traditional jobs whether it be making music or doing something they are passionate about. At it's core, a bad boy is simply just someone who does not go along with the status quo. He's not someone who is mean to people or hurtful.

I usually try to avoid those who excessively read self help books or those trendy business books. Eventually, they all say the same thing and you get nothing new out of it. 48 Laws just seems exhausting to read and it's too much to keep track of too. Also seems like it makes you overthink all of your actions.

Push and pull with your emotions. Sudden shifts in affection/behavior towards you. Comments they say in a joking manner about you (like if they tell you to workout, compare you to other women, make fun of your looks, make fun of your goals. Sometimes these aren’t jokes but them trying to make you question yourself). I'd also look out for frequent cancellations, impossible/broken promises, if they still talk to or talk about women they had feelings for excessively (they're keeping their options o…

Dude...lots of women send letters to felons in jail. We literally had an internet meme of people swooning over that handsome felon. If you can match someone emotionally and help build a better life with them, then you're a good mate. Who cares if they had sex with a bunch of people before? Lol

I think you need a better friend group and better people to be around.

I don't get this mentality. If someone isn't in a relationship, then they are free to do what they want consensually. I've known of couples where one person is way more experienced than the other and it didn't really matter. That's in the past. What matters is how they act in the relationship.

When you stop chasing, that's when things happen! Thank you so much for your post. I got tired of the dating apps too and now I'm in the mind set of "if it happens it will happen." I start grad school next month and I'm pretty excited to start a new journey and make new friends. Right now, that is more than enough for me.

Therapy absolutely but I also think you have to be okay with not being the best or most unique person ever. Like you have to be realistic towards yourself. Not everyone will like you, not everyone will want you, and not everyone will want to talk to you for various reasons. And that's okay. Focus on the people who do like you and who do want to get to know you.

I don't like working but it is so important to have your own money and have your own safety net in case something happens in a relationship. Humans are dynamic. Just because someone adores you one day doesn't mean it will stay that way forever. Having your own career and your own life separate from your partner is so important in case that ever changes.

My Valentine's Day was really nice! And it wasn't only me he treated nicely. He treated everyone else nicely too. At the restaurant the hostess had to combine tables and he got up and helped her, he held doors open for other patrons, when we went to the bookstore afterwards he talked to the owner for a long while about nearly everything. It was just so amazing seeing that kindness being extended to others.
