There isn't a conflict here. Older men are more attractive than younger, while the reverse is true for women. Your preference for "pretty men" is not at all the norm, and you know this.

No I don't. Tattoos are a marker of short-sighted thinking and bad judgement. They portend promiscuity to the extent that promiscuity associates with short-sighted thinking and bad judgement.

Staying strong is a fight she can't force you to lose. Only you control how you judge things, and the way you judge affects how you feel. I encourage studying Stoicism, and there is a literal manual.

Under the law, there's already been equality for decades, which makes it obvious all these "movements" now are fishing for equity.

LOL I can't believe that's a real movie

Weird. Possibilities only increase as you get older and therefore wiser, wealthier, and more free.

This was based on 2019 data, which means pre-Corona. In fact, everything you've complained about not knowing would have been known if you'd just read the US News article or done a 1 minute google search as I did. But then I suppose you wouldn't have the pleasure of sitting here bitching, while people provide you answers to questions you're too lazy or incompetent to research yourself.

This is a hopeless case. Here she is describing a guy in completely positive terms, can't find a fault with his personality or lifestyle, admits he's "nice-looking," but all that is still not good enough because the Disney "tingles" aren't there. I encountered the same type of woman years ago, and she's still single today, waiting for that dream romance.

Damn. I never gave that movie much thought beyond "Oh it's just a comedy," but this was a very good perspective on it.

Isn't this as expected? Bill doesn't exactly look like a Chad. He was the most stereotypical nerd who likely got his head flushed in toilets. He must have been thrilled and "certainly surprised" that any random woman would be interested in him.

When someone says something objectionable, and I feel like responding, I ask myself, "What do I have to gain from this?" That's resulted in the elimination of almost all debates from my life.

Who the hell calls herself a philanthropist? What a pretentious thing to say. Also, a man possessing that very rare combination of characteristics, who also happens to be using Tinder, and lives near her, and is into her, is almost a statistical impossibility. At 29, it's a shame her mind hasn't aged half as quickly as her face.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen30/04/21 02:50 AM

It doesn't matter because I like to be financially independent. I don't want to use a woman's money, nor do I want her to use mine. Therefore, whether she's poor or rich is irrelevant.

Yes, the human brain is literally incapable of multi-tasking. What actually happens is that you shift your focus rapidly and repeatedly between the two things you're working on, much like when you're texting+driving. It's obvious how that leads to missing a lot of what's going on and opens the door to otherwise avoidable mishaps.

I'm not in favor of the provider role, but as a side note, you can definitely support a woman with a median salary. My dad's always been lower middle class, yet he's supported my mom (and me as a kid) with no problem. Most people just don't know how to manage their finances.

It'll get easier to channel out others' opinions as you get older. Therefore, time will eventually fix this, but for now develop a taste for things which don't contain propaganda. Tastes are acquired through force of habit. For instance, I couldn't stand Classical music until I'd listened to it a lot, and as I got used to it I ended up liking it. And there's no propaganda in Classical music.

So she's looking for a cuckold.

I would've stopped at "Sarcasm incarnate." There's hardly anything more annoying than a snarky bitch.

So basically all of the effort needs to come from him, since she's certainly not going to contribute

Why would anyone be proud of being chubby? More disgusting than some extra pounds is the type of person who glorifies their own faults and gets offended at the idea of self-improvement.

Women want a partner with all the things they themselves lack: confidence, money, stability, humor, etc. Makes sense that people only want what they don't already have. Which is why a typical man only wants sex/companionship from a woman.
/r/MGTOW03/02/21 10:11 PM
10

Smart. Women would benefit much from withholding sex until commitment. It would improve their own psyche and the way they're treated.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/21 01:10 AM
1

Yup. Good rule of thumb: don't tell anyone a secret bigger than the one they've told you. They need to know that if they open their mouth, they'll be hurt worse when you do the same.
/r/MGTOW02/02/21 02:21 PM

Why would anyone enjoy fantasizing about something they want no part of? It only sounds irrational trying to explain that.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/21 01:13 AM
3

Yup, that's how it goes. For most guys, it takes having to touch the rose ourselves before we believe it has thorns. What's important is that you don't recklessly grab at it again.
/r/MGTOW30/01/21 05:36 AM

People invariably say or do annoying things if they hang around long enough, and it usually doesn't take long at all. For me, peace is only possible alone, which means even when around others I have to mentally detach myself from the situation, and feel like more of an observer than a participant.

Pretty much everything Freud said is not considered true by modern psychology.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/21 05:14 PM

None. 1) I exercise because I've had injuries, and working out helps with the pain. 2) I dress well because it satisfies my sense of taste, which is old-fashioned 3) I work on my career because more money makes my life easier 4) My hobbies focus on learning and cultivating skills, as the challenge and accomplishment make life feel better

It's basic biology that no male wants to raise another's genes because then he can't pass on his own. Lions go so far as to eat the other guy's babies so the female can focus on making more with him.

As if people understand why they like the things they do.

Accountability contributes. Think of the most stereotypical child: laughing uninhibitedly, playing without a care, focused primarily on his own desires, and wishing for nothing but fun. Maturity is the opposite of that kid.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/21 02:48 AM

Then it's a wonder that comedians aren't swarmed by women. I've heard more than a few of them call this one a myth.

Wanting a man for his social standing and ability to provide is wanting to use him as a tool to give yourself a leg up in the world.

I've never heard of a society that benefited from a subset of angry, unproductive people.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/20 07:17 PM

Exactly. Imagine if they did this with other illnesses, insisting the voices in a schizophrenic's head are real because they feel real to him, and shaming everyone for doubting it.
/r/MGTOW31/12/20 06:15 PM
1

It's true for me. I'm much more confident around women than I used to be because my interest in finding a partner is much lower than it was before. It's common sense that people would be nervous about stuff they actually care about; it's like what you feel at a job interview for a position you really want.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/20 12:15 AM
3

So according to this, if we get a woman president, she can't be raped because she's the most powerful person on Earth.

Revolting. This guy deserves to feel guilty. Why was his sister's word worth everything to him, and his dad's word worth nothing?

I've had the same thoughts for several years and studied a lot of philosophy to try to find answers. There are no answers that satisfy. The best you can do is make peace with the fact that everything is pointless, because resisting it doesn't help either. Find something to master, like you said, and take whatever pleasure you can from that. That's all there is.

/r/MGTOW19/12/20 01:51 AM

This guy spent way too much money. A first date for me was always a drink and that's it. The rest of it conforms to expectations though.

Your boyfriends were in it for the sex, so they wanted it to be good right away. A man looking for a life partner values a more reserved sort of woman.

Middle-aged women tend to get annoyed really easily, and that makes interacting with them a chore. I'd appreciate them not having a stick up their butt.

When they're mad they're offended by everything you say. Then when you realize that and go silent they're offended that you're not saying anything.

Women like social things; just look at the careers they typically choose. Men are more abstract thinkers, more likely to be intrigued by hypotheticals like metaphysics and leveling schemes for their D&D character.

I wouldn't feel secure in this guy's position. I had several coworkers who spent nearly the entire day on Facebook, texting, etc., and that went fine for them for a couple years. But then the company fell on hard times, and guess who were the first people to get laid off? And what's worse, since they spent all that time doing nothing instead of developing skills that look good on a resume, it must make it extra hard to find another job. This guy's wife might be worried that he's digging himself …

The pictures are there, and they're not hard to find. I don't understand what point you're trying to make. Do you even know?

Well dude, I don't know what to tell you. It doesn't take me much scrolling to see cartoons and real photos of mixed couples involving white men. There was even some black/asian couples for some reason.

It's there if you scroll down.

Google's algorithm must take words like "white woman" and automatically apply a racial context instead of just a physical description. They've probably determined that's the more popular intended context when people search. Typing "happy white man" got me pictures of white guys with black girls too.

They seek them, yes, but I haven't met a young woman who's attracted to those qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/20 06:25 AM

We all use the same definition. A man who's responsible, caring, and honest. The very qualities that young women find boring.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/20 05:59 AM

He also didn't say all women. The absence of a qualifier implies a generalized statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/20 05:56 AM

What's also partially to blame is this pervasive attitude you get from adults when you're an impressionable kid: "Follow your dreams! You can be whatever you want!" I heard this a whole damn lot throughout childhood. Even my teachers tried to convince me to be a writer. I chose electrical engineering instead, since I'd rather not be, you know, poor.
/r/MGTOW16/09/20 11:09 PM
2

They can't conceive that they might need more than pussy to get a man. When you talk about what they bring to the table, I've only heard them fret over one thing: "Am I pretty enough?"
/r/MGTOW14/09/20 05:38 AM
7

He should refer to her as "my current ho" to remind her of all she can ever be.
/r/MGTOW14/09/20 03:23 AM

Lol it's not a matter of what's logical. Most people have an instinctive need to find a mate and breed. Don't forget we're animals and operate largely at nature's whim.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/20 07:15 AM
1

I don't think so. I agree that women generally have different tastes in women, but I don't think the difference is about masculinity. Even if you look at the list of most popular pornstars, you'll notice a good variety of body types and faces.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/20 06:15 AM

I'm not political anymore, but liberals definitely annoy me more. You can't express any thought that runs counter to their mainstream without being assigned a dismissive label (sexist, homophobic, racist, etc). It's become impossible to have a normal conversation with ardent liberals, or to even coexist in many spaces.
/r/MGTOW05/09/20 06:07 PM

Eh, at one time, but the prospect of dominating and killing people doesn't do much for me anymore. Plus, I've been warned to stop.

This emotional diarrhea is typical of women's reasoning.
/r/MGTOW03/09/20 07:04 PM

There are people I occasionally talk to, but I only consider my parents to be my friends. They're the only people who actually care unconditionally, and I can't overstate how much that means to me.

Lol It's like listening to a kid talking smack, while knowing they'd be done with one slap. You can't even be mad at them, the irony is too cute. It does prove again how childish they are.
/r/MGTOW27/08/20 08:57 PM

Did she eat all the punctuation too?
/r/MGTOW20/08/20 12:10 AM

Especially since there's no practical difference between marriage and living together. The only difference of any significance is that with marriage there are legal obligations designed to help the woman. It's ridiculous that people still do this.
/r/MGTOW16/08/20 01:37 AM
3

How is thin a privilege when it's entirely a result of how much you eat?
/r/MGTOW15/08/20 12:45 AM
5

If that's legit, I'm impressed. Women feel entitled because, unlike this kid, many guys are desperately slobbering over them for whatever they can get.
/r/MGTOW14/08/20 07:41 AM
4

As odd as it sounds, I'd be a bit grateful to the rich guy. Regardless of his motivations, he didn't steal her from you because it's not like it was a kidnapping. Instead, what he did functioned as a test of her love and loyalty to you, and she failed that test. That saves you from wasting any more time with her. Then as a bonus, she gets dumped by him, lol.
/r/MGTOW05/08/20 06:34 PM
2

Unbelievable that he even needs to ask the question. Guys like this are the reason women feel entitled to act like self-absorbed toddlers.
/r/MGTOW05/08/20 02:19 AM
3

When people lack an argument, they seek to discredit so that an argument is unnecessary. They're interested in winning the argument, rather than being right. Don't bother with childish people like that.
/r/MGTOW04/08/20 05:02 PM

He's a childish and myopic moron, which I view as a mental handicap. Rather than anger, he deserves pity for having to live life as an idiot.
/r/MGTOW01/08/20 06:43 AM

/r/MGTOW29/07/20 04:09 AM

She did it because she doesn't trust him, but if that's the case, why get in the car with him at all? He could easily kill her, and that plate number wouldn't help one bit.
/r/MGTOW26/07/20 02:16 AM
5

A few months. I can determine whether I like someone after a couple substantive conversations, but that in itself doesn't make them relationship material. It takes many weeks of constant interaction to observe habits and patterns, then decide how I feel about them; that's the critical factor.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/20 06:22 PM
7

Lol yes, around here rent is basically that entire income.

They look externally for everything, even their "self"-esteem
/r/MGTOW22/07/20 06:17 AM
4

Exactly. I'll never understand why middle-class people go out of their way to defend the super-rich. The more I've read about the history of the world (and especially the U.S.), the more I've realized how rich people have been screwing us over from the beginning, and I mean *hard*.
/r/MGTOW22/07/20 06:03 AM

"We can't help you if you don't tell us what's wrong." "If you don't know what it is, then I'm not going to tell you!"
/r/MGTOW22/07/20 05:51 AM

I've even tried getting back into religion a few times in recent years, partly because I wanted to meet the right kind of women for me. But I just can't make myself have religious faith anymore, so I've given up on it, and I'm stuck being a conservative agnostic with thus very low prospects of finding anyone like me. Still, I'm now a lot more comfortable with the idea of staying single, so I say screw it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/20 11:03 PM

He should've just called the police in the beginning and left her alone. I don't understand why people stand there arguing instead of taking action. Her shrieking and crying is so annoying to listen to. When she threatened suicide, my thought was, "Good, then the noise will be over."
/r/PussyPassDenied21/07/20 07:17 PM

As a disclaimer, valuing truth is basically the only moral I have. With that in mind, yes, I think what you're doing is wrong.
