Yeah, you can say that. All I'm saying is that humans are social animals and the vast majority of us crave some level of social acceptance. It doesn't have to be literally the only thing. But obviously most normal people care about their personal relationships and how they're seen by others in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/23 08:03 PM
1

I mean yeah, but there are definitely a lot of dudes who measure their self-worth by how many women they've fucked. It may not be the only factor, obviously. But it factors in. I mean even in general society we judge people on N counts. A dude who is a known player is often seen as more valuable and conversely the whole "lol virgin" concept exists as well. In most common social circumstances, how much and who you fuck is absolutely used as a form of social validation or credit, which most crave …

I'm not red pill, but the funny thing is that red pill is primarily dudes just studying what asshole guys do that works in regards to pulling women. Unless they're super obvious about it, I don't see how you could tell the difference between a RP guy and a standard douchebag without looking at their browser history. Humans are observant. And when they see others behave a certain way and get what they want, it's not rocket science that they imitate these behaviors themselves. Shit, most animals a…

Makes sense. As a dude, we don't get compliments as much, but it's nice to hear. (Whether it be a flirty comment from someone you're attracted to, or the flip-side and all things inbetween.) Nice little ego boost pick me up. However, when you're being literally harassed by someone who has a significant physical power advantage over you? Yeah, things start getting dicey. And while, in theory this could happen to a guy, the vast vast majority of this scenario is generally going to be it to a woman…

No. I'm saying you can use condoms in that potential year interim for HIV to show up in tests if you want to be safe. Also I'd like a source for this data on all this about testing. It was to my understanding that they run you through the full gamut when they test you. I've done it several times. They even give you a little sheet showing the results. So I'm not sure where you're coming from with this "testing is unreliable" angle.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 08:30 PM

Condoms exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 07:24 PM

True to a degree, but also the forum you're on will decide who's responding and thus the answers you're going to hear.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 07:14 PM

There are obviously degrees. That's what I was referring to with the "bicycle" comment. More that the whole virginal purity obsession is ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 07:11 PM

It depends on the woman, I suppose. What's your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/23 07:08 PM

I addressed that. "This seems to me to be more of an online thing." *basically there is a highly vocal online crowd. But they don't represent most dudes.

It's not just him. Sometimes that chemistry is just electric, and if I liked you a lot before, and then we just had fantastic sex? My response is, "Holy fuck do not let this fish go." I know a lot of dudes on here are crazy obsessed with their women being virgins, but that always struck me as a self-confidence issue. As long as we don't have to worry about STDs being in the picture, (which are easily tested for) I really don't mind if you've fucked other people in the past. I have too. Who cares…

Because I disagree that guys create a "secret transactional relationship?" I confess that I can't speak for literally all dudes, but certainly no guy I know pulls this shit that I know of. I could just be ignorant, sure. But it seems like a convenient excuse for women to just pull out of their pocket if they don't like a guy who happens to be nice. "Oh he's not nice, he's a just a Nice Guy..." (Whose crime is what again? He showed interest and was nice to you, and then you told him you weren't i…

It's almost like they do it because it works. While women keep telling other men to just be their genuine kind and respectful self. And then when men do that they call them "Nice Guys" and keep fucking assholes and bemoan, "Where have all the good men gone?" I mean, I think it's kind of obvious... I chose my flair for a reason. I don't like to believe chivalry is entirely dead, but TRP didn't just sprout from nothing either. It's an emotional soup we all find ourselves in. I find hardcore TRP an…

It's wild, right? Like why would any self-respecting person have sex with someone who treats them like garbage? Like not trying to dunk on anyone's fetish or anything. I just don't get it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/23 04:39 AM
1

So if a guy is kind to a girl he likes, he's an asshole until he professes his feelings? And once he does, he's a "Nice Guy TM" if she doesn't feel the same? Am I understanding correctly? *typo
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/23 02:54 PM
11

I mean, yes? The same reason why a lot of rom-coms have bumbling goofy "average guys" (read: not particularly attractive) winning the super gorgeous girlfriend in the end through the power of love and friendship. Regardless of our gender, the vast majority of us are closer to the median and of course people want to believe they deserve the perfect partner. That's the fantasy. What people do to achieve these "perfect" partners is more the question... But the desire and fantasy aspect of it isn't …

Lol I love how incel has just become a blanket term for, "I don't like this person." I guess it's not dissimilar from "Nice Guy." Way I see it, an incel is someone trying to get laid but is unsuccessful. They could be Jesus Christ on Earth or Hitler reincarnated. Their moral character does not matter. Or their opinion on a movie I like. Or their political views. Doesn't matter. On the flip side, a nice guy is just a guy who is nice. Lol if a friend of mine starts dating a guy and asks my opinion…

Lol I love how you so quickly eliminated any and all sense of credibility you might have initially had.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 06:46 AM

I mean that kind of goes into an entirely different thing where dudes get shamed for being virgins. (Like incel is amongst the most common of insults against a guy you don't like. Even when it doesn't make sense lol. Like Criston Cole if you watch HotD...) And it's strange because I remember losing mine was like the most amazing experience, and simultaneously was almost like disappointing. Like it's certainly good and I enjoy having it, but it gets overhyped. It's like bacon. And most dudes I've…

Lol I got it. It's more the whole "last word" thing, which we both know is silly. There was a miscommunication. It's cool lol. *particularly you trying to start arguments where this is none. Let it go.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 02:36 PM

I did. Obviously I meant like a definitive statement about men in general. It was unclear in your initial comment. Clarity could help your arguments in the future. Thanks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 01:58 PM
1

That's fair enough I suppose. And no you did not, that was just the impression/implication I got even if you didn't state it directly. (The whole "it's creepy, sadistic, abusive, scary" thing sounded like a definite statement.) Anyway, cheers for the interesting discussion at least lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 01:11 PM
1

Yes, the potential is there. I suppose that depends on how you view a red flag lol? It's certainly something to be aware of, absolutely. But there are a lot of guys with generally pure motives who may feel attracted to a girl who may be somewhat insecure. The perceived insecurity can trigger that societal male urge to protect or help women for example. The predators do exist, but that's not all guys. (I hope and believe it is not) I guess I'm just saying you're painting with a bit of a broad bru…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 01:06 PM
1

Sure, and I kind of get it. But I'd argue it's very much a potential red flag. Yeah, there are absolutely horrible men who specifically target these types of women, but to automatically dismiss interest as creepy, scary, sadistic, abusive, etc, is a bit far I'd say. *which maybe that's not quite what you meant, in which case there was just a bit of a misunderstanding here. I do generally agree with your OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 12:52 PM
1

Okay? Because "predators" go after these women, should we just assume that anyone who shows interest is also a predator? Do we not allow these women to date at all? Otherwise idk what exactly your point is. *Also lol I was not implying I am some dark enigma or something. Just referencing a stereotype.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/22 03:30 AM
2

Lol you make it sound so weird, but yeah, the shy maybe a little awkward wallflower girl can be cute and intriguing. Absolutely common that a guy might want to pursue and find out who this chick is. It's almost a mystery! Whereas, yeah there is the tall, dark, enigma man who can be hot and attractive. But if they're giving off anxiety vibes that can be the death knell of that interest in seconds.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 11:42 AM
9

You underestimate how repulsive anxiety is to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 11:32 AM
2

Lol I'm unsure if they were being sarcastic or not. Which I suppose says something.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/22 11:11 AM
24

And everyone is the hero of their own story. So men who have trouble dating become creeps, losers, and "Nice Guys," because it's the men who are obviously the problem. Cue misandry. Then on the flip side, you get men being put down by women, even when they think they're doing things right, so clearly the women are evil bitches and cunts. Cue misogyny. I feel like there is a severe lack of empathy on either side of the equation, and nobody really benefits from the arrangement. And it primarily re…

Not your friend. You were being an asshole for no reason and I called you on it. Lol get fucked. Guessing that's kinda difficult for you though. :/
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 08:41 AM
1

I'm telling you it is a significant difference. Yeah it's true that there are some women who just do not find the bald look attractive. But it's a similar thing with fat. Balding tends to imply you don't care about your appearance. And just aesthetically bald can look really good on a guy. And definitely better than balding in most cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 12:34 AM
1

Bald is clean shaven. Balding is when you have hair but it's receding and/or have a bald spot.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 12:27 AM
2

I think it really depends on the guy. But generally I'd say that's accurate. A bald guy has to put in effort to keep their head shaved. Shows that they care about their appearance. (And it can be incredibly hot if the guy is in shape as well.) Being fat just indicates laziness and gluttony. *Also bald is different from balding. If we're talking balding vs fat, yeah fat is usually gonna win there.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 12:18 AM
1

Sure. But would you find it a turn-off if you were dating him?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 12:13 AM

I mean, if you look at the pic, it's pretty obvious he's bald. Also why would you even say this? What a fucking pathetic and shitty comment.

Lol I fear to ask what subs those are. But yeah, reddit itself is a bizarre place. Much as I love to kill time on it...
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 09:53 AM
5

Lol I feel like we've been on different subs... It is true that there are decent people willing to talk in good faith on here as well tho. But I feel like they're the exceptions... Idk. It's a weird variety of folks. Some are cool. Some less so. But it's usually at least interesting for sure lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 09:46 AM

They're literally not. But for serious? So you can talk shit and then it's over when you say so? Not how this works. You're pure emotion and near zero practical know-how. Little guy, you gotta get over yourself. Realize that there is a lot of life you've yet to experience. And also, get off this sub. Frankly I shouldn't be here either. It does no good for anybody. But certainly not for you. It is mostly toxic as all hell... So yeah, now the conversation is over bud. Wish you all the best and god…

Can you read? I literally said she left me. I did love her and I was actually super torn up about it for a good minute. But life goes on, and yes, there have been girls since. Do I love her currently? No. I mean that was a while ago, but I don't like wish ill upon her either. We both got our own lives to deal with. (And we were both pretty damn immature lol...) This isn't a difficult concept, but the responses I'm getting from you are concerning... It's not all that hard to understand. I was jus…

Uh, yeah. The relationship ended. I moved on. Is this really that difficult for you to understand?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:17 AM
2

Lol look at this dude acting like he knows my life. But I actually cared about her a lot. The relationship didn't work out. She left me and I'm honestly glad she did, because with wisdom and the time required, she was a nightmare and I got out the winner in that scenario. And I've been with several women since who I've also very much cared for. Some were better relationships than others, but we did have intimacy and past partners didn't play into that. I gotta tell you homie, being with one pers…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 05:12 AM

I honestly recommend it. The kind of people this sub attracts are generally toxic. Either gender. For me, I've been here long enough and it's such a trainwreck that it's hard to look away. The drama becomes a sort of addiction... But I rarely exit a thread on here feeling better about life lol...
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 04:31 AM

Lol I mean, maybe? Does that have anything to do with their comment though?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 04:19 AM
0

I mean, don't you though? I've had sex with multiple people. I also remember the intimacy of being with one. And those two situations are not exclusive anyway. Sex can still be intimate even if they're not the only person you've ever been with. What is this lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/22 04:06 AM
0

Might not be, I haven't read the Quran. Regardless that shit does happen in Middle Eastern predominantly Muslim countries. So go off about evil Western porn that harms your delicate sensibilities, but don't act like the Middle East is somehow ethically superior to the West. You have no moral high ground to stand on homie. And this isn't an "East vs West" thing either. People are fucked up everywhere. Just saying I'll take the porn over that fucked up shit being normalized.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 06:09 AM
1

I'll take all of that shit you listed over living in a society where we "honor kill" women for the crime of being raped.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 01:51 AM
1

Idk man that sounds pretty gay.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/22 01:32 AM
2

Didn't it kind of always though? Like yeah, it's become more mainstream but TRP always attracted sexually frustrated men who have "seen the light," (like that's literally the whole reason for the name...) and that light tends to be kinda misogynistic. (Women are children and the like...) Has it really changed in any significant way?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/22 11:14 PM
1

Me neither. And I'm saying that doesn't happen with any real frequency lol. (Dick size anyway. Height is a bit more obvious)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/22 12:09 AM
1

Are you a guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 11:31 PM
1

I mean, yeah. To an extent. But it's also not like a dude's dick is actually on display either. Guys can be sensitive about it, sure, but what I'm saying is it is a thing that rarely happens. Especially with how homophobic a lot of dudes are. If you're talking about another guy's dick, that means you're thinking about his dick, which is kinda gay. (I'm bi, so I don't care, but I understand other straight men do.)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 10:58 PM
6

Lol you hear guys mocking dick? Why would a presumably straight dude know about another man's dick? *the only thing I can think of is if a guy is being a douche and radiating little dick energy someone might crack a joke like "Homie's probably got a tiny dick lol." And even that isn't like common... Straight men generally do not care about other men's dicks.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 10:39 PM
4

I mean, I'm not saying men never talk shit about women's appearances at all, and you are right that women are more physically objectified. Just that my experience with women was insane with the amount of cattiness. The dudes I've worked with generally just don't care. Maybe mention if a woman is particularly hot. But women are just brutal lol...
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 09:21 PM
2

Idk. I've worked with a lot of men and I've worked with a lot of women. Which group do you think talked more shit about the opposite sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 08:26 PM
23

I bet a lot more people who have not had good experience with the opposite sex don't become mass shooters though.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/22 08:14 PM
1

I get where you're coming from, and honestly it's not an awful take on first glance. Desire for sex/relationship inspiring a desire for self-improvement. Sounds good. Ish. But a couple things. First, that self-improvement should really be done for the self. Becoming desirable is a side effect. But also that, frankly it's a tad condescending and insensitive coming from a woman. I saw in another comment you're in shape and that's great. But you don't have to be to easily find sex and relationships…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/22 11:40 AM
6

Yeah, I don't care if you're both drunk, or how good the chemistry is, how long it's been since you had sex, etc., it is absolutely never okay for a girl to rape a guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/22 09:27 AM
0

Thank God for good old conservative values I guess. Hallelujah.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/22 04:47 PM
1

And while, yes, you're probably fucked if you don't fight back. You're definitely fucked if you do. It's not right that women can get away with it, but smartest thing to do as a dude is deescalate and remove yourself from that nightmare situation asap.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 07:33 AM

I love drinking me some meths.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/22 07:20 AM

I'm a feminist in the traditional sense in that women deserve equal rights to men. Idk where that got lost exactly but I fit in with exactly neither side these days lol. I'm either a chauvinist ass or a feminazi bitch depending on who you talk to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/22 09:14 AM

Nice! Glad to hear it. Even through all the craziness things turned out all right.

Lol that is good at least. :)
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/22 12:57 PM

Damn... If I said it was probably good you got out before, change that to a definite. I'm sorry you had to go through that. We all got problems. But that dude's wasn't yours to bear. Some guys absolutely suck. Not all. But some. And he's part of that. Again sorry you even had to go through that. That is fucking rough and you did the right thing...
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/22 12:54 PM

I totally believe your account. But how many women do you think he talked to before you? How afraid do you think he was that you would leave him for someone "better" if he didn't pull the shit he did? And for the record, yes I believe it's highly probable he was actually an asshole and you getting out when you did was a good thing. I can easily side with you. Fuck that guy. I'm mostly getting at an understanding point. Understand why he would behave the way he did. Idk your relationship. But shi…

Man here. It matters very little. I've had some amazing sex with some crazy fucking women. I look at it like I got out easy and I never want to see them again. (And I'm grateful I don't have to...) If a girl wants to tell me I'm the best she's ever had, cool. It's a little bit of an ego boost and feels good to hear. It's also a pretty subjective and emotional thing. As long as we're both enjoying it in the moment and it feels like "making love" as opposed to simple fucking? (Though a more quick …

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/22 11:11 AM

But what if the decent guy didn't disappear? And I say this as a dude who had an awful abusive stepdad (who I honestly wish disappeared sooner lol) but a decent stepmom who stuck around, did the best she could, and we get along quite well these days... I can kinda get both sides here. *Also the stepdad was "decent" initially...

The funny thing is that a lot of us wouldn't have even known if he hadn't pulled that ridiculous stunt at the Oscar's. Like I didn't know his wife was fucking their son's friend. I didn't know she humiliated him the way she did with that entanglement bullshit, while he sits there trying to act like "Haha yeah lol this is cool, our crazy relationship right?" while his wife is literally saying she needed to fuck some younger guy to improve the relationship, and how much "healing him healed her." Sure, I'm just saying it's not like an exclusive thing to women. It can be a bummer for dudes too.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 10:16 PM
4

Right. I don't have friends who do that, (or again, if they do, it's not something I am at all aware of) nor do I or have I ever done anything like that. And I'm not antagonistic towards women. I haven't noticed a woman covering her drink around me specifically but I'm not against the practice and I actually have watched women's drinks myself. (Generally one of those things you just passively watch out for anyway)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 07:48 PM
1

Yes. That's why I said, "As I am sure you're aware," right before the part you quoted... It should be obvious but if you hadn't noticed there are a lot of oblivious people on here... Idk why you seem to think that was some kind of dunk lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 06:27 PM
3

Is it? None of my friends are rapists or stalkers as far as I know. And if any of them are, they certainly don't go around announcing it. "Bro, you know that bitch I've been stalking? Finally raped her!" I guess the thing is, I totally understand that there are men who do these things. It's horrible. And I would never attempt to delegitimize the emotional effects it has on women. But what am I supposed to do when it's not even in my sphere? Should the nonviolent men start roving around in packs …

I honestly don't give a shit about n counts, personally. And I'd say generally it's not really anyone's business but your own. (Some do kiss and tell, and if you're sleeping around a lot in your direct social circle that's probably gonna get out...) You still gotta be careful with protection in regards to STDs or pregnancy, but that affects both genders as well. (Tho women do obviously bear the brunt of a pregnancy and let's assume the man isn't a deadbeat who would run, but that's beside the po…

I very much agree. I feel like a major problem, at least on this sub, is it often seems like a gender warfare oppression Olympics thing. Men complaining about their struggles, women responding with their own struggles, and rather than try to actually understand the other sex, people are on this constant "Well actually, our side has it worse... how dare you complain?" cycle over and over again... People immediately get all bitter and shitty and defensive. Because that's super helpful. Kind of a s…

It's an interesting thing. I won't dispute that some women feel used after sex if her partner was just going for a lay. But I would also introduce that that's not a gender exclusive thing. It's not as commonly talked about, but it's not like dudes can't be into somebody, fuck, and have those warm feelies and genuinely desire something more. And that empty feeling of, oh I guess it was just sex... And I find it interesting because we don't really talk about it. Dudes want to fuck, they break wome…

That's wild. I hadn't realized perms made a come back. I don't generally hang out with Zoomers much lol. What's funny is the other day I was thinking about the movie Due Date, where there is a running gag about Zach Galifinakis's character having a ridiculous perm. RDJ's character literally calls him out on it at one point. That was like 2010 though, so if middle parts can become cool, why not perms? Time makes fools of us all I suppose...

Insinuating that I'm childish is also insulting. You should work on yourself as well. And I don't disagree. To your last question, yes, obviously that reflects badly on them. But cheating is not the same as consensual sex within a relationship or between two single parties.

But like I said, a person's past isn't something that bothers me. As long as when we're together, if it has that spark and they're feeling it similar to how I do, that's all I need. And also yeah, a lot of dudes support men who are falsely accused, because it is genuinely a terrifying thing for men. It ruins lives. And they are men. That's generally true. It's a tragedy that rape happens at all. Like I get that it's difficult for women to report themselves, absolutely. Most people are aware of that. If we're talking about something like pornhub I'd imagine the site pays for the porn and makes their money through the traffic and ad revenue that results. For sure, I am by no means saying porn addiction is not a problem. It is, and should be dealt with appropriately if your porn use is so severe that you literally can't stop. Like I said though, I don't think it is always a negative impact on a relationship. We each have our own opinions on that, and knowing you're religious certainly explains your position more clearly. I don't think that's true. *the porn always being negative thing. (Also good for you, btw) But so do you just mean watching porn while single as a dealbreaker, or only if they continue to do so during the relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 03:06 AM
1

Huh. I guess I jumped to conclusions a bit. You're more informed than I thought and sounds like you got a relatively healthy sex life with your girl. But yeah, I agree dudes need to know this stuff. Because a fuckton of guys are completely clueless. (And as for needing or not needing the vibrator, I've never needed to use one to get her off in bed either, but it is something I've heard and read from several women's accounts. So, grain of salt I guess.) I take back the DJ Khaled comment lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/22 12:02 AM

That's fair. I can see where you're coming from. (Though I would say no need to feel inadequate compared to a dildo lol. No dude can compete with that size wize and obviously women know that.)
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 10:23 PM
1

Sure. The vast majority of dudes watch porn at least occasionally though. You're kinda limiting your options there rather significantly if that's a deal breaker for you. Unless of course, like I said in another comment, if they develop an addiction or something otherwise that has a negative effect on the relationship. That's definitely an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 10:18 PM
1

I mean, you're not necessarily there all the time. Like if you're out of town and she's alone and horny: vibrator. Anyway, while I get what you're saying it's also worth noting that some women literally can't orgasm from dick alone. (Or mouth for that matter. You kinda got that DJ Khaled vibe though so I'm guessing you don't do that.) It's not like a personal dig against you if a girl needs a toy to help her finish.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 10:14 PM

Isn't it though? It's a fake recreation of the actual act of recreation. But the vast majority of men would be able to tell the difference. It isn't the same with this supposed Android toy. Men are dumb, but not that dumb lol. I see it as like a higher version of porn and/or any other sex toy. Does the trick when the genuine article isn't available. But disregarding rape, I just don't see a problem with consenting adults having as much or as little sex as they want. (Cheating is also pretty fucked up though.) I think it is worth noting that, for the vast majority of men, it is purely fantasy. Kind of like women and rape fantasies. It doesn't mean that you actually would or would even want to do it for real. Yes. Some men are rapists. Those guys are monsters. But the idea of a hate fuck is more passing fancy than anything to freak out about for most people. "I don't like that person, but damn they are hot," is pretty much the gist of it. *typo

I'm gonna say yes then. I like most accents anyway haha.

Is it a sexy accent?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/21 02:22 AM

This is blatantly untrue. Yes, a lot of dudes' standards are lower compared to most women. However, men can absolutely find a woman they may not have been interested in initially more attractive by virtue of their personality. There is more nuance here than you're giving credit.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/21 12:11 AM
7

That’s an inaccurate comparison though. All things being equal, most men will take the sane reserved hot woman over the crazy abusive one. It is not the same if you flip the genders.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/21 01:37 AM
2

That was an interesting segue into a political/corporate bootlicking thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/21 01:32 AM
11

Yeah lol. I mean, it does happen, but if as a grown ass man you are like regularly getting into serious physical altercations with people, that is a problem and is not the standard male experience... (obviously not counting if you’re like a bouncer or something, or otherwise can be expected to do so as part of your job)
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/21 08:34 PM

Well I can tell you that attitude isn’t exactly charming and certainly won’t win you any friends. And if I know anything about women, it’s that they abhor the whole self pity thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 09:33 PM
1

Maybe you’re just an asshole, idk.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 09:29 PM

I’m not saying women are perfect and of course they can be as bad as men, but what you describe doesn’t sound normal at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 09:15 PM

I’m 1/4 Irish, 1/4 Scottish, 1/2 Native American, and 100% Kobe Beef.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 08:56 PM

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that this situation sounds like an extreme outlier... Most women do not do that generally. Like I don’t care how unattractive you are, you may get treated a little worse, (like a reverse halo effect) but the shit you describe is not at all normal... *It is also possible you are being grossly over sensitive and finding slights that aren’t actually there.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 08:52 PM

Hm. Sorry. Hope nobody tells you about climate change I guess...

I’m shaming women for slut shaming women. It’s different lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:10 AM

Yeah. It’s a debate sub. It’s going to attract people with strong positions on either side.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:09 AM

I got that. It was a metaphor.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:07 AM

I know. And women help perpetuate it even more than men do. Doesn’t make them right though.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:07 AM
1

Lol I mean, if it’s a teddy bear that isn’t hurting anyone. Who cares? Also probably worth noting that this sub is not really representative of most men. (And women for that matter.) There are still plenty of dudes who want the “traditional family unit.” Just less of them here.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:05 AM
1

Again, I agree that people should be clear in their intentions. And I see what you’re saying. Sure, sex can be just awesome and passionate and fucking incredible with a person you truly love. But casual sex is cool too. It’s a different thing, but hey, you get your rocks off, and I don’t feel it devalues sex as a whole. You may feel otherwise.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:01 AM
1

Yes and no. Yes people have a tendency to suck, (and in the literal sense as well, god bless them for it) and yeah people can be disrespectful. I still don’t agree that the act of sex is a bad thing; something to look down upon. Some men and many women may think so. That’s unfortunate. But hey, we only got one life to live. That just seems like such small potatoes to me. If a romantic partner does wrong by you, yeah that sucks, but pick yourself up, there are more. And why even waste your time c…

/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 12:14 AM

I am not surprised. Women are well known for their cattyness in that sense. It’s sexist as shit lol, but you are doing it to yourselves. Damn I’m on mobile so I don’t have the link on hand, but if you’ve seen Mean Girls, Tina Fey has a fantastic speech near the end. The final point being essentially that you slut shame and disrespect each other, so how do you expect men to feel different. You’re setting the discourse. I probably butchered that, but it is a great scene. (Also that movie is fuckin…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 12:11 AM

It depends on the person and the circumstance. But I generally aim to please. But the decision to be or not to be exclusive should be made apparent imo. As long as both parties are on the same page it’s fine. Just don’t say you want to be an exclusive thing and then cheat.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 12:05 AM
1

I’m sorry that happened to you. And you’re entitled to those beliefs. But other people are also allowed to challenge them. It’s subjective and rather hateful in your case.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:57 PM
1

Well yeah, assuming it was established that you’re exclusive, that would be a dick move on his part.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:54 PM
1

Ok. And just because you were raised to believe that, you’ve never questioned it?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:52 PM
1

I mean, throughout history people have warred, raped, murdered, and pillaged. Those things aren’t cool just because they used to be (and still are to an extent) common place.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:51 PM
1

I never said I didn’t. The burden of proof is on you lol. You’re the one making the claim...
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:49 PM
1

You can respect yourself and still choose to engage in recreational sex. There is nothing wrong with that. Also I love this all or nothing thing you got going. Any woman who has sex out of wedlock is apparently an absolute slut who puts out for literally anyone lol. Nothing sexist or fucked up here...
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:46 PM
1

I mean there are dudes that still do that. Chivalry isn’t entirely dead. And I don’t understand the question. How does a woman’s sexual history have any relevance to the respect they’re owed?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:45 PM
2

I disagree wholeheartedly. If a person of either gender wants to have sex, that’s their choice and it doesn’t negatively reflect upon them. Obviously should be done with care, some form of protection should be used, etc. Sex in and of itself has zero moral value. It’s just sex. And there is no objective reasoning for slut shaming that I am aware of. Just kind of makes you come across a bitch, frankly.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:41 PM
2

I was able to deduce that. Just funny that you’re like “well not to get religious or anything” and then all but quote Christian doctrine directly. Also the irony of you calling me a douche. Coming from a woman who openly and unabashedly slut shames (like seriously what the fuck lol?), that is rich.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 11:07 PM
2

God you are ignorant. And oblivious. And willfully so. It’s okay to not know something. But you have access to the internet at the bare minimum. And you are presumably an adult person. I shouldn’t have to spoon feed you. Come on lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 10:49 PM
2

And I wonder why you deliberately chose 2000 years ago... Probably a coincidence I suppose. Because Hammurabi totally didn’t establish a code of law like 2000 years before that or anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 09:52 PM
1

Lol are you seriously trying to say we were more civilized 2000 years ago?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 09:16 PM
2

Oh damn. Do I see a romantic comedy brewing here?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 09:00 PM
2

Maybe I’m just hungry, but part of me is like, “Yeah, I’d probably blow that dude just for that breakfast.” That shit sounds delicious.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 08:57 PM
2

I don’t think you’re being dishonest. I believe that you believe what you are saying. But you gotta see how assuming all men without amazing perfect relationships are bad, women who have sex outside of relationships are bad (aka slut shaming), men who sleep with women outside of relationships are bad (fuckboi shaming? Idk), and that good people match up 100% of the time, are all pretty flawed and problematic beliefs right?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/21 08:49 PM

Come on. Every dude knows it’s only gay if the balls touch.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 05:40 AM

But what if it was Ryan Reynolds? Guy is 43, but good lord is he handsome. Would you turn him down on account of "creepiness?" *Also not available. Him and Blake Lively seem to have a good thing. But for the sake of argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/20 06:26 PM

Lol I don't even want kids, but it wouldn't be an instant disqualifier for me. I mean, it's not ideal, but if I really liked the girl, I'd at least give it a shot.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/20 04:39 PM

I'm just trying to picture a dick as thick as a coke can. That is like a natural wonder.

Literally? Lol were you fucking the Hulk?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/20 09:03 AM

It is somewhat frustrating, sure. Be nice to be able to be fully emotional or "real" with a woman without having to lose "frame" as RP'ers would put it. But I also understand there are simple realities of human relations. Like I said I don't cry much honestly. So not a huge deal to me personally. But eh, whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 07:39 AM
4

No reason to hate women. They can't help what they are, any more than men can. I don't think women are any less well meaning in general than men are. There are just some things instinctual to the sexes. (Primarily speaking.) It's not bad or good. Not worthy of hate. It just is.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 07:02 AM
5

This entire thread has made this pretty clear. (Obvious, but still) Some are offering circumstances where it's okay, rules, etc. But honestly just don't cry in front of a woman you're in any way romantically involved. Sometimes dudes gotta cry, (I rarely do, mostly movies and music if I'm really drunk lol) that's ok. Just don't do it in front of women. If you really can't hold it in, remove yourself from the situation, get it out, and get on with your day.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/20 03:04 AM
1

I mean the first part is kinda true. Most people fuck up at least a little in their late teens to early 20's. Whether or not that's "okay" Is a matter of opinion, which vary widely. Idk what else there is to say on the subject.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/20 12:57 PM

Your frontal lobe (responsible for decision making processes and perception of consequence) doesn't finish developing until age 25 for most. Yes you can be responsible at 18. I never said you couldn't. You asked a question and I gave a plausible answer dude.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/20 11:58 AM

Well, they are young, assuming 18-ish, so it's not unexpected they'd make bad decisions. As an 18 year old dude I made dumbass choices. So I don't entirely blame them. If you saw Hot Girls Wanted, I think it's clear they glamorize the life they'll have, and in many cases make it hard to back out. So, it happens.

In what way is not having kids selfish? You didn't really explain that. I see having more means for myself in addition to not adding to overpopulation as both beIng positive, non selfish things. It's not like I'm taking a life from a kid who hasn't been conceived yet. My initial point bringing up selfishness was your emphasis on having kids so that they can take care of you when you're older. Forcing life upon someone for your own gain. Sounds like a crappy thing to do. And while it may be stati…

Given the fucked up state of the world, it's not a given that your kid will have a good life and be happy. (Especially with climate change, we've got some troubling times around the corner...) There's nothing selfless about getting pregnant, so acting like your some kind of hero by procreating is laughable. Not to mention, no matter how good your parenting is, there's always a chance your kid will end being a murderer later in life. Or a rapist or a pedophile. All kinds of evil. So bringing anot…

Lol, I feel bad for your kids. But it's cute that you feel the need to play God and wrest consciousness from the ether so that you got someone to take care of you in your old age. (And spoiler alert: there's a good chance they will not. Especially given how selfish you apparently are.)

Schumer has her moments, but she also steals material (There's a bit she stole from Zach Galifianakis on youtube and it's literally word for word. The gall. And her delivery is so awful lol) so I don't really count her. And while I disagree women are inherently unfunny, I'm also really struggling to think of a good female stand up comic. And I watch a lot of stand up.

I believe your anecdote, but that dude is an extreme outlier. So many guys would be tripping over each other for a girl like that. One guy with insane standards does not invalidate the rest of the more reasonable types.

When you got dudes like Henry Caville somewhat concerned about pursuing women on account of potentially being accused of something, you know there's an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/20 03:37 AM

My favorite is the Aziz Ansari one where the girl literally blew him twice in the same night after dinner and still later tried to claim he forced himself on her. *I encourage anyone to read the actual article from the woman herself. It reads more like disappointment that Aziz wasn't how she imagined him and then she regretted doing anything with him. (Which never progressed beyond oral) But all it takes is the accusation to fuck up a dude's reputation.

Damn, I watched that doc a while ago and fucking knew that dude was guilty! His whole demeanor just felt way too casual and like dudebro-ish for a guy "wrongfully" convicted of his ex's murder. And given the whole doc is from the family's perspective and the friend trying to help them. (Who from what I'm reading now has lied and misrepresented info apparently) Like I didn't know, but just had that hunch of "Oh he totally fucking did it." Interesting to learn I was right on that.

I mean, I agree with you that it is rather comical, but those two situations also aren't contradictory with the statement of the OP. Yes, woman are fucking a lot more now. (Or at least don't feel as shamed for it.) Good for them. But if we're talking about hypergamy, it's that a majority of women are fucking a lot more with a minority of men. 80/20 rule and all that. So the dudes getting the shit end of the stick are kind of unhappy. I try not to take sides, really. (I am a guy though, so I obvi…

Hey I had a pretty good run going in my youth where I was miserable and still managed to fuck. (Often above my self-perceived SMV weightclass.) Happy and confident is one way to go about it. My manager is cheating on her husband (father of her children) with a crazy chauvanist homeless druggy gutter rat who threatened to smash in her and her kids' faces at one point. One example, yeah. But this same manager has preached to me how women really do just want a good man. Her husband seems like a good dude. I have more examples, but I don't feel like elaborating. I legitimately have no idea what you're trying to say here. The joke was that you bragged about how you "poached" (or saved, whatever) your current bf from his super evil mega bitch gf, and then immediately talked shit on other women who do the same thing. That's it.

I have only ever broken up one relationship, as I stole my boyfriend right now from his crazy, abusive, manipulative ex. Yeah, you go gurl! However, most women I know who make a habit of this kind of behavior usually get toddler syndrome. Have you ever seen a child take a toy from another child, not because they want it, but because they don't want the other child to play with it? It's like that, except you're the toy. And when she gets bored she'll chuck you right back in the toy box. Yeah, fuc…

Salt and/or a multivitamin. I tend to go with the second. You can do a "pure" fast with just water. But cramps from lack of sodium can become an issue. I didn't get them when I was younger, but yeah. It's a thing. Idk how many calories exactly are in a multivitamin but it's not significant anyway.

Fucking so much this. As someone who often practices Intermittent Fasting, and who occasionally straight up water fasts for up to three weeks, it's not that goddamn hard. Yeah, you're hungry at first, but that's because you're so used to, both socially and biologically, constantly stuffing your face. You will not fucking starve if you don't eat every 3 goddamn hours. Not eating just requires you not to fucking eat. Keeping a steady workout regiment requires an active commitment to staying in sha…

I think the main thing here is that this is anecdotal. That's awesome if you have a boss that is cool about it and/or the laws where you live allow you to make that situation work. But that is obviously not the case for every woman.

Probably worth mentioning that the kind of guy who turns to the RP has probably been "settling" for most of his life. If they're going to all the trouble of learning the philosophy, getting in shape, etc, might as well shoot for the Stacy types who never would have given them the time of day before. Regardless, there will always be those folks who feel the need to solely punch above their weight class. Hot women, hot men, ugly men, ugly women. They come in all kinds.

I think your last point is key. Internet arguments between people entrenched in their beliefs almost never end with one side conceding. I think it's absolutely possible. Sure, there's generally a correlation, but you can fall for a girl you weren't initially super sprung over physically. I mean, there's probably a minimum level of basic attractiveness necessary there. But it can and does happen.

I don't necessarily disagree with any of that. My main point was that "RP theory isn't based on legitimate observations of human nature," simply isn't true. It's just a philosophy for successfully attracting women developed by men, primarily because the advice women give is often useless, if not actively detrimental. And men buy into it because it works. Not on every woman, but enough of them. *And note that I'm specifically talking about the practical application. Not the whole "women are liter…

To sum it up, RP theory isn't based on legitimate observations of human nature. It's just a desperate attempt to come up with "scientific" explanations for their insecurities. It's not? Then why does it work? I won't argue that there are likely a lot of insecure men who use RP tactics, but that's not really surprising. Insecure men are viewed as less attractive by women. Some men are naturally more "Alpha," and are pretty much RP by nature. The ones who aren't have to learn it in order to be mor…

Lets be real, a hopeless actual incel won't improve as much as people say just from a haircut... Wasn't suggesting that. You consider it, but that's not how sexual attractiveness works. It is based of biological indicators that drive certain responses in the brain. Oh, look. We've got a smartass. I'm aware things like tits and ass ratio have a general biological correlation as far as things we tend to find sexually attractive. Sure, there are objective qualities to attractiveness. But I've always considered the whole /10 system to be a personal thing. I guess if you want to put it that way. That's more subjective though. And I don't think most women think that way in concrete terms when it comes to dating. They may know that they shouldn't have that cake because it's more calories than they need, but it's no big deal to treat themselves for whatever the reason may be. Women who date assholes rationalize their behavior and don't literally think "I'm dating a piece of shit, but fuck it. He kind of treats me like crap and that turns me on for so…

While I do agree that men can and do enjoy romance in film in the broader sense, 500 Days of Summer was kind of an anomaly that seemingly marketed itself as your standard rom-com fare (with maybe a hint of drama), but then totally subverted the genre in a way that resonated with a lot of men.

Well that's fucked and I can definitely see how that might taint one's perspective... I actually like smaller breasts, but flat vs small is a significant difference. I agree. I think the general sentiment is often said by guys on the more cynical side, and/or ones who have been hurt. I would say yes and no. Men generally don't have as many options as women do, and thus are more susceptible to the whole "One-itis" thing. And speaking of, I don't think that's solely motivated by fear. More naturally Blue-leaning men can and do genuinely love their SO. Women who aren't in that situation are more likely to see men as replaceable. It's not that they "can't love" per se, they just have more options to love, and move on easier because they know there's tons more dudes for them out …

I think this idea of "protecting someone's emotions" in a courtroom is unnecessary to begin with. The law is the law. Bringing emotions into it goes against the idea of due process. That's why jurors are supposed to make judgements based on evidence and not their feelings. Obviously, you're not allowed to badger or verbally harass a victim/witness, but you shouldn't have to tiptoe around shit for fear of offending them either.

Okay. That wasn't entirely clear in your post, but alright. Though I do find the double-standard there rather odd. Point is that, subsequent libel suit or not, it still does significant damage to a man's reputation just being accused. Whereas women can generally accuse any number of men scot-free. Because someone who engages in casual sex outside of a relationship is more likely to engage in it while in one. Best indicator of future behavior is past behavior. Because what I wrote is p. obvious, but I can see the misunderstanding if you inserted an extra ''like'' and turned my statement into ''I like orgasms like a man''. Or "I like sex and orgasms like a man'' -- the plural really changes the meaning of the sentence, there. I was using orgasm as a verb. No, I got it now. The first time was unclear. It is in plainer sight, however, than n-count. …

I'm not talking about ''liking'' orgasms, obviously. Well it clearly wasn't obvious, or else you wouldn't have had to clarify. I think you missed the point of this thread. I'm not denying that the correlation is there/for the purposes of this thread that's irrelevant. I'm asking about why anyone would bother to use a hidden piece of information to work out a piece of information that's generally in plain sight. Crazy is harder to hide than n-count. That's it. For the correct use of obviously: Ob…

Yes. Every slut was a virgin once. Obviously. The point I'm making is that you identify yourself as being "crazy," which can really mean a large number of things anyway, and you happen to have a high n-count. Correlation may not necessarily equal causation, but the correlation is there. The fact that you were a virgin at one point is entirely moot. And yes, we all like sex and orgasms. That's not a feature unique to you, or men.

But it's 30+ now... Are you seeing the irony here? There is a correlation between "crazy" and high n-count. You may not have had it at the time, but you're clearly pre-disposed to it. It's not a bad thing or a good thing. It just is.

Thank you! I only wish and hope that more women feel this way. Niceness shouldn't be a negative quality, and I really dislike this idea I see everywhere from women that "Nice guys" are always of the pathetic type. I just genuinely enjoy being nice to people lol. I think that's how everyone should be. I especially like being nice (or funny, or charming, etc...) to a girl I'm interested in, but I in no way think that means she owes me anything. Any guy can, and should, be nice. It just takes more …

Not to mention, my life would a bit more complicated if I just stopped talking to roughly 50% of the people I deal with in my life. lol

lol well that's just ridiculous. It is rather comical if he literally mentioned his being nice as like a qualifying factor, as if he's like trying to guilt you... I had heard there are actually guys that think like this, (i.e. being nice earns them a relationship, as opposed to just being nice because it's right; the relationship being secondary.) but to hear of one actually verbalizing it like this is astounding lol.

You're reading what you want or expect to hear and not what I'm actually writing. First off, I already said that looks are not the only or even main thing I'm interested in when it comes to a woman I would want to have a relationship with. And yes, I am aware that confident doesn't have to be "loud." In fact, I originally put "Confident" in quotes to get that point across. Doesn't have to be, but can be. And Confident can mean strong-willed can mean stubborn, which is not something most guys wou…

I disagree. I understand that you might feel that way, but it's not the reality of the situation. I personally don't expect a woman to lower her standards for me, and I think a guy who does is kind of ridiculous, or at least misled. The things we want are different. Sex being one of them. Unless you're like a total player, most guys are down to have sex with a woman who's at least moderately attractive. Woman are more choosy, simply because they can be. They're the commodity. (To reduce it to si…

They can. But if that same guy instead had severe anxiety, for example, most women wouldn't even consider him. Basically, personality matters a lot more to women than it does to men. A guy can become interested in a girl solely due to her looks, and that may lead to a relationship, even if her actual personality ends up being less than stellar. Women are extremely good at sniffing out insecurities, and if they detect it on a guy, he's out of the running immediately, handsome or not. (Unless it's…

You initial comment implied that attractive men have the same options an attractive woman has. That is simply not the case. Sure, attractiveness helps for both genders, but attractive men do not draw in women effortlessly the same way an attractive woman does. That was all I was saying.

Not really. All I'm saying is that you can be a pretty atrocious person in every sense of the word and there are more than a few dudes who would tolerate it if A) you are hot and B) putting out. If that is really so unbelievable to you, you seem to have a very fundamental misunderstanding of men...

An attractive woman can have an absolutely shit personality, but if she's hot, there are a ton of guys willing to put up with it. The opposite is not true for a man. A woman can get remarkably far just on her looks.

Yeah, because that's historically proven to be an effective tactic. And approach anxiety is nerve-wracking as it is for just casual stuff; walking up to a chick and just being like "Hey, you wanna fuck?" You'd have to be an idiot to think any self-respecting woman would say yes to that. And the man then looks like a creep when she declines him. It's fairly obvious why guys don't approach so bluntly...

Sorry, but I gotta call BS on this one. The idea that a man's attractiveness carries the same weight that it does on a woman is just ridiculous.

It's not exactly the same though. Most women tend to have the luxury of choice in a way most men don't. But yeah, you do learn. A lack of confidence is a deal-breaker for a good majority of women, and there isn't really much you can do if you don't have it, other than try to build it. Which as I already said can be quite difficult. I don't hate all women for it. I just have a better understanding of what they tend to value in a guy than I did 10 years ago.

I can personally attest that it's not all guys. I would be lying if I said there isn't a selfish element to wanting to be with someone. I think that much is obvious. (For either gender) But the most hurtful "losses" I've suffered were when I did truly care for the girl. Ideally, you want to be in a relationship where you both care about/love each other relatively equally. Unfortunately, that situation is rather rare. It's easy to become jaded about the whole thing and just stop caring. Why put y…

Sure, and I did make the point to put "asshole" in quotes. And to mention they don't necessarily have to be a jerk. And yeah, I do think the pedestal is an issue for a lot of guys. It just sucks being the guy scorned, whether the other guy is an asshole or not. And it cuts a bit deeper when they are.

Well, if everyone followed it, it wouldn't be an issue. Go figure.

While I do think he exaggerates and is going pretty heavy on the hyperbole, along with some crude language... There is some validity there. Girls consistently go for the confident jocky type over the genuinely sweet (not in that fawning sense) guy who is a bit more humble 9 times out 10, assuming looks are similar. Hell, the second guy could be the more physically attractive one and confidence still wins out most always. The guy doesn't have to be a total asshole, no, but he can be, and he'll st…

Hey, I fucking love my Honda. She's my old Black Beauty. "Queen Latifa", I like to call her. Plus, a Lambo would totally get stolen or otherwise vandalized in my neighborhood. Either way, I prefer my Honda to having no car at all. We are talking about cars, right?
