A 2014 article, that simply says "when you adjust for relevant factors it narrows". Any when I follow the source I find: What the 2009 Labor Department study showed was that when the proper controls are in place, the unexplained (adjusted) wage gap is somewhere between 4.8 and 7 cents. The source I shared is from 2019 and shows a 3.1%-6.6% less average pay for women, so more generous than the source you provided, and the gap still exits in both.
