"Do not text alot and never ever talk in real life" ??? It looks like you're advising people to neglect developing social skills. Then you tell them to "approach the subject first" but like, approach and then do what? Blow her kisses and flex your muscles? Do some sorta mating dance? Talking is good, so long as the content and tone of your speech is interesting and attractive. "for jaw, always mew...chew falim sugarless gum" How about just eat some real whole foods? People get weak jaw muscles f…

A few obvious facts to consider 1. Men die before women of the same generation, on average, leaving a surplus of old widows competing with spinsters for surviving men. 2. Less attractive women are more likely to use personals ads, because they are not getting as many offers in person. 3. Old and unattractive women get lonely too. Why should a woman have "qualms about looking for a serious relationship" at any age? Do you want them to just give up and join a coven or a nunnery? Why is a man who d…

The frame of this comment is ridiculous in the same way that blaming men for "the patriarchy" is ridiculous. Women from the 60s up to now have had preferences, and men supported and enabled them, similar to how men acquire most positions of power in governments and corporations and women supported and enabled us. Most of us are complicit in the social structures around us. The risks of casual sex have decreased, thus some men and women both choose to have more casual sex. You say the value of wo…

If you have "plenty of other options", why did you hire a prostitute?

Good that he left her so they can both move on to better matches. I am curious about whether OP will prioritise pursuing women with relatable hobbies if he ever wants another LTR. Maybe he would be better off dating professional athletes, bodybuilders, mechanics, nutritionists, and entrepreneurs?

Are you the only butt of jokes, or is everyone taking and giving each other shit? Are the girls the only people dissing you, or you tolerate it from the boys and give the girls power by taking their negs more seriously? If everyone gets it equally and you are especially thin skinned, adapt to the group or find new friends. If you're the only butt of every joke, they might be stuck in a childish habit, so let each offender know privately that you find their digs to be rude and/or hurtful. Ask the…

I skimmed the first bit of your manuscript there and one particularly dubious thing stood out to me. "You can’t fully know a person until after you’ve had sex with them anyway." First of all it's not clear to me that you can ever fully know another person, but if you could- People don't usually bang their close friends to know them better, so why would you need to rush into banging your dates to understand them? There are plenty of reasons for which people are guarded or dishonest, and they don'…

Why do you "get banned from said app eventually"?

I know it sucks when your relatives fail to live up to your social standards, but I don't think you're right about this double standard. There are rude people of both sexes, and just because your sister is rude and you're not doesn't mean that generalizes to most women and most men. You did your part by expressing your perspective to her, and you can continue to judge her for it privately. No need to spin this into some bitter indictment against all women or a crusade to change the minds of wome…

The title says it's copied and pasted, so if you want to ask questions of the original poster you'd have to search for the original post.

Sounds like you've been on some kind of journey in your values and your perspective of TRP. What it means to YOU might have evolved, but there's no need to suggest that the rest of us are at the same point as you or even going in the same direction. I think you're right that sexual success shouldn't be the ultimate goal in someone's life, but there's no need to expand the scope of TRP until it encompasses your whole life philosophy.

I used to be a maltheist too, so I'll throw out a few ideas that have helped me diversify my existential dread. First of all, you seem to be fixating on the idea of intelligent design by a monotheistic creator. It seems like you aren't committed to any particular scripture, so why would you believe in intelligent design, and if you do, why only one designer? From my perspective, I'm a product of billions of years of evolution. That process has no values. What survives long enough to reproduce ge…

There's nothing pathetic about being open about your beliefs. Speech is always a risk, but so is silence, and you'll be judged either way. TRP isn't a secret society trying to trick the world into rewarding us with status and sex, it's about understanding patterns in society and behavior, and using that understanding to improve ourselves and achieve our desired outcomes. If someone feels secure and confident enough to discuss good ideas openly and respectfully, that should be applauded.

Find an activity that interests you. Community gardening, programming, PC gaming, toastmasters, activism groups, volunteer work for a charity, political campaign etc. After the pandemic you could add things like sports, music festivals, academics, etc. There are plenty of people who are in a similar situation and life goes on despite adapting to the pandemic. This is probably a perfect time to start looking for leads. If there's nothing going on in your community, you can try starting a club wit…

Our lifetime is limited and the more time we spend in the wrong relationships, the less time we have for the best ones. As much as they build experience, they can build baggage and regret. The end of a relationship that was going nowhere provides opportunity to work on yourself and maximise the potential for the next one. Get smarter, stronger, smoother. Learn to be okay with being alone so you project comfort and confidence. Next time you date, don't pursue someone if you cannot see potential f…

If you don't care what your cat thinks of you, then why did you get a cat? Manage your framing, keep things in perspective, but you don't need to go full sociopath and pretend other people's feelings and opinions don't matter. Smalltalk and superficial presentation might land an easy lay but empathy is essential to building meaningful connections.

Is the baggy pants thing just you hating the fashion of a sub-culture? I mean, do you want Trump to tell everyone to dress like Jidenna or are you hoping for young men to embrace skintight yoga pants? Maybe you're just that "pants on the ground" guy from American Idol.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
