Isn’t this sub called “allpilldebate”? Weird that everyone who isn’t red or black pilled gets downvoted and raged at

Okay. Goodbye.

There were more ugly men in old movies than ugly women. Not sure what point you’re trying to make.
/r/AllPillDebate04/11/23 11:30 PM

I don’t think you understand what I’m saying. Being willing to fuck an average woman because you’re desperate for intimacy/touch starved does not exclude you from being someone who is otherwise disrespectful of, hateful towards, or controlling of women’s appearances/choices. Yes, women criticize other women too, but are you really going to tell me that for most of history up until the last few decades (maybe less) that men were not the main source of women’s oppression?
/r/AllPillDebate04/11/23 10:54 PM
1

I don’t see how that proves your point. Married men are not immune from criticizing, shaming, and policing women’s bodies. Just because a man will fuck an ugly woman does not mean he will hesitate to loudly or publicly scrutinize what women look like or what they do or how they behave.
/r/AllPillDebate04/11/23 10:23 PM

Because women would rather be alone than be with a man they don’t like/aren’t attracted to. Men are desperate for women, but the inverse isn’t true to the same degree. We’ve gotten away from the original point, but if you want you can go back and re-read it.

Well apparently they’re not, seeing as the average woman in the west is now overweight, and there’s tons of posts by men screeching about how pissed they are about the fact that women aren’t as hot as they should be
/r/AllPillDebate04/11/23 10:03 PM

The ideological motive is behind them justifying their bad choices. I’m not saying they’re intentionally getting fat to spite men, I’m saying they have just stopped caring and are using past oppression to justify that by committing to the notion of bucking the ideal beauty standards that men make fun of women for not fitting into. 2 things can be true at once: men have, for centuries, criticized, policed, and shamed women for their bodies (yes, I know men will fuck just about anyone/anything, bu…

“The male chad stereotype” please log off the internet. I’ve seen many more movies where an old or unattractive or heavy set man is paired with a female love interest who is 10x out of his league. But yes, attractive people are still cast in movies, guess you got me there?

“By other women”. Idk, seems like by other men too, as evidenced by this post (and so many others like it)

It will level out. Right now women are going through a body image Revolution of sorts, due to the fact that for the past, oh, entire modern history of the world, women’s bodies have been shamed and policed and scrutinized to such an insane degree. So yeah, for a little while there’s going to be a movement of women who go the other way in order to reject that type of oppression. And hopefully in a decade or two, things will level out, or they’ll just snap right back the other way, and this will g…

Citation needed. There is no citation because such a study hasn’t been done to my knowledge. We’d have to ask a representative sample how many men they were sexualized by in their adolescence/youth and how many women they were sexualized by in their adolescence/youth. But right now the best I can do is this: (source from Wikipedia) Male perpetrators account for the vast majority of sexual crimes committed against children. Among convicted offenders, 0.4% to 4% are female, and one literature revi…

Women can be just as shallow and materialistic as men. Yes. So why is this a woman problem instead of a shallow & materialistic person problem? It seems like y’all really thought that women just recently started caring about looks, personality, status, and resources because back in the 20th century women had to find a man in order to be okay in society, and therefore couldn’t afford to be picky. Now that we don’t need men to survive & navigate society, we get to be just as picky as men are. I’m …

Right, but this happens to boys too, and they don’t hate all female sexuality in the same way How do you know? First of all, it is waaaaay way way less common for grown women to sexualize adolescent boys than for grown men to sexualize adolescent girls. Young boys are more likely to be sexualized and leered at by grown men than they are grown women. But for the boys that were traumatized by early sexualization from a grown woman, how do you know they don’t “hate” female sexuality? They very well…

We have a sick society, so why are you blaming the young women who have fallen prey to it? Society (men) really incentivizes women to “thirst trap on Instagram”. They get attention and affirmation and get praised for nothing but their beauty & youth, so of course they’re going to be enticed by that. I really think someone should find the button to turn the internet off, push it, and then destroy it tbh. It’s making all of us sick.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 10:03 PM

The only “unconditional” love you’ll ever get will be from your family: mom & dad & your kids (hopefully). I’m not going to unconditionally love a partner who abused me, cheats on me, lies to me, takes advantage of me….no, that’s not how that works. There are absolutely conditions to romantic love. As there should be.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 03:22 PM
1

That’s a fair example since you’re talking about people whose social needs (by your estimation) don’t extend past that of caregivers and family members, rather than a circle of friends and romantic relationships. It is true that people’s social needs vary, and that some people have a lower bar to meet than others. You’re the one who claimed it’s been…what, 15 years? since your last successful relationship and that you haven’t had a successful date in the last 5-10 years (your answer varies among…

You didn’t answer how one can be socially undeveloped and still have their social needs fulfilled, you just said “exactly”. You have a tendency to completely ignore large parts of a comment (presumably the parts you can’t actually answer and parts that you know refute your point which you don’t want to acknowledge). Then it’s incredibly relevant that you’re a man who is more likely to want to place the blame for his lack of success in the dating market on women, rather than take a look at himsel…

Again, comparing women to food/objects. Do you really not see how this is hateful? By this logic you would only accept a virgin as a sexual/romantic partner, right? Cause as you say, you’d rather drink an unopened can of soda rather than a soda that one man ejaculated into (this completely ignores cases of rape and the fact that women don’t collectively accumulate the ejaculate of the men they’ve slept with). If this is how you think of women, then please do yourself and the world a favor and ju…

Also women are fucking chad who was born tall strong and good looking. I am supposed to glow up to get his left overs… That you describe women as leftovers as though you’re talking about “Chad’s” half-eaten dinner from last night. It’s actually kind of hateful towards men too because it implies that a woman having sex with a man soils her in some way.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 01:57 AM

No, but if I said I didn’t want to date Stacy’s leftovers, that certainly would be.

Yes dating apps are the problem, so then why are you blaming women for utilizing them when men utilize them in much larger numbers? “Chad” and “beta”. Men who use these terms typically have very negative views on women as a whole. You are blaming women, idk why you said that you weren’t. “Their best submissive behavior”…fucking gross.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 11:39 PM
1

Men also prefer dating apps where they can get much more attractive partners to sleep with them. What is your point? You may think you aren’t laying the blame at the feet of women, but that is how your comments read. “Poor men can’t get a date because women have become frigid, uncaring, picky bitches”. There are bad women and bad men, and I see you trying to blame women for the state of men, while not also recognizing that men might be to blame for the state of women. Especially because for the …

Or also realize that love & attraction can’t always necessarily be whittled down to a formula and that statistics (like this 10% number you keep listing) are often bullshit. The men I’m attracted to irl vs the ones I swipe right on on dating apps are often very different. There’s someone for everyone, people just need to be willing to get out there and meet a lot of people in order to find the right one, even though it’s hard.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 11:01 PM

I completely agree that modern dating is gross and resembles a meat market more than a dating scene, and am also acutely aware of choice paralysis. Our modern world is a mess when it comes to many things, but especially when it comes to finding a partner. But it isn’t the fault of women as a gender or men as a gender, and so many of these comments and posts in this sub are looking to fault an entire gender for the ills of the modern dating world. We as a society are sick, not just women and not …

In what way is it logically inconsistent? One can be socially underdeveloped and yet still have their social needs fulfilled? How? So my lens as a woman is, what, irrelevant? Of course it’s my lens as a woman, I’m a a woman. Not a man. All of your responses are just coming from your lens as a man.

If that was true wouldn’t we be hearing about the female loneliness epidemic? It’s western men that are turning to AI chatbots due to a combination of loneliness and severe social anxiety, not women (not to say that women don’t also do this, but it’s much much more prevalent amongst men). Women seem to be able to fulfill their social needs in real life, while men are not. That clearly indicates that men are in fact the more socially underdeveloped sex. I have no doubt that your personal experien…

Do you think women on dating apps are swiping right on supermodel level men every other swipe? I find maybe 1 out of 25 men physically attractive, and an even lower percentage of that are men who I find mentally attractive, and that’s before even getting into wether or not they have a job let alone a good one.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 08:49 PM

It’s provocative because it presupposes that it says anything at all about western women. Also, Chatbots are popular amongst “low value” men in every country

It’s really like trying to teach a child how people work. This guy is acting like he has no clue how women/people in general function, and is then surprised by his lack of connection with real life people.

Which is why 70% of females are dating 40% of men Which is why females only choose the top 5 to 1% of men on Dating Apps Another user of “men and females”. It’s males and females or men and women. Anything else just kinda reveals your biases towards the other sex.

These all sound like totally normal questions that even I as a woman have been asked several times on several dates. You are reading malicious intent into these women where there likely is none. Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 07:45 PM

Then It’s because men are socially underdeveloped. Again, why is that women’s fault?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 07:41 PM

So if you didn’t want anything or get anything out of it, then why are you comparing it/contrasting it to real women? If you didn’t “get anything” from this bot, then it sounds like there’s no difference between what you feel you got from the bot and what you feel you get from actual women.

Having kids is not a guarantee that you will not be lonely in your old age. You may not like your kids, your kids may hate you, you may end up with a disabled kid that you’re taking care of for the rest of your life, you may end up with a total dud or a total sociopath. A kid is not an insurance policy for your social life.

I want a man who is at my attractiveness level or slightly higher. I would not want a man who is significantly/very noticably more attractive than I am. For example, I’m very attracted to both John Krazinski and Chris Evans, but would so much rather date a John Krazinski because he’s approachably attractive, meanwhile if I were to date Chris Evans (lol yeah right), I would be an insecure mess.

“Women usually like men that other women like”. This is actually so true (for me at least)….when I was an adolescent. If a boy I thought wasn’t cute was constantly fighting off girls and had a lot of girls interested in him, that made him attractive in my eyes. If a guy I thought was super attractive had absolutely no women around him and all my friends made fun of me when I said I thought he was cute, I’d go off him. So if it was the other way around where women were making the first moves on men they found attractive and men were the ones reciprocating instead of initiating you would say that men are the ones doing the picking?

Great, we pick each other then. Men pick women and women pick men. If you don’t pick each other then it isn’t a relationship

This is such bullshit. All the men I’ve dated have picked me. They’ve sought me out and “woo’d” me. I have to pick them in return of course, but none of my relationships have started by me seeking out and pursuing a man first. It’s always the man signaling he wants me before I signal back in kind.

You’re right, I shouldn’t have done that. To be fair though, you’ve been talking to me like I’m a child, and you seem completely unwilling or unable to re-examine your position, nor do you seem like you’re even trying to understand mine. So I got a little fed up. My bad. You didn’t “win” though, because I did address what you said, I didn’t just insult you because you stumped me with your brilliant argument.

No woman wants to date the type of man who goes on Reddit to complain about women not wanting to have sex with him, and who argues with women about the fact that it’s actually women’s fault that he can’t get a girlfriend, and they should lower their standards so he won’t be lonely and bitter anymore. If you exude loneliness and bitterness, and choose to stew in those feelings, then women will be innately repelled by you. Men have one option: improve yourself however you can. Because women aren’t…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 11:23 PM

It makes men feel not great about myself when I first hear it, and then once I let rationality set in I take a good look at the type of guys who say they care about that kind of thing and realize that they’re not the kind of people I would ever want to be around or spend time with, let alone fuck or date. I racked up a high body count between ages 17-19 because I was heartbroken over my first love/high school boyfriend and was 1.)trying to make him jealous, 2.) trying to get over him, 3.) trying…

Lmao. Based on the way you talk down to women/people who disagree with you, I’m getting the impression that you’re speaking from a place of being butthurt by your lack of success in the dating scene rather than any genuine understanding about the way men and women operate in this regard. So because men fuck and enjoy fucking both of these types of women, that means men treat them both the same? Well if we’re just gonna disregard literally every other metric, then so do women. Women will fuck the…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 10:32 PM

Yes I have. Men treat women they fuck differently than women they date. It’s just that women for the most part would rather men treat them like the women they want to date, and men would rather women treat them like the men they want to fuck. You’re clearly way too dense and way too invested in your beliefs on this issue to be willing to even consider that you might be wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/23 09:38 PM

With women, it is different. You treat men you fuck differently from men that you date. We just have two categories of women: women we will have anything to do with, and women we have nothing to do with. See the difference? That’s you. You said that.

But “want to fuck her” is not “want to date her”. A man who just wants to fuck might only contact her for a booty call, won’t take her to dinner, won’t buy her gifts, won’t introduce her to his family or friends, won’t commit to a relationship, won’t wait for months to have sex with her, will fuck other women while he’s fucking her, won’t marry her, will talk shit about her with his friends, etc. A man who actually wants to date a woman will endear himself to her, compliment her, send her sweet …

It’s clearly wrong to lie to someone to get them into bed, or at least it’s clear if you’re a person who feels as though boundaries should be respected, and that people are allowed to have whatever preferences/requirements they want for the people they hook up with. Curious how you’d feel if you slept with a woman and then found out they were actually a trans woman? Is that something she should’ve been honest about up front? Or is it okay to essentially lie by omission about it in order to get you to sleep with her, because fuck you for having such a shallow standard in the first place? (This assumes that you would not be okay with sleeping with a trans woman, which may not be the case for you specifically, but is for a lot of people).
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 02:37 PM

No. You can tell when a girl has makeup on. You can’t read a man’s bank account statements. I don’t understand this mindset…are you trying to sleep with women who care about your finances because you hate them and are trying to get back at them and so are lying to them in order to trick them into sleeping with you? And they’re the ones in the wrong here?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 02:12 PM

You’re allowed to have a requirement that you will not sleep with women who wear makeup. If she takes off the push up bra and her tits are not up to your standards (?), then you don’t sleep with her. Faking your personality, your life, your identity, etc to get someone into bed is wrong, flat out.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/23 01:38 PM

Makeup, eyelashes, and hair extensions? Depends on if they’re altering her appearance to a significant degree. Is she recognizable without them? Then no. Photo filters? No, because those are not applicable in person. If she doesn’t look like her photos, you can just stop talking to her. She can’t trick you into sleeping with her using photo filters.

It is gross to completely make shit up about yourself and put on a whole different personality in order to manipulate a woman into sleeping with you when she wouldn’t sleep with you if she knew who you really were. It feels like a violation, and it makes you a bad person.

One, women file 80% of divorces, so they usually are the ones choosing to go this route rather than staying to make the marriage work. Idk what this has to do with anything. Seems to me like it just proves that marriage is oftentimes a better deal for men than it is for women, and once some of these women see that, they get out. I don’t know of any married women who are choosing to divorce despite being in a happy, loving, respectful relationship with their spouse just so they can get alimony. T…

And financial security is a big chunk of the point of a marriage. In fact, it was the whole point of marriage for women for millennia, and only within the past 50ish years has that begun to really change. Is a passport bro just someone who marries someone from a different country (like in your case, someone who actually went to that country for the purposes of traveling, immersed himself in the culture, and just happened to find himself a woman he loved enough to marry), or is it someone who specifically goes to that country to find a wife to bring back home with him? Idk of anyone who would criticize the first one, but the 2nd one is like sex tourism but for marriage instead of sex which, yeah, …

If we get into a relationship, and I know beforehand that you have a lot of female friends and family members, and once we’ve been dating for a while and our lives have become intertwined and we’re invested in each other, and then I tell you that you can’t speak to any other women because it’s a boundary for me and if you can’t manage that then you’re free to leave, would that not be fucked up? Yeah, I can have that boundary, but a.) it’s on me to enforce it if someone crosses it and b.) it’s pr…

I don’t think he should be cancelled (as in never allowed to show his face or earn a living in his career of choice) over something like this. People take things way too far on social media. I’m speaking for myself here, I’m not defending people who went full attack mode on him. But we live in a different world now where celebs will get cancelled for the slightest of offenses…like people are just out there looking for a reason to take down successful people, and I think they used this to try and…

So it’s up to her to break up with him when she crosses a boundary that he didn’t make clear until much later into the relationship? A boundary that he clearly didn’t have when he first got with her as she had been doing those things since the beginning of the relationship. Idk, if I have a boundary of “don’t cheat on me” and my partner cheats on me, whose responsibility is it to enforce my boundary? Mine. Obviously.

If we wanna talk to you, we’ll talk to you. Tbh the truth is you just didn’t stick out that much and we’re not interested enough to actually continue the conversation. Moods can change between the time they swiped right and the time the first message gets sent. I’ve swiped on people that I thought were cute and funny, and then the next day have ended up with a completely different opinion about them. If this bothers you, then you need to learn to deal with that or find another way to get a date.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 11:19 PM

I don’t think most women who deal with this are actually complaining about it, though. They’re just telling you the reason why a girl may not have responded to your message….

That’s always been a stigma to online dating. “If you could get a date in real life you wouldn’t need to try and find one online”. Idk how true that actually is though, at least nowadays.

This is so funny to me. As if men would behave that way on tinder. As if they do. Men will swipe indiscriminately for hours. The app is designed to keep you swiping. I swipe late at night. I’ll swipe until someone messages me back if I have nothing else to do. Like, come on. Do you stop swiping at 15? Would you stop swiping if you got matches?

He could’ve just broken up with her instead of telling her she can no longer post photos of herself and have male friends, aka doing her job while living her life as a pro surfer/influencer. Tbh those boundaries are fucked. “Don’t raise your voice to me in anger” is a good boundary to have, but “don’t have male friends” is just controlling behavior. Seems like the adage is true…men will only ever view women through the context of two categories: as the Virgin Mary (the virgin) or as Mary Magdalene (the whore). It’s just ironic that you yourself would never accept a woman who meets the standards that you live your own life by as a partner.

So the consequences for men are being called names irl & on social media, experiencing violence, and being falsely accused of rape. The consequences for women are being called names irl & on social media, experiencing violence and being raped. Sounds pretty equal to me.

What’s the social consequence for men who promise a relationship and don’t follow through?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 06:43 PM
1

Probably because they’re high in charisma and extremely good at manipulating people to get what they want. Doesn’t mean those people have successful and fulfilling intimate relationships though. Actually it means quite the opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 03:50 PM
1

So having a high number of romantic relationships at once or over the span of a lifetime is successful and fulfilling? So women and men should be assholes and sleep with the most amount of people they possibly can, and that way they increase their likelihood of finding a successful and fulfilling relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 03:36 PM
2

You said there is “zero consequence” for women who promise sex and don’t fulfill that promise. There are consequences. Rape, violence, and shaming. The societal consequence is the shaming. The person you responded to even gave examples of the type of shaming women receive for doing this, such as being called a “tease” (and crude variations of that like “cock tease” and “prick tease”).
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 03:30 PM

The only people who feel that way are creepy assholes
/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 01:49 PM

/r/MensRights31/07/23 02:50 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate31/07/23 02:48 AM

Yeah, women who do that are….not quality. I see men on this sub blaming women for “picking wrong” when they end up in bad relationships, idk why they don’t apply the same thought pattern to women in this situation. They simply choose bad women to ask out.

Then just use “male” when you’re referring to both sexes. It’s weird to use “female” and then use “man”. I have. Many times. Just don’t do it on the first date anymore because it’s never led to a successful second date. You’re just kinda the worst, aren’t you? Preferences are not biological needs. No one “needs” a taller guy just like no one “needs” to have sex with multiple women. It’s not a biological need, it’s a want. A biological need is something like “I need to breathe oxygen” or “I need to piss when I drink liquid”. A mutual, loving partnership with a woman doesn’t exist? So you see women as tools, as bangmaids? Not worthy of forming a true and equal connection with, because of course women are inferior…

I think the question “So do women feel no guilt?” in a thread such as this one (but with the genders reversed) would not be anywhere near as offensive as you and the other commenter are making it out to be. I understand, I’m not trying to be combative, just discussing. I don’t think you’re right that women should be expecting this behavior out of their partners. We rise above our nature in many ways all the time. I find this “it’s just our nature” thing to be the most bullshittiest excuse for bad behavior. “Boys will be boys” type shit. Rape is seen all throughout the animal kingdom, but we don’t tolerate the “it’s in my nature” excuse. Cheating is the ultimate betrayal of trust, and like I said so…

Sounds like they’re lying to themselves. They’re in a monogamous relationship with a woman they know would hate them if they cheated on her (otherwise they would have a conversation with her about opening up the relationship). That’s seriously comforting to hear. Seeing men in the comments say that they have no qualms about cheating on a woman they say they love while in a happy relationship as long as their SO won’t find out is, like, terrifying for me as a straight woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/07/23 03:25 AM
10

But they’re lying to the person they supposedly love and intentionally doing something that they know would hurt their SO. I get that men don’t see love (or even “like”) & sex as one in the same, but what about love & trust? The guilt should come from lying to/breaking the trust of/hurting the person you’re with, not from the sex act itself.

No they don’t. No one has to cheat. There’s no reason for it in this day & age. Polyamory is a thing. If you as a man know that you do not want/cannot tolerate a monogamous relationship, there is no reason to trick a monogamous woman into a relationship with you. If you cheat now, when it’s socially acceptable to be in open and/or polyamorous relationships, you are a bad person. Straight up.

That’s repulsive and I genuinely hope this isn’t representative of most men.

But men know that the sex means something to the woman they’re cheating on. I don’t get that excuse of “the sex didn’t mean anything”. It means something to me!

Do men not feel guilt?

True. Women are plagued by these fantasies as well. “Fixing” the bad boy. The boy who will only change his ways because his love for you is so powerful. 🙋🏻‍♀️ guilty

Sure, I mean there are those people that just get your hackles up immediately.

That’s good that you have that ability. Most of us though give people a baseline level of trust and only revoke it when it’s been broken. I don’t have the emotional bandwidth to be constantly scanning for clues and flags and potential character flaws. It bites me in the ass sometimes, but such is life.

People think they’re so much better at reading others than they actually are. At least I’m aware that I’m shit at being able to tell who is a good person and who is a bad person that’s really good at hiding it.

It’s easier for someone with social capabilities/charisma to hide their true self and manipulate others. That’s a social skill even though it’s antisocial in nature. Obviously those without social skills are easier to spot, they have no ability to cover/hide their red flags with anything at all.

That’s a ridiculous blanket statement

Do gay men not “interrupt men because they want attention”? Why would a straight man interrupt another man in order to try and get a date out of him?

Yup, a man who has a 7/10 height and 7/10 face will always win over a guy who has 9/10 height & 3/10 face or 3/10 height & 10/10 face.

Sounds like you’re saying that you do think women who post half-naked pics on Instagram are promiscuous, so why go after all the people who are making that very reasonable assumption about you from your post?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:08 AM

Sure thing sweetheart
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:07 AM

If only they felt the same way about your dick
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 07:00 AM

So is that a yes? “Sexually pure”…if you want a guaranteed sexually pure woman then, idk, convert to Islam or Mormonism? Do you not desire female validation?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 06:59 AM

Okay, well do you think she is promiscuous for posting “half-naked” photos?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 06:30 AM

You specifically should avoid all women.

Looks like it does work. Didn’t read the whole thing thoroughly, just skimmed. Not sure if this was linked as support for my answer or you are trying to refute what I said somehow, but it seems to support my answer.

Because they’re decriminalizing the people seen as victims, and criminalizing the people who are responsible for their victimization. In the case of drugs, the dealers are seen as the ones creating victims out of the buyers. If there were no dealers there would be much less addicts, illicit drug deaths, cartel/gang violence, etc, whereas criminalizing the buyers does almost nothing to stop drug seeking & buying and just criminalizes people who are basically only hurting themselves. As for sex wo…
