Op, you seem sad and upset. You’re whining online that people whine. You create narratives that ultimately hurt you more than anyone else. Every belief you hold is flawed, biased and erroneous. Just like everyone’s beliefs are. So chill out, stop making yourself into a victim and strangers into enemies. It’s not healthy.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/25 05:36 PM

But it’s a “problem”, you think, that women think they can get men out of their league? And that they’re delusional? More delusional than men sending unsolicited dick pics in hopes it will get them laid? You’re just trying to paint women out as delusional and men as reasonable. There are obviously delusional people of both genders and you can’t know who is the most delusional
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 09:30 AM

If you’re drawing parables between feminism and naziism then you’re just making yourself come of as radicalised and ahistorical. I’ll look into the book tho, thanks for the recommendation
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 06:48 AM

What are some feminist books you read that you think are sexist?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 06:30 AM

I think you’re maybe confusing someone who values personality with them saying they don’t value looks at all? If you “see it everywhere”, please prove it, show me one woman who has claimed that looks aren’t important at all who then goes primarily after looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 06:29 AM

I think it’s fair to point out that people* have a tendency to not take responsibility, since it can often be easier to blame others I disagree with your other take tho. “Feminism” is a very loose term and means so many different things to different people. To say that it’s “filled with sexist garbage” is to draw narrow and arbitrary lines about what “feminism” is, and fails to take into account the complexity of the subject
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/25 06:24 AM

So you both claim that no man has the “delusion” that he can get women far out of his league. But also that men get rejected by the women they approach. What’s your argument here, that men only go after women slightly above their league? Or that they are actually somehow entitled to these women who have deluded themselves that they deserve better men?

Dude it’s just a phrase, if you don’t understand that words aren’t always supposed to interpreted literally, then you don’t understand how language is used, do you?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 08:37 PM

You can also argue that red pill men have fantasies, but depressing ones. “I’m not 6’4 so I’ll never get a girlfriend in spite of my top tier personality” meanwhile a lot of guys under 6 feet with average personalities are in steady relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 08:28 PM

I think the methodology used is just making generalising and antagonistic assertions about women’s “true” or “hidden” motives, that can’t be proven or disproven. Then butthurt men can use those assertions to create narratives where they’re noble victims and don’t actually have to change or better themselves

True, I heard about a guy that was 6ft2 and a half who lost his harem when he got caught without his stilletos…. It’s rough out there

I bet you a billion dollars and a triple layered chocolate cake with extra sprinkles that op doesn’t have a degree in history, or they wouldn’t make such oversimplified, ahistorical and unfounded claims as they did in this post. You think that if women aren’t fully satisfied with the current system then they should go back to a conservative and religious society in which the feminist movement arose in the first place due to how unhappy women were with it? Flawless logic /s

Why take personal responsibility and work on yourself when you can just blame someone else for your problems? /s

I understand that you have the perception that women routinely lie about this. I understand that people some times state a different preference than they have. I even googled what you said and nothing that supported your specific claim showed up. Maybe you just believe in a stereotype?

I agree, it seems like on an unconscious level, the ones who say “choose better” are actually just bitter over the fact that they don’t get chosen as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 04:21 PM

I agree a lot with your post! There are seemingly a lot of men in this subreddit who make “debate” posts, when their intent is just to generalise and berate women instead of engaging in anything that expands their world view. The underlying thread seems to be that they are looking for someone to blame. If women don’t show them interest, it’s because women have unrealistic standards. If women reject them, it’s because women are shallow and lie about not valuing looks. Without taking any personal …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 04:15 PM

Everyone values physical attraction to various degrees, is maybe a better way to phrase that? The only difference about it is not their degree about denial towards it, is it? And who are some of these people you claim deny that they value physical attraction?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 03:59 PM

What are some of the recent posts where women throw a fit over this? Could you direct me to some of them?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/25 02:31 PM

Are you making the assertion that only, or mostly, women go after looks? Most people* probably first get interested in someone because of their looks or some superficial part of their personality, because how is it even practical to start with who someone is deep inside? Presumably you have to start by getting to know someone first, and why then would you not choose someone who attracts you from the start?

You can, but there’s a difference between talking about one’s personal experiences (with for example, women) and making generalisations about women as if tho they were one homogenous group. Op talks about how women are wired, how women need men’s emotional stability to feel safe, how women aren’t emotionally intelligent but instead just use social structures to their advantage, etc But which women? What is op’s experience with these women? What is the empirical data that op uses? What are op’s s…

Interesting that you bring up psychology as an example, considering that there is a replication crisis within that field. ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Replication_crisis ) One of the causes for this crisis is having “low statistical power” An example is if a study is made of 40 women, that might yield a specific result. If that study is replicated with a different group of women, it could yield a very different result. To take either one of these studies and then make claims about “women” a…

I know it’s about groups. Do you not think it’s a valid inquiry to ask if he means every single woman on the planet or just from a specific culture or country? And to inquire to what degree of certainty op has about their statements? Groups consist of individuals, so is it not valid to argue that talking about “groups” without realising they consist of individuals that op has never met is a reductionist view point?

What is even the debate you’re trying to start here? That you are the one who should determine what high standards mean for other people? Or if situationships should exist or not? Or who other people should engage in romantic/intimate relationships with?

I do feel bad for you, and this is exactly why……. How can you be so hypocritical and stubborn to the point where you’re rude to me for asking for evidence, when so many other people also pointed out that you needed to provide support for your claim? Just admit you’re wrong man. And then to top it off you’re actually commenting about how “feminists” don’t provide enough proof for their claims??
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/25 12:57 PM

You’re really in another comment-thread claiming that feminism’s standard of proof in insufficient and how their “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence” while our whole discussion was due to YOU not being able to provide even the smallest piece of evidence, and INSULTING me for asking for proof? I can’t with you 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

What would really make me happy is if you were happier. Because it’s kinda sad to see you creating misguided narratives about rape and feminism in your head, giving yourself “w’s” while being belligerent to strangers and having such a frail ego that you attack other people instead of admitting you’re wrong. My heart goes out to you.

Because I ask for sources? Meanwhile instead of putting a small amount of energy into backing up your claims, you waste energy being rude?

High-maintenance? Because I don’t take your word as gospel? You don’t have sources to back up what you’re claiming. If you did then you would’ve sent them already instead of putting in time and energy into being rude and calling me a weirdo and a 5 year old. Let’s watch you once again dodge the question and make it more obvious what’s going on :)

Do most 5 year olds you encounter ask you to provide sources for your generalising statements? :) The fact is, isn’t it, that all I did was ask you to provide some concrete evidence to support your claims? You have failed to do so, and you mask this with statements like “I don’t keep lists for weirdos” “I’m not gonna hold your hand like a 5 year old” Etc And it’s so hilariously funny that you think you fool anyone with these statements, when it’s obvious that you simply don’t have the sources to…

If you need a w that badly I’ll gladly give it to you 😂 The reason I asked for a link is because I don’t believe your statements about feminist’s beliefs are generally applicable, or applicable at all. I understand that you’d give up on them, it’s of course not your responsibility to fix them, and it must be frustrating when the solution seems so simple. But I think it’s making some assumptions about free will to make it seem like breaking out of habits is easy. What are the those 4-5 variants? Yes I think there are differences between people, but also differences in how each individual person feels hunger that change throughout each instance/moment. Can you name instances where you had the exact same conscious experience that you’ve had before? And the term “anxiety dream” is a way that we try to reduce millions of dreams into something understandable. All the dreams were presumably different from one another through. “Men want super models - so every woman who isn’t one will die alone” (Playing devil’s advocate here) I think here you can see that they’re actually not logically coherent or reiterations of each other ^ And if I had followed that up by saying that “This is the direct message of feminism”, I should not be surprised when people point out that it isn’t, should I? And as a bonus, yes, you should be mindful of how you phrase things, or you do leave holes for misinterpretation. No one here can read y…

What are the 4-5 variants of male nature? I think I simply don’t understand what you mean by it. And no, I’m not referring to only emotions, but conscious experience. I think you can erroneously reduce, for example, being hungry as one variant of conscious experience. But whenever you are hungry there are differences: different physical sensations of hunger in different parts of the body, a complex spectrum of psychological sensations related to it, how your thoughts are affected by it, how your…

How have I been rude to you? And you said the direct message of the red pill was that women want a rich/masculine man. You then immediately said that the direct message of the red pill was that “you have a high probability of dying alone” That is a clear contradiction. Is it not? Am I rude for pointing that out?

The impression I get is that you’ve made an issue gendered for no apparent reason? “The “”bargaining power”” of these attractive dudes” Don’t attractive women hold a similar “power”? Why are you differentiating between men and women, when what you’re talking about is a differentiation between people who have “power” due to their attractiveness compared to those who don’t?

I respect you enough to respond to what you actually wrote. I do think you’re way out of depths and also generalise and draw hasty and misguided conclusions. I asked what I think is a valid question. If you contradict yourself and generalise, then what response do you expect from people? (Dodging the question to call me a hound and a weirdo is kinda rude btw)
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/25 07:57 AM

And why does birth > death mean there can only be a handful of variants? When you say variants, do you mean that men either have or don’t have a strong desire for sexual variety? Because that’s reducing the complexity of every individual’s desire into two groups. You can also reduce it into a handful of groups. But that doesn’t reflect what each individual feels at any given time, does it? It’s just reducing reality, not reflecting it

“Women want a rich/masculine man” “You have a high probability of dying alone” According to you these are both the direct message of the red pill I don’t doubt that people in the red pill community may hold these beliefs That does not mean that they are the direct message of the red pill. I think a lot of men, and people in general, are caught in certain loops, for example what’s referred to as dopamine releasing habits of video games, porn, consuming YouTube videos, social media, etc. It’s not that these people want to isolate themselves, but are rather caught in a circle of comfort. Going out and meeting people, especially if they’ve faced rejection in the past, can be scary, and involves the risk of facing rejection once again. Meanwhile staying home to consume media or playin…

While I would disagree that even 200m samples out of 200m could say anything close to certain about human psychology, since we humans seemingly are unable to see past our biases and grasp the complexity of the world that we often reduce to something “comprehensible” out of necessity (which is why we “feel” like we understand something) I think you formulated yourself very well about your experience, clarifying that it was your experience and that it’s your opinion. I’m taking the meaning too far by….. debating what you said in a debate post? I feel like this is going nowhere. I hope you find someone who wants to have a relationship with you, make sure you don’t rush them into it and don’t be surprised when they don’t want to share their location with you at the start

Just making observations? “If you’re a man looking for a gf” is an example of you not just observing, but giving out advice based on conclusions you’ve made. That’s not just observation, is it? Or have you observed all current future instances of men looking for a gf?

“If you’re a man looking for a gf” “If you’re in a relationship with a woman” Sounds like pretty generalising statements to me. Just because you didn’t always generalise about all women, doesn’t mean you didn’t at some point. At some points you just generalised about millions of women, if you have been referring to women who are online dating? Or maybe women who are slightly above average? Or “women now”? If someone has been in a relationship with 100 women and opened up and been vulnerable to all of them, then that person has been vulnerable to about 0.000000025% of women. To me, that’s a limited amount to be making generalisations about the remaining 99.999999975%. I agree that these debates are like a roadmap to men, but it’s a map that leads them to a dark place. I’m sorry if that came across as rude. That comment wasn’t based on moral superiority as such, I just had a hard time believing that you’d believe in such rigorous gendered roles that, to me, clearly doesn’t reflect modern western society?

You can still debate things at a superficial level, sure, but to what end? To reach superficial conclusions? I guess to me that just feels somewhat futile. I just think we fool ourselves when we make generalisations about millions and billions of people based on the few people we have interacted with. And I think a lot of people here have unconsciously used their very limited experiences to create negative narratives that ultimately harm them.

I think if you’re dating someone who wants a long term relationship, chances are that they’ll be more patient, unless you give them the ick, which you could do if you obsess about sharing location, their social media, etc. If you’re dating someone who doesn’t want a long term relationship, or just aren’t really sure of what they want, then they’re less likely to meaningfully engage in a long term relationship. On the off-chance that you’re not a troll, I’d say that it’s pretty ridiculous to uphold these gendered roles if you’re a part of western society. People who want to pursue relationships are free to do so, regardless of gender. If a man wants to pursue a relationship and only thinks about sex then that’s just absurd. Equally absurd, would be if a woman who just wants to hook up only thinks about relationships. A person who only wants to have sex does not “have the role to pursue a relationship”,…

May I ask to what degree of certainty you know what women you’ve never met are attracted to? Well, if you’re stopping yourself from being vulnerable and truly saying how you feel, then you’re not really open, are you? At least not by the definition that I originally meant by it. Keeping your true feelings from your partner (by not letting yourself be vulnerable) isn’t how I would define being “honest” either. I would disagree that not being open and vulnerable in a relationship would be the definition of a healthy relationship, in fact I’d argue the contrary. How is being unable to be open and confide in one’s partner defined as being healthy? Surely being able to communicate openly with a partner isn’t unhealthy? From my experiences when I’ve opened up and been vulnerable with past girlfriends, I have been met by support and understanding. If you haven’t had the same experience, then that’s sad, but…

What do you base your generalisation of how women react to men being vulnerable? To what degree can you with certainty claim that women react more negatively to men showing their emotions than men react to women doing the same thing? Are you talking about all billions of people on the planet? Or just people in the western society? Or a specific country? I’d argue that these generalising statements are an unrealistic and reductionist world view imposed to a complex reality. Thoughts?
