2	Another post arguing that it is a good idea to go massively in debt to get a degree in an unemployable subject. Trade schools are really good for a lot of fields, I won't deny that. I was talking more in the realm of high to very-high paying jobs. I don't know much about Germany's subsidization model, but it certainly sounds interesting. I'll have to read up on it. I agree that you shouldn't blow your money on subpar degrees. My main objection was that there are a great variety of majors with practical and useful applications than just the ones where "people's lives are in your hands." Why deal with apprenticeship when there's an abundance of educated candidates?
