I’m sick? I was 10 dressed in jeans and a ratty t-shirt every time. I don’t talk about it. Only people who know are an ex who wanted to know why I hated that guy and a good friend of mine. I didn’t tell everyone he associated with. I didn’t ruin his life. I didn’t tweet #MeToo. I don’t bash men. I don’t say “niggas ain’t shit.” I didn’t speak up because I was scared. I don’t tell everyone now because there’s no point, it’d just cause unnecessary drama. Neither do I discredit people who speak out…

Wait; wait. Stop! I was molested when I was younger by a guy whose mother had done drugs while she was pregnant with all of her children. Compared to the rest of his biological family he looked like an angel, but he was still fucked up. So, some of us are telling the truth. And lots of us didn’t know how to properly deal with it. Now, that there’s a chance for us to make our voices heard, some of us are taking it. But I do acknowledge the way it’s going about isn’t quite feasible. I haven’t join…

Nah, I just like to push that away from my immediate thoughts.

I come to this sub to take note of the quality hypocrisy, case in point, and correct myself. Can’t discount everything.

I’m a girl who’s just scrolling. But damn, son, that’s so true. I’ve seen decent to attractive guys lose any chance they had after Chad messed around with their potential girl.

Oh my, your astuteness is awe-inspiring. A giant among men. But in seriousness my username, although it’s not a real word. Circumlocutory is. And aren’t such qualities often attributed to women?

Of course that’s true with the majority in general. But think about the fact that “blonde, voluptuous/tall, minimal cognitive activity, and extra sex appeal with little to no prudence” has been the main narrative pushed by pop culture. Of course that idea is perpetuated by women as well, but only now is the narrative, that women can think for themselves and should be independent and responsible, given much credence. Would you after decades of dependency and minimal hard honest work give all that…

That is of course not strictly a reference to sexual relationships.

Do you know how many times I’ve been disappointed by a man who couldn’t understand that I was down for him and didn’t expect much in return? We’d say one thing. He’d realize I was serious and get scared off until later, if he understood I wasn’t being manipulative and clingy. Maybe we’re arguing the difference between a man and a little boy. If so, then that goes for women and girls.

I mean if you guys are looking on Tinder. Then there’s not a lot anyone can do to help you. Tinder is a textbook definition of hookup culture, maybe even more than the club.

Same goes for men too though.

Maybe you have that “adorable, I’ll love you with your flaws” look going on. I don’t know. I’m not fat; I’m not skinny. But I don’t have a methodology to who I approach.

It sucks because I’m a woman. But I’m pretty good at relegating emotions and compartmentalism. And I know love isn’t fairytales and unicorns but hard work if you “do it right.” But there’s this small part of me that I can’t always ignore that thinks falling in love wouldn’t be awful. It sucks.

Well, I mean that’s how you came about. Don’t hate too hard.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
