A lot of fathers, minorities mostly, were in jail. The Reagan-thru-Clinton eras really focused on getting men into the jail system easily for cheap, forced labor. That’s why they started the 3-strikes and you’re out law, etc. Any small charge to get them locked up. Mothers were left to raise the boys and tended to spoil them. Hence, entitled grown pricks.
