1	Feminist logic: You have a great point about civilization making the best decisions for the time period they were in. I also don’t have a problem with the stereotypical family model. That works for some people, and I don’t look differently at people that want to live that way (even though I do not). For me it’s all about choice, women did not have a choice to live differently. 1	Feminist logic: Mentioned this in my post certain rights were not given to women historically: In the US: women couldn’t vote until 1920, women couldn’t open a bank account/get a mortgage until the 1960/1970s, the right for women to get divorced was granted in 1942. 1	Feminist logic: I was referring to traveling alone, going to bars/clubs alone etc. not necessary errands/life events that everyone has to do. I don’t stop doing necessary life things because of fear, but I do avoid certain things. Granted that is just my experience, and experience of most females I know.
