Something ive found lately is a longing for connection and company. Turns out that connection is just with another human being. Could be a guy or a girl. I think humans are pack animals but we are tricked into thinking we need to "BE" with someone aka relationship in order to be happy. We just need to feel connected.

When I was younger (10 years ago) I did what any 30 year old would do, I bought a Marshall full stack (JCM2000 with 1960a and 1960b cabs). When it was delivered I put it together, played one chord and thought "What the fuck am I going to do with this" I sold it within a few months and bought a Marshall 2x12 Combo. Smart.

Ive collected/acquired it over the past 28 or so years to be honest. Its not like i bought them all last week. In usual fashion, as I get older and wealthier my tastes go up and up. My Les Paul for instance is worth more than maybe 4 of my Ibanez guitars or 2 of my Strats. I usually get guitars 2nd hand if im completely honest. I tend to look out for people who need money fast, its always handy being in the know and having some spare cash should a bargain pop up.

It's been 3 months since I wrote this. I went on a Tinder binge and slept with a heap of girls to hopefully take away my focus. It left me feeling a bit empty. Not really dude, one of the benefits of being the guy on the first date is you get to choose where and when you meet up. Obviously somewhere thats accessible and not threatening, which it was. Also, as a guy with options and a busy schedule, theres no way im investing time in a person with these traits.
