Honestly, I was thinking about it a couple of times these days, but I didn’t do it because fuck this and fuck him. Yay us ladies!

Ooh, I have a good (read: disgusting) story: When I was 17, my boyfriend at the time told me that he loved me after a few weeks. When I *still* didn't want to sleep with him yet that same night (I wasn't a virgin anymore), he said: "Come on, I've even told you that I love you, what more do you need?" I honestly don't remember whether I slept with him that night or not, but I imagine I did, being all dumb and passive and a nice Pickmeisha. Took me months to break up with him, even though he was o…

Aww, this is so sweet! Definitely needed after reading some of the awful, awful stuff on PPF or RSA.

Yes! Which is why now I'm always put off if a man asks me this question.

Yeah, I've read the original post and it's just awful, my heart breaks for her. But then again, sadly not surprising? The more men you put up with and the more stories you hear about relationships, the more you realise that at least 80% of men are LV and complete assholes when it comes to actually taking care of their partner.

Probably one who did the whole "Netflix & Chill" routine with him on the first "date", thus giving him the undeserved ego boost that lifted him straight to "please me because I got dick" levels. I'm almost certain he wouldn't have said "haha, no, issa joke!" if you had actually agreed to take his car.

Actually very fittingly a mix between INTJ und INTP (only very slight preference of J over P).

See! He doesn't even think that that's low effort because he's been most definitely getting away with that approach way too often. Good on you, OP!

Yeah, I guess if you use it as a facade while still maintaining cautious and tough on the inside, it could be beneficial in some situations. I've actually been told by a male social worker that he didn't believe what I was telling him about my abusive ex to whom he spoke before me because I seemed calm and collected, while he saw a "broken man" before him when he was talking to my (highly manipulative and psychotic) ex. Had that social worker been versed in psychology, he'd had known that detach…

This hits home. I wish it didn't, but it does. I used to be/appear vurnerable in the past and the men I dated (and pretty much everyone else, but especially the men I dated) took advantage of me. Now, over the years, after enough bad experiences and catalysed by one abusive, traumatising relationship, I have changed and have become very careful, skeptical (and yes, cynical) on the inside, while still trying to maintain some sort of a "feminine approachability" whenever I interact with a man I co…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
