Shame is the childish response, that results from getting caught in the act and while not regretting doing it, regretting getting caught. Guilt relates to a deeper moral understanding of the results of your actions. Women learn by getting scolded, men learn by understanding. Edit: I see your point. A woman only feels shame. I guess its one of those ugly truths, that this forum would be a lot smaller with the world being less insane. 1	Now maybe I’m weird because I’m a writer but I’m starting to notice this... I would also like to think that the big religions just coopted morality, mostly because morality is something every human has an intrinsic interest in and the big religions are just collections of memes designed to appeal to a maximum number of human beeings. Just as a hypothetical counterpoint, i would like to Occam's razor it: The growing absence of physical work in most males due to desk jobs and more automation in our society as well as its direct symptoms like obesity should be enough to explain the lack of testosterone.
