Spam quen, only attack when it's up and back off when it's not. Use potions and blade oil, you can reapply the oil in the middle of combat if you need to. If you haven't done a lot of side quests consider doing a few to level up. Also find the schematics for the Viper swords and craft them if you can for more damage. Good luck!

A lot of the time women apologize in their suicide notes to whoever found them. Women are more concerned about taking care of the people that they're leaving behind in terms of not traumatizing them with the sight of a mutilated corpse.

Oh and also, if you disagree with them they'll tell you to check your privilege. But what if you're talking about women's issues, you're a woman, and I still disagree with them? Then they will call you a "special snowflake" who is either no better than "privileged" groups or has been deluded by patriarchy into participating in their own oppression. Also either women or transpeople always come first there and there is almost prejudice against gay men, because they are men and some have been known…

All of these lists are bullshit. No one should be making a gendered list of how you treat someone in a relationship based on whether you're a man or a woman. The list should just be: 10 things to do so you aren't a douche. Acting like men and woman have different expectations from a relationship at all just reinforces negative stereotypes.

Actually, that was my point. The reason women feel this way is because societal norms say that those are "man jobs." It's not as if they'd be discriminated against if they tried to join, just as a man wouldn't if he tried to become a nurse or secretary. They just choose not to because of an internalized and unconscious perception of gender distinction between jobs.
/r/MensRights22/03/12 12:35 PM

Well, to be fair, it's not patriarchy but just society's idea of gender roles. There is still a huge, if mostly unconscious, sense of "man jobs" and "woman jobs." Nurse is a woman job. Logger is a man job. If we were somehow able to eliminate this, then the gender balance in all professions would inevitable swing close to 50/50.

I honestly don't understand. How is saying that men are on average stronger than women discrimination? http://www.jaxtrainer.com/m-vs-w.html This study, although it states that women's muscle tissue is not inherently weaker, still proves my point, because the average male in the study is far heavier than the average female as well. Heavier=more muscle tissue= stronger.

Saying that "I assign whole groups of people status based on sex and race" is ridiculous. So, I must somehow be racist if I say "Black people have a higher melanin content than white people," is that what you're saying? Because if you honestly think that, I have no time for this.

Yes, sure, segregate based on ability. When you find a gym willing to spend the money to conduct rigorous fitness tests on all their members and then place them into classes that suit exactly their physical abilities and workout preferences and suit the schedules of everyone who's signed up to the class, you can say "Ha, ha, I was right." But no gym will do that, because it's a huge waste of money considering that, ON AVERAGE, men are physically stronger and capable of more than women. ON AVERAG…
/r/MensRights24/01/12 10:55 PM

No. To continue the gym metaphor, there is little significant difference between the physical capabilities of a white man and a black man, but there is quite a large difference between the capabilities of a man and a woman. So it is good management, not sexism, for gyms to have gender-segregated classes, so the instructor isn't constantly having to pause and adjust for people spread incredibly wide over the spectrum of endurance. Next you'll be saying that we should put urinals instead of toilet…

Well, in some areas it is okay to divide by gender, because there are dynamics between the genders that exist and cannot go away, dynamics that have come inherently with the concept of gender. This is why a men-only or woman-only thing is not the same as "We won't serve you unless you're white," because there is no reason why white men and black men couldn't go to the same gym. On the other hand, for example, many parents want to send their sons/daughters to a boys/girls only private school, bec…

Yes, because when a woman wears a short dress her goal is definitely to manipulate men into raping her. It wasn't that poor man in the alley's fault, he was simply seduced by her evil slut-powers and couldn't help himself! By showing more than half her thigh she was obviously signaling that she was up for sex with any guy out there.
/r/MensRights14/01/12 10:42 PM

I'm pretty sure that it's been shown by statistics that what you're wearing has absolutely nothing at all to do with whether or not you get raped.

Yes, of course, the man is the most important issue. But that doesn't mean that you should completely ignore the culprit or bite someone's head off if they say "Well, shouldn't we get someone to arrest that woman while we get him to the hospital?"

It's possible she's anonymous because she, you know, didn't want the fact that she was raped on her main account. Also, Betty isn't necessarily her real name, or even a common name nowadays in the first place, unless you're in your 70's or something.
/r/MensRights25/12/11 07:37 PM

You know, I'm pretty sure that Betty wasn't saying that that wasn't true, rather, she was pointing out that false rape accusations were bad from everyone's perspective, and not all women think they're a-OK.

Spencer's Gifts is this store in the mall that appears to sell the aforementioned objects as well as Perry the Platypus hats. However, when you get past the giant barrier of t-shirts in the front of the store, it becomes eminently clear that Spencer's Gifts is, in fact, a low-grade sex shop.

Can you clarify, please? I understand that it was from company emails but my general impression was that the event was not company sponsored but was rather organized by the women amongst themselves. There is nothing sexist about sometimes wanting to hang out with other women and have no men be around. There are just things that some women don't feel comfortable talking about around men, especially men they aren't very close with, or subjects that women would like to talk about that men would fee…

The way some feminists use the term "patriarchy" may be bigoted, but the technical definition of "patriarchy" simply means "a society where males are the exclusive holders of powerful leadership positions". America is not a patriarchy. Mesopotamia was a patriarchy. Instead of patriarchy, those feminists should say "There is an unfair bias towards men being elected." It is a fact that there has never been a female president.

Yes, that's my point. I wouldn't let that happen. If my SO came home tired from work a couple of times and asked me to do all the cooking, I would be happy to oblige. But, I wouldn't let it happen more than a couple of times. Of course, this depends on lots of factors (ie. we get off work at the same time but he's a construction worker and I'm a barista). However, I feel like sex and making dinner aren't comparable in a lot of ways though. Making dinner is something you can do selflessly as a fa…

Well, frigid isn't exactly the best way to phrase it. I know this'll bring on a massive storm of downvotes, but frigid is a word used by some men to shame women who don't want to have sex with them. However, an imbalance of sex drives in a relationship is a serious issue and is best approached by saying something like "Sarah, I've been noticing that you haven't been as interested in sex lately? Is there something wrong?" This would go for women as well as men (speaking as a female with a high se…

Thank you so much for your support. I've said similar things before, and all I've gotten is the "You're either with us or against us" mentality. I actually get along with guys the best, but that doesn't mean I'll believe my whole gender is evil. I think that girlwriteswhat says it perfectly. The problem is not women themselves, it is the fact that they could take advantage of certain biases the government has towards them (child support, rape, etc.) However, the continuing prevalence of men in government proves that this cannot be a conspiracy entirely masterminded by women. Partially, to be sure, but also at fault are archaic viewpoints that paint women as perfect angels and men as agressors. Anyway, my main point is that misogyny is u…

I'm perfectly ok with my boyfriend being sexually attracted to other girls. Where there begins to be a problem is if he is also romantically attracted to them. However, I acknowledge that this scenario wouldn't completely be under his control. What matters is how he deals with it. Either way, I would want him to tell me. If he can work past it, great. If he can't, better we break up.

I for one am a woman, who frequents this subreddit and finds equal gender rights to be an important issue. I don't consider myself either a feminist or a men's right's activist, I consider myself to be an advocate of equal gender rights. The many misandrist feminists out there make my blood boil, and so do the misogynistic MRA's. I hate to break it to you, but many of them do exist and many frequent this subreddit. I think that chivalry goes both ways. If I'm walking in front of my boyfriend, I'll hold the door for him. If he's in front of me, he'll hold it for me. He'll often carry some of my heavy things for me, because he's a lot stronger than I am. I would do the same for him if I was stronger. We pay for food and other stuff based on who has more money. (He often pays, but this is only because his parents let him have as much food money as he wants, whereas mine expect me to pay myself or eat at home.…

Well, late at night, I assume that no one who I don't know would really have any business knocking on my door. With exceptions (ice storm, oncoming tornado) I generally just wouldn't answer the door to anyone I don't know late at night, whatever they look like.

Yes, of course I read the book. Unfortunately, there isn't anything comparable in real life. There's no place where a man can go and women can't, because their minds would be broken. My point was that your analogy was shitty.
/r/MensRights23/09/11 07:48 PM

Exactly. Everyone in my house, including my dad who is 6'1" and very intimidating, will at least look through the peephole before answering the door, especially at night. Just in case a burglar or rapist is out there, you don't want to blindly let anyone into the house. My dad has had a couple of bad experiences with muggers and he's drilled this into my head a million times. You don't just open the door for anyone alone at night.

You know, you can't really compare your sexism to the Kwisatz Haderach. At all. And, while some of the women in Dune were afraid, some (Chani, anyone?) were not. As some of the men in Dune were cowards, and some were not.

Thank you so much. I have yet to hear anyone state it this way. The problem isn't with the inherent qualities of either gender, the problem is with the inherent qualities of humanity. I think that the unfair advantage women have over men in their child's custody is terrible. But, you can bet if men were in women's position, and women in men's, there would be a hell of a lot of men taking their children away from their mothers. Humans of both sexes have that kind of shit inside them.

My dad is one scary looking mofo (6'2", buzzcut, severe hawkface), and I spent tons of time alone with him when I was at his house after my parent's divorce and before his remarriage. He was never accused of anything.

Yes, I do know that. Men have vasectomies paid for by the government, and once a male birth control pill is produced (this is already close on the horizon) that will be paid for by the government, too. The reason condoms aren't covered is that they are not prescribed by a doctor. I would probably buy condoms and keep them at my house if my boyfriend and I could have sex there. That's an interesting way to think about it. I don't believe by any means that all domestic violence by men happens this way, but it's definitely a true point that violence is not always as simple as an aggressor and a helpless victim.
/r/MensRights12/08/11 06:02 PM

On the contrary, my boyfriend and I split the cost of condoms. Therefore, really the only time you should have to pay completely for your own condoms should be for the eventuality of a one night stand. It's quite possible, even, that many women keep condoms around for that eventuality, due to the fact that you can contract STDs even if you're on the pill.

I hate to say it, but while this may be primarily a men's issue, it affects women as well. I've heard many stories about girls who took nude pictures of themselves that were meant to be very private, and were branded as "child pornographers." For taking nude pictures of themselves. And believe me, I'm a minor and the thought of my bf ever getting in trouble with the law for something like this makes me sick to my stomach. This is a little out of context, but there are other systems that enable one gender to do bad things. For example, in the Middle East, where women can be attacked with acid or stoned for adultery and no legal action will be taken. And yet, I doubt you are an advocate of women's rights in the Middle East. I never said feminists do not do these things, I just said that if you marry any kind of decent person, this will not be an issue. Notice I said feminists, rather than feminism. You know, the whole "women get everything in a divorce" issue is a problem, but it is caused by a few crazy women rather than feminists as a whole. You never hear the "good" divorce stories. My parents divorced when I was 3, and have remained friendly since. I spend half the week at my mother's and half at my father's. At first, I was agreeing with you. But then I saw your comments about women "asking for it." Sure, call me a non-egalitarian feminist if you want, but last time I checked it was perfectly okay to become somewhat intimate with a stranger at a party without intending to have sex with them. Language like "asking for it" is used by men to justify date rape and thus has no place in a comment or editorial that is trying to make a point.

I agree with this. When I'm PMSing I get angry easily and cry easily and generally feel bad half the time. PMS is no excuse for manipulative behavior, but it is an excuse to get angry over things that are seemingly small, which men label as "being a bitch". I'm not saying it's nice, but a good way to think of it is that for 2 or 3 days a month women are temporarily bipolar.

I do admit that feministing was wrong to use the term "rapist." "Assailant" would have been more accurate. But try putting yourself in the girl's position. If you had been raped, or even only assaulted, wouldn't you feel that way? Do you think it would be too lenient of the school just to allow the girl to sit out basketball games?
