Or what pisses me off can be the misinformation. Like I’m glad Cyntoia Brown is out of jail but there was sooo much misinformation and lying about facts when people were campaigning to get her out of jail.

They’ll remove any comments not posted by feminists They also remove comments by feminists if they go against the dogma

But the legal definition of rape involves penetration. We are talking about moral rape not just what would count as rape in the court of law. Laws do not see the whole picture and laws don't dictate how things really happen

Hopefully it isn't too long before all genital mutilation is illegal, baby boys need bodily autonomy

Thank you for this, very in depth!

As someone who knows jack shit about Klobuchar, what are some examples of her being misandrist?

If you can't talk to people and empathise with their business problems, your options in tech are vanishing by the year. Yeah lets kick out all the non neurotypical people from STEM!!
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/01/20 08:51 PM

It sucks, though I am curious, is there a specific example you are talking from?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/01/20 08:49 PM

Do you think internalized misogyny as a frame demonizes men or women? I see them both demonizing the same thing...

there's a 50% chance she "can't look at him in the same way anymore" and will break up with him. I agree with the rest of your comment but how did you reach the 50% number?

"Brogressives"

So it makes it toothless for many forms of sexism

Plus doesn’t the ERA now have a rider that makes it so female privilege can’t be stomped with it, only male?

and that almost all of the misandry comes from TERFs, who are generally holdovers who have traditional ideas of gender and are very regularly called out by mainstream feminists. Most of the hostile misandry might come from TERFs but many other feminists still explicitly endorse it as shown here

Hey! That isn't nice, trash used to be at least useful before turning rotten

I think it's legitimately insane that a dude follows me from another thread in another sub in an attempt to try and provoke me, and you guys jump on board with it. Fair, though he could have just RES tagged you too like I do with people who are somewhat pro MGM in any men's community. I never said that Jewish babies don't have a right to bodily autonomy, just that legislation is not the correct fix. So that is arguing Jewish babies don't deserve the same legal genital autnomy that baby girls are…
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/01/20 08:09 PM
2

It is sad that some MRAs align with those who want to ban Jewish and Islamic religious practice. If a practice mutilates babies then it should be banned regardless of whether or not it is a religious practice
/r/MensRights13/01/20 06:17 PM
2

Nah it is fucking thick (and sexist) to think baby boys shouldn't have genital autonomy, no one should be subjected to genital mutilation
/r/MensRights13/01/20 06:13 PM
1

So I think their comment was unneeded here but from the last chat you had some entitled beliefs too... like certain groups being entitled to less bodily autonomy depending on which religion their parents choose for them
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/01/20 04:56 PM
2

Also I kind of think it is okay and reasonable to put users here on blast if they literally don’t believe baby boys deserve bodily autonomy like the other user was arguing against

Menslib usually just censors the stupid except with the 2 or 3 hundred comment draft thread
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/01/20 04:44 AM
1

Okay if that is what you retort you I see you aren’t worth engaging with, no mental gymnastics needed. You should really read what you post so you can understand what replies are saying
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 11:03 PM
3

I’m not nitpicking just engaging with what you typed. If you can’t defend what you say then don’t say it. When you say “and” it often means you are introducing something that isn’t fully in context
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 10:11 PM

Their hatred for trans people actually stems from their hatred for men. Agreed! I am trans and am alway surprised how many people don't see it
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 09:14 PM
10

I would be so suspicious if a men's issues sub even tolerated TERFs, they are some of the most sexist people out there
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 09:10 PM
5

Then why add the discriminating part in your comment when you already typed out being underpaid? If you omitted the underpaid part I would agree but you said underpaid and discriminated which is you bringing up that extra part.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 09:09 PM
6

You said men were not discriminated against in our society, you said that in addition to unequal pay. And didn't you know for young 20s men and women there is a pay gap in favor of women?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 08:57 PM
5

and discriminated against in our society In many ways yeah be it genital autonomy, selective service, police, the courts, etc.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/01/20 08:49 PM

Check /r/MensGlib to see the 'satire' of how they really think
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/01/20 03:38 PM
2

Being agnostic I see the value in religion but also the toxicity and use my stance to fight that one's religious freedom ends where another body begins. This has massively informed my stance on trying to fight against male genital mutilation

It kind of feels like the analogue to whenever a man gets a laid off the chance of divorce is pretty high compared to the woman getting laid off. They are both failing gender roles in a way
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/01/20 02:31 PM
7

IME they excuse it saying it is at the hands of men so it is the victim’s fault/“Patiarchy backfiring”, even if it is a very gross excuse
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/12/19 09:39 PM
10

I’m always at a loss when idiots defend “men are trash” though thankfully the tides are (slowly) turning
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/12/19 09:31 PM
1

We don’t know that and I am not sure we should argue any sexism is necessary, though again there are so many possibilities with space travel that we can’t say that for sure
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/12/19 09:29 PM
3

While women and children first is sexist and unnecessary, not sure what how much relevance a 100 year old boat crash has...
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates29/12/19 06:08 AM
3

I don’t find those comments bad at all, they do have a point in my opinion, the title makes it seem like it’s a tragedy 29 women died as opposed to the rest
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/12/19 02:56 PM
9

Most examples of "benevolent sexism" is just misandry though...
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/12/19 09:39 PM
1

Right, it is a test, not a procedure. Only place I think is wrong in France is presumptive father should be able to do it himself since it is only a test and not a procedure
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/12/19 10:53 PM
1

But a paternity test isn't a medical procedure or even comparable to those other things...
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/12/19 03:28 PM
3

That thread was awful, the sub is awful at perpetuating sexist male gender roles (or as they call it, Toxic Masculinity)
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates21/12/19 06:43 AM
2

Nah Jewish and Muslim babies deserve bodily autonomy like everyone else
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates20/12/19 09:41 PM
5

No consequences for paternity fraud is sickening which is why I think they should be sent to jail for however long once their child is 18 though gotta love how being a mother is a much bigger reason to keep someone out of jail than being a father Oh and possibly financial reparations to the defrauded party if they seek it
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates20/12/19 09:15 PM
1

If you make 30k a year and are sent to jail for a year, you should be paid $90k+ because you only work a third of the day on average but have to spend all day in jail

I feel like this happens all the time in politics. Something happens to a liberal woman and they assume it was only because a woman. Like with Katie Hill many were saying this would never happen with a man ignoring that Al Franken had to resign over similar things or people thought people complained about Elizabeth Warren 'persisting' because she is a woman but more likely because she is liberal.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/12/19 04:27 PM
2

The controversy was: should schools and other establishments pander to this kind of attitude? T Damn I wish it surprised me people would be sexist in order to pander to a sexist religion
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates18/12/19 02:46 PM

but personally I grew up learning that men are predisposed to cheating and being unromantic, whereas women have more emotional richness and cheat less often. This article on cheating is so interesting, though honestly I think the emotions are one part gender roles and one part actual sex hormones, as someone who has experienced both.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates16/12/19 12:51 AM
1

Do you have a link to the thread?
/r/MensRights13/12/19 09:50 PM
3

Because of the hormones they received in the womb, causing their gender to not match their sex
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 07:36 AM
2

An incongruence with one's gender/mental image and their sex, at least for gender dysphoria
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 07:30 AM
3

Gender dysphoria is the cause of being trans
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 07:28 AM
2

What? Both? So many things are causing lower reproduction and trans people are among the last. I’d put low wages, debt, and the housing market all before trans people
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 07:01 AM
5

It's a red herring if you really want to talk about low birth rates
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 05:58 AM
5

I mean many things do but I doubt 1% of the population is even in the top 20 reasons birth rates are lower right now
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 04:56 AM
3

The horror?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 04:54 AM
2

What is the agenda?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/11/19 04:27 AM
16

something something equality feeling like oppression
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates28/08/19 03:54 PM
2

I love the idea of this sub but if you want it to take off, but double replying to someone who disagrees with you 3 times in a thread could definitely make some less inclined to comment. Just edit on to your comment
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates08/08/19 03:50 AM

Maybe bodily autonomy for baby boys and those who don't want to sign up to die in someone else's war, def not equal there and those are simple changes through legislature
/r/MensRights14/07/19 07:26 PM
1

Men don't nee equal genital autonomy that women get? Or even their bodily autonomy? Or equal sentences for the same crimes?
/r/MensRights14/07/19 07:25 PM

How do we know he was bashing women, it only said he cared about the rights of men
/r/MensRights14/07/19 07:24 PM
1

Doesn't make me the authority but definitely gives me a unique experience. Not everyone is the same but there are definitely trends in talking about male vs female nipples I've had exes that couldn't stand a pinch on the nipple and I've had exes that would insult you at anything short of bruises on those mammaries. But they still like them sexually where most men I know don't find them sexual at all
/r/PussyPass10/07/19 12:20 AM
5

Men receive just as sexual pleasure from having our nipples played with Yeah I am trans and can tell you after developing nipples on hormones that is a load of bull
/r/PussyPass09/07/19 08:15 PM
1

Am trans and while I think calling is transmisogyny is some situations is useful, it is pretty much always misandry. That is why TERFs hate trans women so much, because they hate men the most and view them as men invading their spaces
/r/MensRights16/05/19 04:40 PM
2

Should women not be able to wear pants like men then?
/r/MensRights06/08/18 03:37 PM
1

It's like when companies wouldn't let women wear pants
/r/MensRights06/08/18 03:36 PM

She was never bad in 30 Rock, one episode she complained less women were on Death Row
/r/MensRights04/06/18 05:42 AM

I am pretty sure it did in 2005...
