It's certainly not a troll post! I don't think all women are like this; I think most of the women in this sub are very faithful and committed to their SOs, and do not find this to be particularly onerous. I hope that I can develop comparable attitudes and.... be more than, as you characterize me, a plate. Although I found this post to be quite unhelpful, I appreciate you taking the time to comment. Have a lovely afternoon!

This is a lovely post. Thanks for taking the time to share (and I hope your hiatus from RPW doesn't last too long!)

Wow, thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful post. Your third point was actually right on the money, in my case; my primary temptation, presently, is a man who is my superior and mentor. I hadn't realized that this was so common. Thank you so much, again. I wish you luck in all of your future endeavours!

Yes, actually, I was quite alright with being monogamous until my brother died. I don't want to say that this is the reason, though; I feel disinclined to.. externalize it, when really, I know this this is my own lack of virtue. I appreciate your advice concerning avoiding triggering situations. This is what I have been doing, but I find it ... very tempting to accept a request to enter one of these situations.

I don't mean to seem lighthearted; I just wanted to keep my post short and to the point. I appreciate your harshness. It's totally welcomed and, given the content of my post, expected. Thanks for your response.

All of this is terrific advice. I'd just like to add one more thing - naturally, you feel inclined to text him open-ended, response-demanding text messages, e.g.; "What are you doing? How was your day?" I would suggest, if you feel like contacting him but want to avoid demanding his attention when he's not prepared to give it, texting him something like: "thinking of you!" or "just reminding you of how handsome you are!" He will appreciate telling you about his time at UCLA if you allow him to d…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
