It's not just "someone bigger than you", it's a police officer. His safety was not in danger to the point he had to slam down that woman.

I agree it was excessive. There was no need for that kind of possible injury. Police need to restrain themselves and not lash out and slam some weak person to the ground if they can do it much safer. I'd even say a taser would have been a better option.
