Lifting for fat complete beginnersYou can find all sorts of information about this but here’s a decent explanation much better than I can provide on my own: Women do better with higher reps Untrained men and women have the same fiber type distribution. This changes with training: in strength training women, muscle fibers are converted to type I fibers or don’t convert at all, whereas in men they generally change to type IIa fibers. Women also have proportionally larger type I fibers than men. The result is that women are more re… | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/06/20 08:14 PM
What do you do when you REALLY want something, but your husband says no?You state you are heartbroken. And as far as I can tell he’s actually asking you to compromise on your values of caring for an animal. Not only that, he’s asking to go get another one. To me this shows a lack of commitment to things you care about including you op, if he won’t even listen to your point of view without getting defensive. If you can’t even talk to him about things that make you uncomfortable how can you feel safe with him? I get it, we all have things we need to heal. But if he ca… | /r/RedPillWives | 15/05/20 02:31 AM
What do you do when you REALLY want something, but your husband says no?You know I read a lot on this sub and though I do agree with the concepts full heartedly, when I read through some of the answers I just get really depressed. It’s almost like I either need to choose between having a man/husband and completely loosing myself and my voice and any opinion or thought I might have via STFU or be alone. Thank you for your well thought out answer. The fact that she said he becomes defensive at the vaguest suggestion of criticism is concerning and the fact that many co… | /r/RedPillWives | 15/05/20 12:14 AM
Do you girls know any clothing brand that are both comfy and feminine?I second this. I always thought women who said they hated dresses kinda dumb. These are the same women who can’t wait to get home and get out of their pants. Even men hate wearing pants. Well We’re one step ahead of everyone! No pants. And you definitely look so much better put together with less effort and also less money. You just buy a dress... not a pant and shirt. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 11:59 PM
Lifting for fat complete beginnersThe walking helps with that but I found lifting really heavy just totally sucked all the negativity right out of me like nothing else. Just totally zen’d me out. Even at 70lbs I’d say stick with the weights especially at our age (I’m 35) we start to deal with stuff like collagen loss and elasticity... etc. And that’s just the issues on the outside. As you age being strong becomes more and more important to prevent Injury and death. Ugh. Aging... grateful I get the opportunity cus not all of us g… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 04:22 PM
Lifting for fat complete beginnersLook into progressive overload which is the fancy art of how to keep increasing the weight. Someone else mentioned a simple routine and this is true. Keep it simple to start and as you become more confident and comfortable you can switch it up. I also recommend you do full body workouts to start and don’t do leg/arm day... aka “bro splits”. As a female our muscles are put together differently so you can handle going more often. Also look into HIIT. High intensity interval training. You can do th… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 02:59 PM
Lifting for fat complete beginnersYes, it’s 80% food 20% exercise. Unfortunately if you don’t do weights or go a cardio route and have a lot of weight to loose you end up a saggy sack of skin. Genetics and age also play a role... but if she has 100lbs or more to loose... she wants to do weights. Also, the more muscle you have on you, the more weight you burn at rest. Also exercise has a mental/emotional component that should not be dismissed. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/05/20 02:40 PM
So, what if you're into military type men?Nothing wrong with having a type. From what you describe it seems like you are into the qualities that military type men can offer. Handy, knowledgeable, independent and capable. All very attractive qualities. All I would say is don’t glorify them though, they aren’t all the same and just because they’ve been military doesn’t automatically mean they have the above qualities. And also they come with their own set of problems and you need to be aware of this. And you also need to get properly. I l… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/04/20 03:15 PM
Anxiety wearing dresses, skirts ect... Any advice? (Plus size)I used to be morbidly obese and I’m very tall. I was and still am, almost always in a dress. If anything I found dresses covered up the things I didn’t like and helped me have more of a shape. Especially if I used little belts at the waist. Like everyone you’ll have to experiment to see what shapes and styles flatter you best. Structured fabrics worked better because they wouldn’t cling to the bad parts as much. I liked “fit and flare” styles as I’m wide in the hips and it covered my pouch. If y… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/04/20 02:00 AM
How to/when to negotiate?Hi, After writing all that junk about blinds I kind of had a thought. A lot of people have posted solid advice but I just wanted to add a thought as a previous blind expert. If this is your first home together he’s very likely in a state of shock as to how expensive decorating and maintaining a home is. Keep this in mind. Which may explain some of his douchyness but doesn’t excuse it. But I did want to point something out that may not be evident. He’s playing video games in the living room he wa… | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/04/20 04:36 AM
How to/when to negotiate?Because like the other commenter said most windows are in fact not standard. Especially when doing an inside mount you’re technically supposed to measure the width at the bottom, middle and top because they often aren’t perfectly level and you run into problems like the blind not coming completely down because it gets jammed in the window frame. Cellular blinds are almost always inside mount and look fairly terrible outside mount because they are thick and the honeycomb profile is not nice to lo… | /r/RedPillWomen | 23/04/20 04:26 AM
How to/when to negotiate?Hi, I used to sell blinds for a living a long time ago. Just thought I’d add that unfortunately 200$ per cellular blind is about right if custom which I’m assuming these are. Some brands are cheaper than others and then the fabric choice and honeycomb thickness will play into it as well. Mechanism upgrades etc... Not that any of this is relevant. Others have already provided proper advice for the actual problem. I just wanted to mention for those wondering if these prices are legit or not. They … | /r/RedPillWomen | 22/04/20 11:02 PM
Being a stay at home mom has been ruining my marriageYes. Actually he sounds downright abusing and neglectful. He sounds like he plays the blame game, gaslights.... tells her she’s selfish for wanting affection and sex. He sounds like my ex. Hope OP gets help. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/04/20 12:47 AM
Shopping for DressesYou should checkout additionelle. They are Canadian but they ship to the US. They have a lot of nice fashion forward dresses. | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/01/20 03:43 AM
Shopping for DressesI’m 5’10 People don’t recognize me when I’m wearing pants because I’m always in a dress. My preferred length is the midi. It’s a length that flatters tall women best. I’m not huge on the maxi either. Midi can look a little more formal but the fabric and over all cut makes a big difference along with accessories. Belts, shoes and jewelry can dramatically change the overall vibe of a dress. A plain black midi dress can be dressed up with heals and pearls and a little black belt, maybe a nice cardi… | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/01/20 03:37 AM
