It sounds like he did, and you're misunderstanding what he said. The trend may be headed towards men being a more powerful market player for laundry detergent, but if someone who works in advertisement told you "Women control the laundry detergent market," at least for the near future it would be prudent for you to act with that assumption in mind. Maybe in 5 years change your strategy, but selling to a market that doesn't yet exist is suboptimal and frankly stupid.

Being able to cold approach is like the ultimate speed dating experience: At any time or in any place, every woman is potentially sitting in her "speed dating" seat, ready for you to approach her. You just need to know how to set that up. And you don't waste your time with the hordes of unattractive people at actual speed dating events.

Not to mention that she probably has no idea what "obese" means. One of my buddies is 6'4" 300 lbs, ex college football player, still squatting 600lb+ You don't fuck with that.

Less likely to go for the "broke artist" type, unless she's in a rebellious phase; most of these girls are palpably aware of their need to lock down someone with a promising future. They'll go nuts over your wealth and status, even if you have no intention of sharing it with them.

While clothes alone won't get the job done, they're a huge boost. They're kind of like muscles that you can buy: They give you a more masculine, powerful vibe They set you apart from the masses of clueless guys They represent a big investment in yourself (money + some time, as opposed to almost pure time for lifting) They make you feel confident, creating a positive feedback loop Can you get laid without nice shit? Totally. Just like you can get laid with a shit body. But why rob yourself of a h…

I've had friends tell me that my calorie counting and meal planning is "crazy" and they "would never be that obsessed," with disdain just dripping in their tone, like they're superior for not trying so hard, like I'm wasting my time. I always shrug, smile, and say, "that's why you look like you, and I look like me."

this will give them a taste of what its like for the 20y.o male who just wants to be in a loving LTR in his 20s I'm in college and this was me until a few years ago. I would have given anything to take girls out to nice dinners, flowers, chocolates, fancy valentine's day plans, the whole deal. I tried it and got shit on every time. EVERY time. Yeah, I'm 6' and often find myself attracted to the few girls who are my height or taller. It's nerve-wracking for a while, until you realize that each of them is still a scared little girl deep down, and that you don't need a few inches of height to be able to steer her along. Then there's the bonus that most of them are insecure about their height. They'll shit test you for not being taller than them, but agree & amplify is a near-killing-blow for these girls, who often wish they were <5'10"

Thinly veiled bitching and moaning thread. Get the fuck over yourself and stop leaning on the crutch of your height to explain your lack of game. Also who gives a fuck if sorority girls don't like short guys (even if that were true)? Who's to say all guys like sorority girls? As far as I'm concerned, your photos just show a bunch of basic bitches who average a 6 and peak with the occasional 8. Nothing remarkable.

I'm similar except that I've always been a bit of a bum when it came to work (high school was a breeze, and I preferred slightly lower grades over increased study time in college), so I've always had a model for being a slacker. When I started studying on my own, playing instruments, learning languages, lifting weights, etc., it was already a habit to downplay whatever effort I put in. With that being said there's nothing stopping you from talking about what you've been learning, as long as you …

Good post. One of Greene's main points about this issue is that, if you give someone a full rundown of what you're doing and how you're doing it, they'll convince themselves that they could do it, "if they really wanted to." Because, technically, physically, they probably could; but there's no way for them to imagine the willpower and psychological strength that is also necessary, so they will diminish your efforts.

Pure monk mode definitely isn't a complete loss: Like you said, girls will be more aggressive towards you, but the number of girls who do that is still fairly small. I've had a few such situations, with a girl being really forward with me in one way or another, but ultimately I prefer having the game to approach girls I like, rather than hope they choose me. Still, at least you're not 100% screwed. Good to hear you're on the right path, man. Keep it up.

I'll approach when I can look myself in the mirror and not be disgusted. NOPE not gonna work. Maybe if your current mentality was "Hey I'm in pretty good shape, but I could use some work," you would be okay. But if you hate your physical self, this will stay with you to the end. I'm 6', ~215 pounds. 27" quads. I'm "the big guy" in any friend group I'm a part of. Everyone jokes that I'm "done" with working out. You get the idea. And you know what? I fucking hate it. Hopefully someone with more experience will come along and give a more comprehensive answer, but here are a few points I can make. Regarding your analysis so far: I was self conscious about my money situation. Use this. Ever hear that PUA story of the guy who unknowingly hit on girls all night with mustard on his face or something like that? It made him realize that he didn't have to look perfect to pull girls. Good post. A few things I think worth emphasizing (or contradicting): Absolutely right about not judging a book by its cover. On the one hand, a beggar won't know proper social etiquette. On the other hand, etiquette can be taught, and beauty crops up everywhere. Loads of models are borderline abducted from shitty Russian towns because poor peasants are still having daughters who are remarkably attractive.

As a non-American college student living in America, I think this is just what you see on the surface. The "hot girls joining sororities" line is perpetuated because the girls who fit this stereotype are also the loudest girls out there. There are still plenty of girls who join sororities but aren't attractive (in fact there are whole "ugly girl" sororities), and still quite a few attractive girls who don't join sororities at all, and have similarly weird/off-beat/diverse interests as attractive…

It's cyclical. Maybe women started it with feminism, but now it's going back and forth: Women don't try as hard to be attractive, men spend less effort in being a "catch," women see no need to improve themselves or offer more than their looks, men start giving up and just playing video games, etc. With that being said there's no use whining about what women are doing, or even what men in general are doing. You can only change what you're up to, and frankly the bar is set hilariously low. Wear a …

Dress well. There is no easier way to place yourself at the top of the pecking order in normal society, and being at the top has massive advantages. It's funny how easy this is, and at the same time how rarely it's utilized. Combine it with good manners and a calm demeanor, and you're golden. Every video, whether in a movie or real, where some shit goes down, the women just shriek while the guys at most yell "Oh shit!" and try to deal with the situation. Women in general are useless in times of conflict. Instead of solving, they panic.

Honestly this surprises me, but I just met up with an old buddy and his girlfriend who live in Montreal, and both of them were almost shockingly RP. Just a few highlights (and they both agreed on all of these): Both men and women should put effort into their appearances, none of this "love me for who I am" shit Women have a narrow window in which to find a good man American women tend to be unattractive, yet ironically entitled If you're a woman who doesn't take care of herself, you don't "deser…

At that point it'll depend on personal preferences of the girls, and specifics about the two guys. You're at the point in the metaphorical application process where you both have equal GPAs and LSAT scores, and your personal essays and the whims of your interviewers decide who gets in and who doesn't. Loads of reasons. Just a few here: Being a creative type demands that you have some purpose/objective/interest that defines you more than any woman does. This is interesting and different compared to most guys who don't really do anything, and gladly turn their lives upside down for a girl. Kinda going off the above, these people do stuff. Most guys just loaf around and have no real interests, which is boring and replaceable. "Issues" are a woman's bread and butter. I'm not saying that someone a…

Get emotional. Sadness is fine as long as you let it transform into rage. If you're doing curls, you don't really need that adrenaline rush, but for squats and deadlifts I keep a few audio tracks on my phone or quotes in my memory that, for one reason or another, make me tremble with adrenaline before starting a set.

Really not a big deal. Let fail the ones who will fail, but don't be a dick to people just because they're new. "Hey man mind curling somewhere else so I can squat?" That a chick with a high notch count is somehow just as badass as a man with a high notch count. I have a female friend who tries to use her "number" as evidence that she's not only attractive, but more attractive than me, because her number (she presumes) is higher than mine. Every time she brings it up, it makes me laugh and try to explain that it doesn't make her attractive at all, because most guys will fuck anything. She comes off as pathetic.

Probably for the same reason they don't have personalities of their own: They never had to develop any. Why do you do cool shit? Why do I do cool shit? Because some time ago when we were bored or looking for ways to fill our time, we thought "Fuck it I'll try bodybuilding or rock climbing or origami or cooking or piano, since I have the time for it anyway." Good for you man. I was the weird kid, the one who spent nearly all of his time by himself. It's funny how this is supposedly such a terrible thing. What few people realize is that there are few ways in which you can invest in yourself if you're around other people all the time. Sure, you'll be fun and social and have a good sense of humor (maybe), but you can't read or learn languages if you're always just out and about, having a good time.

We grow and bond through conflict, which is why so much of our culture (not on a national scale, but as an entire gender) is based on war, and to some diluted extent during peace, sports. Considering the rarity and general pussification of widely accessible sports, and the huge political undertones of joining the military, the only official system we still really have is fraternities. I enjoyed the hell out of Greene's first three big books, and if you like how "33 Strategies" is structured, I highly recommend "The 48 Laws of Power" for an overall guidebook, and "The Art of Seduction" for dealing more intimately with people (but not necessarily in a romantic way). Beyond that, I recommend just making a note of anything that Greene quotes in his books, since they're really just anthologies/meta-analyses of existing texts. Lots of common sayings are horse shit that only gets repeated by people who are too thick to stop and think for themselves. Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? What's the moral there? "Slow and steady wins the race," right? Nope. More like kick the shit out of your opposition, but don't let your ego trip you up. Don't be an idiot and you'll beat "slow and steady" every time. I would agree with you right away if that response was a blanket one, and/or if it came from girls who seem like the type to be most familiar with arrogant guys, but it's the opposite. The aggressive, sluttier girls go nuts and try a bunch of angles to get in my pants if I'm not interested right away. And it's the nicer, less experienced girls who say they don't want to be another notch on the bedpost. I'm not suggesting that it's NOT a shit test, but I am saying that I think it's because of war…

Depends if you mean "a guy who's nice" or "a Nice GuyTM" Few women will be unreceptive to you being sweet and romancey. But similarly few women will keep you around if that's all you do. Yup, I've had issues with nicer/cuter/less bitchy girls thinking I'm just trying to get my dick wet. "I don't want to be another one of your girls," etc. Those girls would typically settle in with a nicer guy, whereas the bitchier girls would scare away a guy like that, or just eat him alive. Comedy isn't nearly as one-sided as you seem to think it is. You're right that it's a BS defensive tactic...in some cases. "Cocky funny" isn't one of them; it doesn't advocate supplicating, self-deprecating humor, but rather a calm humor delivered from a position of security and sense of self worth. It's being funny because you think something is funny, rather than being funny because you're trying to evoke a reaction from someone. It's the one place that explicitly argues against putting women on a pedestal and sacrificing your life and desires just to please them. Yup, we see this almost daily, with guys being called out as assholes for being fed up as orbiters. "Why can't you be like you were before blah blah blah." If that weren't bad enough, I think this is the one place on reddit that consistently suggests that sexual history is an important factor. That opinion shows up sometimes on other subs, but it's spotty.

Why drop the whole program? If your chest is booming, just get everything else to catch up. If you're doing higher weight, lower rep, try adding in some higher rep, lower weight. Focus on negatives especially on arms. If something is out of proportion, instead of downsizing the good part to match the rest, make everything else grow and catch up. If you're bald, you no longer have anything to worry about with steroid use. 5'6" and shredded as FUCK is better than 5'6" and flabby. Will some bitch say that you're overcompensating? Absolutely. Get over it. Same thing happens when a guy buys a motorcycle or has a fancy watch. You say that these girls screen you to make sure you're not a "bad boy." Ask yourself: Do you want to be one? Because 5'6" and bald doesn't necessitate that you're someone's bitch. If your physique and social skills are …

Not sure exactly where, but somewhere within the first 20 chapters, probably between 10 and 20, in a telling of a story regarding the characters Torralba and Lope.

I came across and noted this same passage just a few days ago, except my version reads a bit differently. "As soon as Torralba saw that Lope scorned her, she fell in love with him, even though she'd never been at all fond of him before that." "That is the way with woman," said Don Quixote: "to disdain the man who loves her and to love the man who disdains her."

And even if there are strong links in being attracted to men who could be "hunters," at least part of our brains have moved beyond that, and not everything about your appearance has to cater to that thousand year old lizard brain that wants a big bad caveman. Stuff like glasses or dressing nicely or having trimmed fingernails doesn't necessarily make you low SMV; it just gives you more options for how you want to present yourself. I see where you're coming from, but did you read all of the original Rolling Stone article? It goes into a fair bit of detail about how she dropped out of school for a while, didn't even tell her mom what happened for months afterwards, became withdrawn and anti-social, and only contacted the magazine almost two years after the party, and after slowly realizing that other girls at the university had similar stories and were all too scared to be the ones to speak up. Ahaha no. If you're doing strength, your best bet will be 1x5, 1x3, or some heavy singles. 10x10 "strength endurance" is a great way to fuck your back five ways to Sunday; you're either using enough weight that you exhaust yourself and risk bad form and snapping your shit up, or you're using less weight and you may as well be doing cardio. Sometimes after I finish a 1x5 working set, I'll deload to a significantly lower weight and smash out 3x5 or 3x8 depending on how I feel, and even that's enou…

Christ that was fucking grim, but it really hit home. All of that gradeschool handholding kumbaya bullshit is a great way to raise girls and boys who act like girls. 20 years later we all look around and ask "where are all the good men?" Patrice O'Neal had a great bit about this. In short, he asked the women in the audience what they would do to keep their men interested in them if they could no longer have vaginal sex. The answers were all basically anal sex and blowjobs. Patrice then asked some variant of, "Why do you expect men to treat you with respect when all you see yourself as is a bunch of holes? A sudden character overhaul would be a real shock, and would probably not be well received. With that in mind, start slow and pick up speed as you see fit. "feminism and how the world takes power from women" Taking power from women? Why do men have power? Because we took it. We fought wars for it. We killed each other for it. We earned it. Whatever power women had was given to them after the men came home from work. To say that the world has taken power from them would suggest that they had any power of their own in the first place. Yup, looks/clothes/hair alone won't get you the girl, but they WILL help you get your foot in the door and let you start a real conversation, because girls will be much more open to your initial approach, especially when they're coupled with a disarming compliment that she's never heard before. Solid, solid post. I'm in college and also very detail oriented (interested in fashion and fitness for a few years, so I ignore nothing physical about myself), and have used this to my great advantage. Even making a fairly vanilla compliment will carry infinitely more weight coming from you if you seem like you know what you're doing. For example, if some schmuck with baggy jeans and a hoodie tells a girl her outfit is cute, she says "thanks" and that's it. Why? Because it's obviously a line. Sh…

Man has sex with woman? Doesn't even matter what she says, let's just hunt him down for rape ASAP. Woman RAPES man? Pfft no evidence, who cares, don't worry about it, he was asking for it, etc. "Don't victim blame" really just means "Don't try to make women responsible for anything ever." Pathetic.

Emphasis on MODELING the behavior. Show, don't tell. It's vastly different for a dad to say, "Hey you should play sports son," as opposed to saying, "Hey son, let me show you how to play football like I did back in the day. Then you can come work out with me."

Great post. Anyone who hasn't heard of anything like this should seriously read Art of Seduction. Oh, I know that the standard normal distribution is widely applicable, but again your choice of standard deviation makes it arbitrary. Everything else is pure math, but that one part is just pure "eh that seems about right." Also when I say that a 7 is hotter than 70% of women I've known, that's because I'm comparing her to all the women I've known. We're just using different scales for different things: I'm using percentiles to compare a woman with women I've seen before, and you're using proba…

A standard normal distribution is just fine to apply, but the kink in your theory is blindly deciding that one standard deviation = 1 "point." I've thought about this myself, and on one hand enjoy that application, because the hotter a girl is, the rarer she is. It seems to align fairly well with a typical set of "high standards." However, when it comes to girls out of the "holy shit" level of hotness, I find it easier to discuss them in terms of percentiles. A 7 might not be super hot, but it's…

Totally agree. I'm 6' and am often attracted to girls very nearly my height (or taller). One of my favorite lines to drop on tall girls is to point out how hot it is for them to wear heels. There's always an immediate change in tone. Those are really hyped up symptoms largely used as scare tactics to make kids thing that steroids are evil. In the overwhelming majority of situations, the worst thing you would deal with is shrunken balls for a few months while you're on steroids--and even that is a symptom that can easily be avoided if it's too big of a deal for you. Squeeze shoulder blades back a bit like you're doing half a row. This is key as girls are attracted to back muscles. If anyone has any doubts about this, try it while halfway looking back into a mirror. It only feels weird because you've been standing like an asshole your whole life; pull back your shoulders just a little bit and your back will square out and look MUCH more full.

they think I'm in show business or at the very least I remind them of someone famous (and usually they can't name anyone, to them I just look like someone who could be famous, but not necessarily anyone in particular) Damn, I've been getting this too. Just a few days ago, a woman asked me if I'm an actor, because I have "that look." Then she said, "Well, how does an actor even look?" I grinned and said, "Like me." And she replied, "Yeah...dramatic." I'll count that as a success.

it's a signed document whereas she's just accusing him sans proof Oh honey. You must be new to prenups. They don't mean shit; they can get thrown out for any reason, and if a woman is crazy enough to try that shit, she (and her lawyers) will find a way to get it done. Just don't get married. You can do a LTR without the legal document. As for your decreasing test, just start cruising a low dose of test-e courtesy of your friendly neighborhood anabolics dealer.

Blue pill music won't make you blue pill, but if you're blue pill, it can keep you blue pill. I would take this further and say that almost blue pill ANYTHING won't make you blue pill if you hold your frame. Almost any blue pill action can be accommodated by a strong RP frame.

Learn to spell "accrue" Stop approaching college like a shrewd investor looking for connections, and start approaching college like a friendly guy who wants to have fun. Right now you might sound "RP," but it seems like you're taking it to way too much of an extreme, and it's probably not going to work; you're just going to look like an asshole for only befriending the "high value" people. Everyone in college wants to have fun, and if you walk around insisting to only hit on the top 1% of girls …

This is why gorgeous girls are usually dumb as a box of rocks: they have the cheat code to life and they don't need to grow a personality. Also why even the average girls aren't funny at all. They might not be stunners, but they still have enough to get by without having to develop a sense of humor.

Depends on what your goal is. I'm in a small college, so my goal is usually to make a great impression to take advantage when I inevitably see the girl again. With that in mind, I act just as I would if she were alone, except I enjoy the added benefits of her friends being around her. Being direct and friendly is surprisingly rare, and is usually met with favorable responses if you're at least okay looking. So I just pop in with an "Excuse me," say something nice and insightful, exchange names, …

I can't claim to be well-versed in dread game, but from what I understand, there's active and passive dread. Active is flirting with the waitress, letting her friends hit on you, etc. Passive dread game is just having high SMV that indicates that you have options and can leave at any time, and it sounds like that's what you're doing. Passive dread seems to be ideal, since it'll keep the girl in line to the point that you never need to crank it up to active dread game. Remember, if she's talking …

Women act just like crabs: whenever they see someone happier than them, they intentionally pull that person back down. Have you noticed the girls your age always seem to be cutting each other down to get on top, rather then building themselves up? And think about how brutal that treatment is. I'm 6' and still get nagging thoughts about it because I'm usually attracted to girls around that same height. She knows you can't change your height, and maybe she'll be a bitch about it, but I think that at the end of the day, many girls, if not most, would prefer being with an average guy who didn't give a fuck over a taller guy who was insecure. Germany or Austria? Mate, you have to read up on culture (or better yet, visit first). There are very few black people in Central/Eastern Europe. Like...REALLY few. My mom's friend from Austria recently visited, and was commenting on how many black people there are in NYC. When asked how many black people she had back in Austria, she thought... and thought... and finally said, "Oh there's one who works at my old job about 20 miles away!" If you look like you fit into a genre you will be more attractive within it. Agreed. You might have less universal appeal, but people into that look will be really into you. On kind of that note, I like really tall girls: Girls who are "too tall" for most guys, so their general appeal is lower than an average height girl, but as someone who's into that kind of body type, they're REALLY attractive to me. If someone takes a crack at you for being young, call them out for being on their last leg, or jokingly mention how you saw him being an old geezer and napping at his desk. Work out a few hours before you want to go to sleep. If I can't make it to the gym due to an injury or something, I spend at least an hour in bed unable to fall asleep. Work legs or back, and/or go for a run afterwards, and you'll be knocked the fuck out. Within just a few days you'll find your sleep more fulfilling, and you'll naturally start waking up earlier. Although I'm sure you've come a long way since these stories, everyone with a "she was out of my league" experience should keep this in mind: http://i.imgur.com/PZSawxQ.png We feel down because we try and sometimes fail. Nah man, fuck that. A big part of success with weightlifting is learning the form, so even on a bulk you'd spend the first few weeks at a low weight just getting a hang of the movements. If you only do bodyweight for now, you'll only slow down your future progress. Form is something that takes months to feel really comfortable with, so it's in your best interest to start learning it ASAP.
/r/TheRedPill21/08/14 12:46 AM
1

If you're just starting, you'll still gain "strength" because you'll rapidly improve your form with all your exercises; among other things, that's what helps give you "noob gains." You won't get as strong as you'd be if you started on a bulk, which can be disheartening, but if you're fat you don't need strength. Also, bodyweight movements like dips and pullups will become easier as you cut.
/r/TheRedPill20/08/14 09:08 PM

Do you want to gain weight or lose weight? If you add calories, you gain weight, in both muscle and fat. Fat doesn't "turn into" muscle. If you remove calories, you lose weight, in both muscle and fat (mostly fat if you do it safely). If you're fat, losing fat will do way more for you looks than gaining some more muscle.

the woman will look for a way to be attracted to it. This is the key. Women are on the cusp of begging men to lie to them and convince them that they really are living their fantasy lives. There's too strong a culture of "Just play your role in society" in Japan. That used to mean "Hey, you make arrows for the soldiers. You make armor for the soldiers. You grow food for everyone to eat. And you go fight and die." Now the goal is economic prosperity, which isn't bad by any means, but it's far more easily tainted by female ideals. It's no longer "kill or be killed"; it's "succeed to make money to support your family to keep your wife happy to keep your marriage intact to have sex fr…

Yeah, I'm not big on the whole "Well your people did this to us ages ago so I hate you" thing. My mom is still kind of wary of Germans, having grown up hearing first-hand stories of the war, but Germany has my top pick of women in the world, and I'm thinking about living there eventually.

And then they'll wonder why they're never satisfied with their providers. Did you hear about Jeff Goldblum's recent engagement? The dude is a badass 61 year old engaged to a 31 year old, and then you have these 32 year old women planning on settling down at near-40. Good luck to them; I've never considered myself enough of a gambling man to take a risk like that.

Because unless you're small as fuck or on loads of gear, you're not 5%. 5% is where the bodybuilding pros compete, and I don't mean the physique guys, but the mass monsters. If you're roiding that's fine, but if you're actually small enough to maintain that bf%, you're too small to brag about your body. You might be 10% or even 8%, but $5 says you're not 5%. Check out /r/bodybuilding if you want to get your shit straight.

This isn't introversion; it's fear of socializing. There's a big difference between preferring alone time and being totally unable to function with other people. You can be a healthy, fun, functional introvert. Force yourself to socialize until it stops being scary. Allow yourself alone time, but don't let it take over your life.

And there's the difference between the people who say "college is the best part of your life" and those of us who just see it as another step forward. So many people claim that college helps prepare them for adult life, yet they do nothing to actually plan ahead. They don't cook for themselves, they wear sweats to class, they neglect their health, and they maintain schedules and lifestyles that are totally unsustainable in real life.

Hell, you can re-invent yourself every year in college, or even every semester; the month-long winter breaks commonly afforded to undergrads provide plenty of time to get the ball rolling on fixing shit that's broken or adding something new. I'm about to wrap up undergrad, and I've been repeatedly told stuff like, "You look different every time I see you," because I'm constantly growing and building myself. I think college is a perfect time to aggressively mold yourself.

My mom is basically a RP, alpha guy. Just yesterday she was jokingly talking smack to me for buying gifts for girls back in high school, pointing out how stupid I was to throw down so much money and get so little in return, when, as she says, "Girls are sleeping with guys for nothing at all." When I said I had learned my lesson and would rather go out to a nice dinner with my buddies, and buy flowers for my place rather than some girl, she said, "Good, you're getting smarter." Too much of the shit I hate in girls is linked to being dependent on their friends. Red flags are any behavior like looking for approval before acting, saying shit like "I have to be there for her," or being in a sorority. Anything like that is way too highly correlated with flaking out for the sake of her friends, letting her friends get too involved between you two, or backing out because "my friend kind of likes you and I don't want to hurt her feelings." I don't want to date part of a group.…

Totally agree on all counts. Women can't really handle criticism. Holy shit, yes. One time I saw a chubby female friend of mine (same girl who whined and pleaded when I refused to sleep with her because of her weight) snacking on some junk food, so I asked her if she was trying to stay fat forever. No contempt in my voice, just asking a question. She got pissy and yelled at me. Later she explained that "You can't say stuff like that." Not even that. I recently picked up Muay Thai (kickboxing) with a friend of mine who also had no prior experience. Even just lightly sparring each other, it was weird as fuck to see fists coming toward your face, even when you know you're going light and you're wearing gloves.

Almost anything you enjoy can be done as part of a group. Cooking classes, rock climbing groups, bands or just jam sessions with a guitar, etc. Rather than trying to pick up a bunch of new hobbies, try to use your existing ones. While BJJ/Muay Thai might be out of the question due to your knees, you can still try traditional western boxing.

I have no plans to get married, no matter the girl, but as far as higher quality women, yes. Without a doubt. Don't get me wrong, VERY few people don't drink at all. Cold approach. Social circles are HUGE tools for meeting new people, but if that's not your cup of tea, you don't have to be stuck out in the cold. Most people only meet friends through existing friends. They'll pick up someone new in a new class each semester, or someone new joins one of their clubs, but that's about it. Considering that we, as men, are extremely visual creatures (i.e., a girl being attractive is all it takes for us to want to know more), that's awfully inefficient. Have you ev…

"The 48 Laws of Power" is a book by Robert Greene. He's the same guy who wrote "Art of Seduction," "33 Strategies of War" and "Mastery." 48 Laws is a set of "rules" that Greene derived from independent study of history and its notable people. Each chapter is its own law, and usually gives examples of people who followed the law to success, people who broke it and paid the price, the law in "pure" theory rather than shown in examples, interesting side stories from history relevant to the law, and…

You sound half crazy, but you do have a point. A huge part of the American economy and lifestyle is dependent on growth, growth, growth. That's why we're fine with piling on more debt; as long as our growth outperforms our increasing debts, we're fine. While the biggest factor by far to determining a country's GDP is their productivity per laborer, loss of labor, rather than expected gain, would be a huge blow, and genuinely could cripple and possibly even collapse the economy down the line.

Not only is congruency with your personality important from your date's perspective (so you don't look like you're a fake fuck), it helps you feel comfortable. If you force yourself to go beyond your norm, there are only so many steps you can take before you start second-guessing small shit that shouldn't even matter.

Exactly. I'm fine with expensive if I enjoy it (and I really love that stuff; I feel at home in nice restaurants), but if I'm going to be penalized for it, I'd rather "hang out" with a girl and go out to eat by myself or with a buddy.

women are literally flooding the market with pussy because it's "empowering". That reminds me of a Dave Chappelle line that said basically the same thing, and was followed by "Pussy plummeted today on the NASDAQ...gold up six points."

Seriously, when's the last time an "old fashioned" date with a hint of "courtship" got you anywhere? I love nice restaurants, fancy food, and evening walks. I'd be thrilled if that's all I needed to create and maintain fun relationships, but it's not. Like you said, they ended this. Spend enough time yelling at guys for complimenting you on the street, and one day you're going to be very, very alone, wondering where all the "good men" have gone.

Under 5' and 30-40 pounds overweight isn't chubby; that's a wrecking ball on legs.

And why not have both? What's so great about being a pudgy rich guy, when you could almost just as easily be a shredded rich guy? I mean I see your point about getting enough attention as it is (and that's great), but why intentionally prevent yourself from becoming more impressive and interesting? It's like saying you're famous, so you can dress like shit. You sure can, but what's the point?

I don't really blame hot girls for acting how they act now. I think the cooler hot girls once in their life didn't fit the archetype of hot girl, and they have the experience of the world treating them in two different ways. If I'd been treated like this my whole life I'd be going around giving fat guys advice like 'just be confident bro' lol. cos I'd just think pussy is easy to get if you just flirt back with the girls. Ding ding ding. That's why the cool, "ugly duckling" girl is such a catch. …

I think unless you reach the outer limits for the attractiveness threshold in some trait, you always want more. I'm 6' and wish I were four inches taller; just today I saw a girl about my height at the mall, both turning me on and bumming me out about not being taller. Same goes for pretty much everything. "Oh when I can bench two plate for reps I'll be happy." And then you do it and want 2.5 plate. For now I've just been trying to accept things for what they are, and not stress about what I can…

Choking just for the impression of choking, or ACTUALLY choking? I figure the former would be widely accepted, while the latter...maybe not so much.

Agreed. Last year I met a female transfer student who seemed into me as soon as we met. I was on my way to the gym, she said "I'll see you there" and later looked around the gym until she found me and talked to me. The attraction wasn't mutual, so I was totally platonic the whole time. After a month or two, we were "pals" and, although I had never intended to sleep with her, I couldn't help but wonder why the relationship was so devoid of sexual tension. Until I realized that it was exactly what…

Do you just make stuff up on your own on the fly? I'm totally new to the idea of dirty talk, and what I wrote above is just about all I've got. Should I look into it online beforehand, or try to make it up in the moment, according to the situation at hand?

i tell her to email me a questionnaire, i will answer it honestly and then she'll know me. This is really funny, but has it ever worked? Is that an effective way of passing the "no sex for now" shit test?

I can't find the original post, but a while back I found a screencapped 4chan thread regarding basic bedroom verbal "control" intended to put yourself in a dominant position (and turn on the woman). Basically just dirty talk intended to get each other off. The three key points the poster suggested were: Dominance, e.g., "I'm going to do whatever I want with you," or the comments you made in your post about closing the door, stripping, etc. Possession, e.g., "You're all mine," "This is all for me…

Make him boring I only recently started noticing stuff like this. Last year a girl I know said to me "Ugh, cut you hair...and stop wearing clothes like that!" so I asked, "Why, so I can be just as boring and replaceable as your boyfriend?" It's just another way of making sure the girl is in charge of every part of the relationship.
