I know introverted people with lots of friends, and extroverted people with only a few good friends. I’m sure there is a correlation between extroversion and more friends but its certainly not a rule.

Ha, I know! It’s really worrying that in the age of fake news people can’t detect basic satire and these stories continue to be shared. And even when faced with evidence that it’s a joke the evidence gets hidden in a sea of downvotes because people prefer to believe the manufactured outrage rather than the truth (because it reinforces their world view).

The people who paid money into it were almost exclusively other companies looking to use their donation to promote their brand on a gofundme page which was getting media attention. But if you want to waste your energy being annoyed about this go ahead. There are real things in the world to be annoyed about other than jokes which you disagree with 😜

It doesn’t on the Forbes article because it’s manufactured outrage, but the original gofundme was setup by a comedian not a fan. Do people not have the ability to detect satire when a comedian sets up a $100 million fundraising drive for a billionaire family? God help us.

It’s a serious source on a joke gofundme page. The gofundme was setup by a comedian (Josh Ostrovsky) who isn’t a “rabid kylie fan”. It’s satire. https://www.dazeddigital.com/life-culture/article/40708/1/the-kylie-jenner-gofundme-is-a-terrible-joke-everyone-has-fallen-for

It’s a real article about a joke gofundme campaign.

I used to do that too 😂 The best book I ever read was “How to win friends and influence people” by Dale Carnigie - it’s 100% worth reading and tackles this far better than any Reddit post can (with loads of practical advice). There was a chapter on accepting gifts from people in that book that completely changed my perspective on how people try to build relationships (and I realised I was accidentally denying a lot of people through small acts, like buying my own coffee if they offered to pay, w…

I’ll get downvoted for this, but I think this is legitimately terrible advice for someone who is classified as having a “garbage personality”. Trying to be more socially dominant if you aren’t socially aware and good with people will make you come across even worse. My advice would be more corney and basic - try to have a genuine interest in other people, listen to them properly, and try to learn about them. Spend more of your time finding out about others than talking about yourself, remember s…

It’s probably because there is a giant queue for the ladies - I’ve seen this before when that happens (e.g. concerts)

In the other, countless of regular people in dire need of medication are screwed over. But this isn’t what Martin Shrekil is in jail for. He is in jail for breaking investment rules. Nothing about the basis of his court case was about his price-hiking of daraprim, which is still seen as legal even though it was assholey. But his prison sentence has nothing about the price hike (in theory, although public sentiment may have unfairly played into the sentencing).

Could she have felt threatened? Possibly. If someone takes offence at a McDonald’s server and makes a complaint is that member of staff afforded the same protection?

I agree, it’s a shame you are being heavily downvoted. Unfortunately people do have a tendency to slightly exaggerate when making complaints - and I think that’s what I would call this. It’s then the job of the company receiving the complaint to ensure it is genuine. There is no reason for cops to receive better protection from false complaints than a waitress or shop assistant, but I doubt a court would listen to that case.

Of course she won't go back with you at that point, she is having a fun night out with her friends. You are asking her to: 1) finish her night out, which she is presumably enjoying and not finished with 2) abandon her friends mid-evening 3) go somewhere with the explicit purpose of having sex with someone she just met 4) go back to her (possibly messy) house and let you sleep there Even if she wants 3, she might not want to do 1, 2 and 4. The solution? Wait until the night is almost finished (so…

Can you legally be "not guilty" and "not innocent" at the same time? I always assumed they were synonyms, and that if someone was "legally not innocent" then they would be guilty.
/r/MensRights09/10/16 07:50 AM

Absolutely true. The courts read evidence and came to a conclusion. The public read a tabloid newspaper that was trying to make stories as shocking as possible to increase readership. The editors from the tabloid newspaper are willing to only include evidence from the prosecutors side to paint a clear and compelling narrative - because the public doesn't like stories with ambiguous enemies.

You might not be innocent of the claim of rape - at this point we do not have enough evidence to assume with certainty either way. Because any claim can be made against anyone, this is why reasonable doubt comes into play. If someone is given a not guilty verdict then there was reasonable doubt about whether they did the crime or not. So all this process shows is that the court couldn't establish with certainty that he did the crime - but this should be enough for us to treat the guy in the medi…

To quote the definition of innocent: 1. not guilty of a crime or offence. "the prisoners were later found innocent" synonyms: guiltless, guilt-free, not guilty, blameless, not to blame, in the clear, unimpeachable, irreproachable, above suspicion, beyond criticism, without fault, faultless; They say "not guilty" because it's a synonym, and from a legal perspective it's much clearer.

The article you posted says the opposite - that he wasn't arrested for attaching a gun to a drone. The charges have nothing to do with the drone, but stem from an incident last Sunday and a physical altercation with officers, the Clinton police department said.

Keep your attitude of just going to have a good time - if you have that attitude and are confident then anything that is going to happen will happen. Just make sure that there is an easy way planned to get her back to yours if you are hitting it off (and an excuse for to go back to yours that isn't sex)

THIS. This right here. This is the reason I am unsubscribing from this sub. There is far too much of a "oh we are so alpha and anyone else who thinks differently is a pussy" attitude but the majority of people on this subreddit seem to mindlessly spout the same lines, techniques and pseudo-motivational bullshit with absolutely zero emotional intelligence or social awareness. Does the guy in this video have "balls" - no, not at all. Get a grip, he is nervously going up to girls and making awkward…

This advice is nonsense. You shouldn't "touch a girl whenever you want to, until she says no". You should have the emotional intelligence and social nouse to know when it's appropriate and do it if the other person would be comfortable with it. This advice is just encourages creepy behaviour.

In a club, if there is music playing, it might be a good idea to use a non-verbal opener. I usually just get eye contact, confidently approach, grab a girl by her belt hooks or whatever. I have quite a few routines where I can use very few words, which tend to work better in a club setting. If you want to actually talk, in a club setting when I am talking I usually help girls understand my voice by maintaining eye contact (so they can see my lips), talking slowly and concisely, and using a lot o…

I was one of the only people that had my own room when I was in dorms... It was incredible and got me laid more than expected. Remember, random hook ups are awkward if you know your roommate is asleep, and sock on the doorknob doesn't work if you are coming back home at 3am. Also girls would stay in my room when their roommate had a boyfriend over or they got in an argument with them, it can be a good refuge for them and more often than not ends in sex. My advice is... If you can get your own ro…

Exactly the same story here. Accutane got rid of it for the most part and my confidence completely shot up. Getting rid of acne this way has completely changed my life (as superficial as it sounds). My skin still isn't 100% clear but I just use Benzol Peroxide cream whenever the acne gets worse and that tends to clear it up well. Weird thing is BP cream never worked until after I had gone through the accutane treatment.

Just do it and get it over with. The biggest myth about sex is that the first time will be special. It won't. It will be awkward, messy, embarrassing, brief and a bit disappointing. Get through it and you can have special amazing sex later.

"Well that was fun, LOL." You need to say "LOL" out loud for the full effect, that way she knows you haven't taken any of it seriously. As an additional side-effect she can ridicule you for saying it afterwards to take the edge and awkwardness off.

I might be reading this wrong, but did she text back after you wrote "Meet me outside the (local bar) at 10:15"? Being assertive is good and all, but usually its a good idea to wait for her to say "Yes, I will be there" before actually going to the place.

I think that's a false analogy. The woman has a choice, a victim of bullying does not. A bully is a victim of something they can't control, let's not victimise a girl if she wants to be promiscuous, at the end of the day its her choice.

I think you should try bar's again personally, they are filled with hundred's of single girls, many of whom are there to meet someone. It doesn't just come down to numbers, but you should give yourself enough opportunities. How often do you think you meet a new girl? Also where do you live?

Don't yell "wanna dance" if its too loud, everything you do is going to have to be non-verbal at this point.

Are you approaching girls, or just waiting for girls to come to you? If you are approaching, you can see if a girl is married, you can see if a girl is older, you can see if a girl is actually a gay guy, don't approach them intending to get anywhere! Approach non-married younger non-male people. If you aren't approaching, start approaching. Give yourself way more opportunities. Am I missing something here?

There's this lil cutie up at the Radio Shack that's got my back out of whack. I never really know how to talk to girls when they are working, but she totally rocks and I think waiting outside in my van is kindah stalker like. You talk like a teenager from an 80's movie. The plan to get the girl also sounds like something contrived 20 years ago. My question... are you a time traveler?
