Well, yeah. Are you god?

That's great, thanks so much. I'm going to copy this and save it. I totally think you're right about virtue being the foundation for spiritual practice, that's actually why I asked you in the first place. It's very important but I realised I have a hard time defining it, so this is very interesting to me.

Omg lol. You do not sound like an evolved person in any sense of the word. Think I'll walk away.

The discrepancy I see really coincides with what you're saying about the western stuff being shallow, and I believe with that comes a shallow view of the eastern stuff too. Realising it's all babble is all well and good, and it is a stage of development to be sure, but that's really a psychological aspect and not what I mean by spiritual. By spiritual I mean the study of spirits, and that's where I generally turn to the eastern traditions. It has to do fundamentally with the concept that all is …

If you haven't had experience feeling tingling, pleasurable heat rise up your spine, flood your brain and descend into your organs, then I don't expect you to know what chi is. You can talk about rationality until the cows come home, and I can try to convince you about the reality and potential of your body, but it's just something you need to experience. If you do, and not everyone does in their life, you can learn to harness it, direct it where you will. You can use it to enhance your sexualit…

Yeah exactly, not the Secret. I was disregarding the superficial flippant way people use the word. Do you mind sharing your definition, or maybe some thoughts on virtue?

I live close to my parents and they recently got a dog. She's so great. The most excited person to see me in my life and by far the most affectionate. Love that little guy.

So true about shedding philosophy eh? I read it non step in university and now that I'm meditating and far more interested in spirituality it doesn't interest me nearly as much. Seems to be like a foundation, like you can't be a spiritual person without developing proper ethics, in the same way it's hard to have a framework of a spiritual dimension without understanding your own mind and world first.

If you have a VERY broad definition of religion, yeah, sure. Anything that isn't accepted by the masses I suppose and hasn't been taken on by science yet. I'm looking for something more expansive than Taoism that includes wisdom from other cultures. I've found a lot of Taoist groups already.

To share ideas, insights, knowledge, texts and books, ancient practices and techniques and ones we've developed on our own, as well as general ways to live better. I literally describe all of this in the post. Did not say I want to find people to meditate with. Building a house doesn't require anyone else either, but that doesn't mean you're going to do it right the first time around. What you're saying is like saying "well I have a spirit, therefore I'm good at spirituality." You have a car, bu…

Things like destiny and karma are not even close to what I'm talking about, but I agree that that is generally what these people end up doing. I just want to make it clear exactly what I mean by spiritual pursuits, which is typed in the post.

I had a female therapist. She was less than useless, and very highly reviewed.

I've been thinking about this, moreover I've also been thinking about removing everything violent (movies, 99% of games, TV) from my life. The only game I play is DOTA2, but each game is at least 45 minutes. So you can sit down and play a game, maybe you have a bad game, so you play another. BAM 1.5 hours gone. So what do I get from it? Basically a dopamine rush, if I have a good game. There's not much more going on there. If I get like a triple kill and I'm absolutely devastating the other team…

Nietzsche has a quote that goes something like "in matters concerning women, speak only to men". I read that when I was in university and got chills.

This is sad. It's even sadder that he questions who's in which moral standing here. It's a heartless thing to do to a person.

I had a female therapist who I was attracted to because she used meditation and breathing techniques, and I do this a lot on my own based on ancient Taoist models I've learned. Hers were watered down and lacking in knowledge, but since I knew what I was doing it gave me a tiny little bit of broadened perspective to hear her techniques. It was definitely not worth it. She was HIGHLY recommended and reviewed in my town. Supposedly a very spiritual lady. As for the actual therapy, it was fucking co…

YES. OMG yes. I had a female therapist. We worked at about 5 sessions to get down to what was really bothering me, and when we did she said something like "so that's just what you do, that's you huh?", something to that effect. It was meant to motivate me, but there was just an awkward silence. That was my last session with her. I feel like a man would have been able to phrase it as a challenge, not a condescending mockery. She did next to nothing for me. She is highly praised and reviewed tho.

It's our society, and really our parents and grandparents fault. In twenty years or so our generation will be able to take more responsibility for the way people behave in society... but it is sad how much dating has devolved.

this is getting rarer and rarer for me since the advent of Social Media, which I suspect, fulfills most women's compulsive need for attention, stimulation and novelty. This is really insightful.

As a guy under 30, I concur with what you are saying. The girls of my generation have not inspired or impressed me at all. When I was very, very young I had romantic notions of graceful and virtuous feminine teenagers growing out of the children. I figured all children must grow up eventually. Did not happen. I still remember in grade 4 when everyone got into a tizzy about who's dating who, and I just said "aren't we all a bit young for this?", and everyone just went quiet. I wanted to date too,…

This is true but in a general sense. I suppose I am in that top 20%, but certainly in the lower portion of it. Every so often a woman WILL go for a lower status guy. Sometimes they just want the thrill of seeing their influence on him, or maybe even they are full of compassion that day. When the guy they perceive to be an easy catch, the guy they thought would chomp at the bit to get into their pants is nonchalant and apathetic because he's MGTOW, guaranteed they will notice and it will be a blo…

I would recommend consulting your spirit. You may not agree, but one day we will die, and divide, and live on in a different way, in a different "dimension". You may find it useful to train yourself in ancient knowledge pertaining to spirituality, as well as entering altered states of consciousness. Best to get ahead while the going is good. We may not know what waits on the other side.

Are you serious. This is beautiful. I finally have a song that fits in my life perfectly. And it's good music! Thank you, thank you OP. I have been struggling to find music that resonates with me for over a decade. This is just one song but it means so much.

So far I've read only point one, and this is all of it. All. of. it. Women need that emotional button, unless they are actually having a debate. But women generally don't debate, they berate. EDIT Entire comment is spot on. I might write this down and tape it to my wall to read every time I walk by. This advice could literally save someones life. I'm not even joking.

I always found these grammatically incorrect style of stories amusing. This one went deep and I enjoyed it. I feel for this guy, I had a similar thing with turtles, who also hide in shells and lead a generally solitary life. It's not really in my personality to be solitary, but society has not been very accepting of me and I feel subconsciously that being a man is a dangerous thing to be when it comes to dealing with women. Women and law and mutating into some kind of mechatronic, symbiotic nigh…

This is so fucking feminist. It's classically how they do things. She IS untrustworthy, she's a bloody pathological liar and it is known. But what these people do is take all these random out of context instances of people calling her on her lack of integrity and metallic personality and frame it with a before and after snippet of sexist comments. 95% of that video was not sexist. But a person with feminist ideals, who thinks in the hamster way, will truly see it all as sexist. Every attack will…

Having just discovered MGTOW and TheRedPill about a month ago, the part that I have enjoyed thoroughly the most was awakening to the presence of a feminist, blue pill - for lack of a better word - ENTITY inside of me that made me crumble emotionally by causing me to doubt and resist most of my instincts, and to criticise myself with ideals that I have never harmonized with. I was very, very sick (literally had a virus) when I first delved into RedPill and MGTOW, so I was kind of in a different s…

This is no ordinary anger I'm feeling, THIS IS PASSION! I am literally right with you. I only discovered the red pill one month ago. It was epic for me. I stayed home from work for a week because I had the worst virus I've had in my life. My eyes were totally bloodshot red for days, I was alone in my house with my dogs and survived mostly on frozen cheesecake. All I did was read and watch RedPill and MGTOW, it was the first time I heard about it and it felt like... like... I could cry, it was so…

Lol they were before. Popular opinion is a HUGE deal when you're a feminist and rely on everyone else to survive.

Fairness is determined by the level of emotional outrage. I'm sure the girlfriend was more upset that she didn't know this information than the guy was that she invaded his privacy, so in that world she had the moral right to assert her insane entitlement. It's an economy of feels, and you are clearly some sort of heathen who doesn't understand even the basics of social entitlement economics. It's not about fair exchange, it's about who's willing to make a bigger scene by mustering up the most o…

Well I deleted the first post and put that one up. I meticulously arranged the content ensuring that I was seen as a good guy. The first time around I didn't think it would be necessary to explain I was respecting their relationsip etc. They just assumed I was a bad guy out to destroy their lives. The difference in response is like night and day.

Oh bro I had like -30 by the time I left. Every comment went to at least -3 within less than 5 minutes. I'm happy tho because they are the ones who shut up, I didn't stop asserting myself no matter how tedious and ridiculous it was. It's a very small and fickle accomplishment, but I pride myself on being able to usurp base people. Kinda like ninja tactics, they don't know where you'll hit next so they can't find the emotional trigger button. It was enlightening, at first shocking, but really jus…

It was like this horrible place that's all marshland, and there's just nowhere you can stand intellectually where the terrain isn't shifting and sinking around you. Every time you think you have a hold of something, it turns into something else. Truly this is the wasteland.
