Rip the band aid off and get out. Don’t allow this woman to destroy anymore of your life. Talk to your lawyer about your options and quickly. Divorce.

I can’t possibly see the upside to marriage through the haze of the hell mine is at the moment. I can’t imagine getting married ever again.

Hang in there man. I kept trying to look at social media due to being blind sided by a false order of protection and losing everything I had/couldn’t go home/lost all my “friends and family” etc. But trust me, it’s not worth keeping. Block everyone or shut it down till it’s over. I listed her as divorced from privately so only I could see it and it wiped her off my radar save for a couple things. And whatever you do, DO NOT look at that bullshit memories thing. Talked about fucked up. You got th…

Block her man, cut her out. Don’t let her mess with your head. No sending pics, and no meeting the dog. You won’t fully move on and heal until it’s done. Sorry if that’s harsh to you but ex’s are ex’s for a reason.

I was hoping my STBX would be out by the new year but once she found out about the new law she’s stalled every way she can. She won’t even give the damn papers for the discovery process. I had to do all the legwork since I was kicked out and she just has to fill out a couple lines. Good luck man. Divorce is hell.

I’m sorry you are going through this. Mine is similar with the behavioral health and EPO. Mine used my documented PTSD and the fact I had weapons in the house to kick me out. Hang in there, talk to those around you that you can trust and keep that circle tight. You’ll get through this. It’s going to be probably the worst kind of hell on earth for a while but when it’s done...peace.

Apparently a family member is dying and she’s using it to stall. My house is not hospice. I’m not paying the mortgage for 11 months while you sit pretty. Pressing for medical confirmation of impending death etc. I’m beyond caring and sick of the stalling and petty crap. I haven’t been in my own home in 5 months, a home we were able to have because of my VA loan ( not on a soapbox here I just never made anything about money or who contributed what and now that she has it’s very...eye opening.) an…

Terrence’s entire channel is on repeat. It’s delivered exactly the way I respond too and retain. Thanks for mentioning it.

We are in a holding pattern since she has been using every deadline (example: you must respond or deliver etc in no more than 30 days) to her advantage and right now it cannot move forward until she delivers the next set of documents. It shouldn’t take that long because I did all the damn legwork since I didn’t have access to my home and had to call and visit everywhere. All she has to do is fill out her new bank account info etc. I think she is worried I will see how much of the 20k plus she st…

I’m with you on this. I still think mine is beautiful and after getting her out of debt, buying a brand new home and then fixing her various ailments and then getting her the weight loss surgery she wanted...she screwed me over with a false dv order to kick me out and end the life as I knew it. She might be getting skinny and better looking but under all the makeup and new clothes is saggy skin, a flat chest and no soul. You get the point. She will just make someone else really unhappy and it’s …

Sorry, I missed the age part. I’m 35. The visual image of the band aid made me wince but I laughed. Thanks.

Oh I agree completely. It’s bad enough this is going to go into the near year with the changes in spousal support and her getting it tax free since that would be coming from my disability income. I’m fighting and pushing back, just not sure when it will be over.

Sorry to hear that you are going through this as well but to use your advice, hang in there as well and hopefully things look up soon.

I have things in motion now that will change things. It just took much longer than I thought to be able see her as nothing but an obstacle in my way.

Thanks. That is the part I am looking forward too. You are definitely right about being firm with your lawyer. That’s what hurt me in the beginning. I let him drive because I had no clue how to go about the defense for the order of protection let alone a divorce. I will get there eventually. Thanks again.

Thank you, I will definitely look into the channel as that would be the kind of support that I am most used too. I figured that a lot of this were common feelings, it’s just nice to hear it from other men. I appreciate the help.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
