You need to tell people, they will understand. If the police get involved then you should be kept safe by them. If you say nothing they may do it to someone else. Just make sure they don’t know you’re going to tell the police. If it is true you were in this situation it would probably be best to tell someone (preferably the police first) and let them know you fear for your life. They should take you seriously. Does that make sense? I’m not the best typer.

There are quite a few reasonable comments here, like yours. Some are saying "it’s too late" "leave your house", which is over the top. I think people don’t understand that she’s my sister and I love her, and I wouldn’t just leave her or stop speaking to her. Thanks for your advice
