As a woman who used pads for quite a long while: no no no. You have period blood touching your bits all day long. If it becomes squished due to sitting or whatever, youll just start bleeding through your underwear. If you don't position it properly for night wear (since you're laying down) you'll start bleeding through your underwear. It's not sanitary.

Then you don't know how they work. They don't just become unlodged suddenly and spill blood everywhere, and period blood is much thicker and disgusting compared to normal blood. Periods are gross. Bleeding thick chunks of blood & tissue is gross. Everything can fail / leak and cause blood to get over clothing. Get over it, it's nothing to break up over.

Is african a race? Isn't that like saying someone's race is Canadian? Sure there's native people in Canada, but they've got like, actual names (eg, Aleuts) instead of 'my race is Canadian' And what if she were white, but from Africa. Isn't she then technically african american, which is more correct than assuming a black person is african instead of any other race? (Not saying that's happening here, but that's what usually happens with the term)
