I would add that fucking being an “act of service” is a very unhealthy view of sexual intimacy. It should never be done as an obligation or service within a relationship. Sex is for the enjoyment of both parties involved. Treating it as a service for one person leads to deadbed. Fucking should go under “physical touch” bc it encompasses both sexual and non-sexual touching. Edit: spelling

Yes, I don’t not agree with that assessment. It’s all about communication are being honest about ones needs.

Here’s the thing everyone gets to decided for themselves what each of those five love languages means to them and their relationship. I value quality time. But what I consider quality time isn’t going to be the same as what you would. For me it can be sex once the kids are finally asleep or binge watching Firefly. Sometimes my husband and I even consider quality time just folding our laundry together while the kids are occupied.

That’s a great article about men who are approaching dating with thoughtfulness and the desire to learn more about consent (which society previously put no importance on). It ends with “Knight would agree. “Consent should be defined as equal parts permission and desire,” he says.” Excellent take on how men or rather society is starting to recognize that everyone has their own set of boundaries and desires. It’s important to learn what a potential sexual partners boundaries are instead of assumin…

Well we can only go off of our own experiences. My husband, brothers, and male friends don’t ever worry about being accused or rape or being a creep and they aren’t all “attractive”. The only time I’ve given, the stone cold bitch stare, was to men who were being creeps; meaning not just say hi but blatantly disrespectful. And once to a “conventionally” attractive man who asked for my number randomly while I was grocery shopping with my kids.

Maybe even just stay away from them in general. I honestly think its probably best for all the men that are so concerned with being accused of rape. The ones that have never worried about that should shoot their shot, still.

You are right, you should never drink with a woman.

I doubt it has anything to do with your outward appearance. Any guy who argues for “everything is rape now” is just creepy AF

So you rape depending on their sanity? Sounds like you should just stay away from woman in general.

Agreed, if you rape when you drink with woman.

It’s really not that hard to NOT be a rapist.

I can only speak from my personal experience; I need to fully trust a person to feel long lasting passion for them. Trust is built by interacting and getting to know someone. My Husband and I are even more passionate now after a decade together than we were 5 years ago. It just gets better the more you grow and learn from each other.

To make it clear I get the WHY they are not contesting. But it is not a very good excuse IMO. As a parent I know I would do any and everything to be there for my kids and the same goes for my husband. Neither of us would let doubt or assumptions or even money get in the way. Hell I would get another job or sell everything. I would write letter to law firms and start go fund me. And I absolutely know my husband would as well.

I can see that definitely be a hindrance for some but that opens up a whole other discussion such as pay inequality, social economics and such.

I think it’s unfortunate that men are NOT contesting custody based on assumptions. I think a lot of kids are missing out.

Also the celebrity bit i don’t really know anything about.

What you are saying is based on assumptions not what actually happens.

Lol Sources from academic and legal journals are feelings now? I think you are just too emotional to discuss this further. ✌🏽

My first source HeinOnline is a subscription-based resource containing nearly 3,000 academic and legal journals. But yeah sure FeMInIsM 🙄

I already listed my sources and YOU are the one that said men give up bc they THINK they won’t get custody. Which is in agreement with what I stated.

Alleged or proven doesn’t even work against the father. They are more likely to win custody in those cases. The actual statistics show men are granted custody at a higher rate when contested. So those men who don’t even try bc they THINK they won’t, doesn’t make sense. It’s their own fault for giving up and believing idiots who talk out their ass. I’m still to this day upset my father never even tried to get custody of my younger brother. I spoke with two different lawyers who were very confiden…

Don’t get your panties in a twist, I didn’t do the research so it’s not personal. My sources however prove you are wrong. Besides anecdotal experience is not evidence. If one persons anecdotal experience was fact then I could just go off of my own experience which is fathers who don’t fight for custody.

That’s not even true. Men EASILY win custody battles but the key is only if they actually want custody. The majority do not want the responsibility. What’s even worse is when there is alleged or proven spousal abuse the man is 72% more likely to win custody The woman that have full custody is mostly due to the fact the father didn’t want it. https://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=Child+custody+gender+bias+statistics&hl=en&as_sdt=0&as_vis=1&oi=scholart#d=gs_qabs&u=%23p%3DY-FXAzgCkd0J https://www.wa…

Hun we can’t debate this further bc you don’t even know that bi and pan ARE GAY. There’s no such thing as “fully gay”. If you are attracted to same sex you gay. You don’t become less gay by liking both 😂

Anyway you are not really offering meaningful input or even really an educated opinion on the subject matter. No sources. Misquoting my source. And an outsiders obscure view. So 👋🏽

I was more responding to the fact that you used social media as evidence but never addressed the fact that it isn’t a good representation of reality. Besides we both live in super gay communities but I am actually a part of the LGBTQ community.

Social media is not a representation of reality.

I live in Cali so I don’t really need to look at social media (which is not reality), I experience pride every year in person.

Let me ask another question. Who is more likely to be homophobic? Men or woman? Who is more likely to kill a gay person? Let me give you a hint MEN. So following that realization men are obviously going to be less likely to admit when they are gay. Society thinks it’s hot when woman make out (mostly) and disgusting when men do (mostly). It’s stupid and illogical but that’s how a large majority of men feel.

Bruh this is not MY research nor is that YOUR research. You and I did absolutely nothing to add to this research. You can get your panties in a twist all you want but it’s not personal it’s just research. My source is a reputable source. You didn’t even say who you were quoting.

Not according to pew research; 29% of woman are in the LGBT community vs only 11% of men

It’s hilarious that you think woman can’t just pop of a fuckton of orgasms in a day! My last secession with my husband was at least 4. The difference is the mans abilities and level of trust/safety within the relationship

What makes you think there are more gay men? That’s a new one.

Earnest question 🙋🏽‍♀️ new to the sub. Do purple pill people just not “believe” in other sexual preferences? As in maybe more woman (and men) in 2021 are comfortable being gay openly now?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/21 11:12 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
