Never try rationalizing with the irrational. Who’s less sane the person with confirmed psychological issues or the one who tries to reason with one? It must be nice being constantly exposed so much eye candy that it is expected that all women are hot all the time. The standards are unreasonably high for women that we have to put filters on our selfies and doctor our photos to attract men. If only men put in one iota of the effort we do maybe I would care what they think about us. I blame the media and disney for thinking frogs, ogres, and mediocre men get the hot chick in the end. That's not reality.

Women can’t win. Being financially dependent on men led to subjugation of the woman and family and unhappiness, under a despot . Being financially independent from men leads to freedom but inability to find an equal partner in life and have a family. Can we just create our own Amazonian community already or expand the Mosuo culture. The book Sex at dawn has shown me there are better ways to do this.

this is what you do for little children to build up their self esteem. A HVM would have been offended and mortified at the gesture. Whereas, evidently a LVM is apparently happy to play along with the facade to genuinely have his ego boosted. I bet she will buy her own wedding ring for him to happily put on her finger too. Yep, lived there (Downtown SF) for 13 years and dated lots of techies. They all suffer from peter pan syndrome and other spectrum syndromes. Had a much better time dating bankers in NYC. As they say in the Bay, The ODDS are Good but the GOODs are ODD!
