You make an amazing point here man. I suggest you ask her questions, but be very careful in your tone of voice. When you ask her questions be completely sincere and speak from your heart. I don't know what you should exactly ask her but what I think you could ask are something along these lines: What does ______ mean to you? If you could do ________ differently, what would it be? (She will most likely respond with "I wouldn't do anything differently" and to that I say ask something along the lin…

It's a first date. Why should they value you, a stranger more likely than not, over a fun night out with their friends? If it is the third date and she is showing up hungover then I agree with you that you might want to question if she is relationship material. What's wrong with being judgmental is you shut yourself off from the possibility of seeing things from her perspective...sort of like the saying "you can't fill a cup that is already full." I do think they are applying their standards to …

I disagree with you on it being poor advice. I think that people who are first starting the dating game need certain advice that may seem simple to you. On your note about morning dates: Do you really assume if a person is hungover they are automatically a degenerate; or are you presuming that because they went out the night before your morning date they are inconsiderate? That seems to be a bit judgmental and controlling.

I agree, hardest part is not overthinking what you've learned and letting it come natural.

I think the point of the post was, regardless of your "skills" or personality, the best strategy is to get out and approach. Their will be plenty of times where this doesn't work but over time you will learn your strengths and weaknesses, and overall begin to be more and more comfortable with talking to the opposite sex. No one said it will be easy, but it will be worth it.

That's really interesting. I'm sorry to hear about that man. On a different note though, someone earlier commented and said that putting on 30 lbs of "fat" would be good. I agree with that person, but I will assume that once you do gain weight those symptoms won't be as prevalent. If you are truly interested in gaining weight I suggest downloading myfitnesspal. I would use it as a reference for how many calories you want to hit but also go off of how you feel. Most of the time with gaining weigh…

I'm not questioning your heart problem, but not being able to do a push up should never be as strenuous as mountain biking. Could you go into more detail about how doing push-ups makes you feel bad? Also man, I've seen first hand a skinnier guys pick up girls, it's all about confidence, man. You should take a look at this video, it helped me a lot when I was having struggles. http://www.ted.com/talks/amy_cuddy_your_body_language_shapes_who_you_are?language=en

Extremely well written, my by far favorite part was "What would you attempt to do if you could not fail?" I have heard that so many times and if you ask yourself that the answer becomes simple- you can do everything, if you're ready to work. Overall very impressive post with a lot of solid points!

That is absolutely incredible that you made that decision man! I too just had a similar situation happen to me, and am in the same boat with you. I'm not going to get into that problem because a. no one wants to hear my problem but me, and b. it won't serve me to keep talking about it at the time. I applaud you for coming to this self-realization but I implore you to go deeper. I recently...very recently...tonight recently...got out of a 2 day seminar that was all about breaking through barriers…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
