That's a shame, you shouldn't feel so awkward about your own body. Speaking on a sexual history, as a woman it makes no difference. Not in feeling or in sight. Though I was confused on how to give a hand job to a man who was circumcised since I'm used to foreskin.

Thank you! I appreciate the kindness. If you were to have a child, how would you deal with the circumcision. In America (I'm guessing here) does the mention of a baby getting his genitals mutilated actually come up in discussion? Like say, baptising etc? I'm curious, its not as severe in the UK and there are pretty interesting cultural differences between the UK and America.

Of course, I think you're right. People don't want to feel as though something bad happened to them. All I want is for people to have a say over their own body. Be it circumcision or abortion. They all come from a similar root. Control over ones body, ones autonomy. Do you feel violated now? Or do you just want to advocate that children make their own minds about their sexual organs?

I quite like you, you're right. There is a clear push for equality on women, me and another user are discussing making an infograph about circumcision, I'm an artist, and since no one seems to be discussing it, maybe we can start pushing it out. No one will do anything, if we don't start advocating for the next generation, we can't help this one, but we can do our best to help the next generation that comes along.

Its vary bare, I think we just need to make some infographs. I'm an artist, if you have the facts in bitesize I can make an infograph about it. I don't see why feminism is a movement for inequality. I certainly don't advocate for men to have less rights, I just want women to have more. I don't see the difference between feminism and mens rights apart from the fact that they advocate for other genders.

i think I would be thoroughly angered too, you didn't get a choice. Its your penis, you should be able to decide how it looks, feels etc. No one else. I hope it changes, women have been pushing really hard for tampon tax to sod off, perhaps our next heavy drive should be circumcision. Make a full blown mutilation movement, getting the attention that boys should be able to decide at 16 if they want to be circumcised or not.

I don't want to get married, just engaged. The engagement is the level of commitment I see in marriage, but, instead we don't lose shit loads of money and I don't want to be a precious little wife who needs to be looked after. Though I don't plan on having children. Marriage is outdated, my parents didn't marry either. I didn't realise until know how smart they were.

Thank you! I've seen some quite, aggressive comments and it makes me anxious to post. I don't think any one, man or woman, wants to be blamed for the opposite genders discrimination issues. However, people get angry so they blame the easiest target perhaps. I don't know. Of course, I want equality for everyone. Well, I would like the rich people to be taken down a peg or two. I think I get it, why a lot of women are MRA's and men Feminists, because its about fighting for those you love. If something shitty happens to someone you love, you wish it were upon you, so they would be saved from it. Perhaps that is why. It comes down to money? Thats a real, horrible shame. Money should not be the forefront above someones rights over their autonomy. We would be angry if it were anything else. Thank you for answering, it certainly does seem that people defend their own penis' rather than think about the future children. I'm a woman and this is how I teach my students, boys are competitive and as soon as I changed a class that was just boys, bam, attention.
