It's kind of a dear diary post, I guess.

I almost got robbed. I'm a few weeks in a new city (Saskatoon) and I guess spending time in Winnipeg without incident, a city that's supposed to be dangerous, made me overconfident because I went to get fucking milk, on foot, an hour round trip, at 2 AM through what I have since learned is one of the highest crime neighborhoods/sections of the city here. Three children, thankfully they were children, three 16-17 year old kids walked towards me on a quiet street and started saying things like "yo…

The standard is something like 1g per pound of body weight. I think it's an overrated macronutrient. If you eat say 100 grams of protein per day that's still 700g a week. Considering you're anyone is extremely unlikely to be adding 700g of lean tissue in that time how much do you really need.

One glass of milk has 160 calories and 9 grams of protein. If you add 2 cups (500ml) of milk to each meal you're already ahead 1000 calories and 54g of protein. That should be more than enough to see some growth and it's just liquid so it's quick and easy to get down. I'm gaining weight right now and I drink 4L of it most days. It's dirt cheap for 2500 calories and 144g of protein (6$) and it means all I need to do is get two extra meals in and I'm gucci.

It doesn't take much to maintain that kind of physique, probably around 2500-3000 calories a day.

It's pretty normal to assume you'll rise to the level of your expectations, and it's sagely to realize that you will fall to the level of your experience.

Tinder really has been a game changer for these women. I bet there are women who are in their 60s+, in a decades long monogomy, who wish they'd been born in the current generation. I wonder what their lives were like before tinder or the internet. Would they just be elderly sexless spinsters or would the dating landscape look different enough that they'd actually be married for the rest of their lives at that point?

My experience of creepy has been related much less to boundary troubles and more to deviant, harmful impulses or desires. Wanting to sleep in the same bed as the 9 year old boy you're babysitting alone is creepy. When you can tell a woman wants something bad to happen to you for whatever reason but is hiding it, that's fucking creepy. Personal space violations are not creepy. I was on the subway earlier this year and actually had a young, cute, fit chick start pressing against me very blatantly.…

If there is one truism to women's preferences is that smaller isn't always worse but small is. In that way, being skinny will make you less attractive than having more mass even if it's fat. There was a study way back that showed the relationship between body mass and number of sexual partners was linear in the 15-30 BMI region.

Polyamorous relationships sometimes do involve a social groups alpha male noncommittally fucking multiple women in a kind of soft-harem. It's more rare because those men exist only once per statistically significant social circle and women by existing and having tinder enjoy similar sexual opportunity. It's also one-sided in that he enjoys sexual access without any of the obligations of an exclusive relationship.

I don't think it's conscious and I strongly doubt they would be able to control it, or even want to. I think in that moment they genuinely feel like that. They don't know that they're testing you, and you as a guy, in some ways, have more insight into how their mind is working in those moments than they do. It's an opportunity more than anything. You're reaction makes them feel differently, if you handle it well they change their mind, if you handle it poorly it's cement their initial hesitation…

I think it depends on the stage. In the initial stages comfort and connection are weighted heavily. As the relationship progresses you can start layering in aloofness/lack of neediness/dread but it's about balance. I strongly believe though that you do need to create some sense of anxiety and insecurity. It is what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 07:19 PM

Going to vouch for that too. Handling a sexual turn-down breezily is powerful. And in the same way if you act like you're feelings are hurt and get defensive you'll ruin it.

Gay men are capable of a deep hatred of women, not all, obviously, probably not most or many ... But oof, some. I mean, I'm not saying it's justified by it's understandable. Women's homophobia and their concepts around men and what being a man is can be fucking brutal if you're a gay man. It's not all that rare to meet women who think you're lesser and deserving of victimization and the thrill for them is sexual. It's a worldview where the masculine dominate the effeminate and it's dehumanizing.

/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 05:13 AM

This is more based than I think it might seem. The discussion is missing this premise which is the point of the image isn't to put forward the message written on it but to trigger the fighting around the topic. And if the point is to spark outrage, trigger an emotional reaction and prevent real discourse and forward progress women are far more likely to take the bait. Which is why they are a danger to any free society.

Psychiatry is painful in how blatant and overwhelmingly serious it's problems are. And you're right, they don't care. I was court ordered to take antipsychotics around 15 years ago and ended up continuing them for 7 years after that. I'd see people in my situation come in all the time complaining about debilitating side effects and get no sympathy. People who were borderline begging to have their dosages lowered because they could hardly function. It's apparently not just bipolar patients it's a…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 03:00 PM

Easier to sleep with, yes. Don't make the mistake of thinking a woman with a lot of guys hitting her up is just more attractive in a physical sense. She is more attractive in that once a woman gets a certain body type she begins to attract a certain kind of energy from guys, and that energy is in abundance in the world. They talk to her because they think they can fuck her quickly and easily, maybe that same day. It's the easiness that draws them in and they're rarely investing much beyond sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 09:32 AM

PPD has a problem with people trying to generalize their subjective experiences. What if, for a week, everyone instead just wrote about the experience instead of giving the conclusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 08:53 AM

There are more reddit-only things on reddit than there are true things. It's like an inverted look into the human condition and I'm pretty sure it's because people come online and try to make what they want to be, what is.

Settling isn't always a one-for-one phenomenon. You can be someone who does well in certain things and has certain personal strengths but that doesn't necessarily translate to being more desirable across the board. Being with someone who can compete with you in those areas might not be realistic because gendered expectations mean that men and women see unequal benefits for those strengths. For example, your career might be stellar but if you're older and significantly overweight you won't have m…

Its like I don't like body builder type guys, I really hate that criticizing body builders has become this acceptable, cool thing. Just because someone lifts weights and like the way it makes them look doesn't mean they're fair game for your insensitive, hurtful remarks.

Of course it's proved evolutionary beneficial for some individual woman because they might have scored better jeans and successfully duped a good father. It's certainly not been beneficial according to the individual interests of the men or even the overall benefit of society. This is the foundation of the gender wars right here. Cheating through the years must have led to the dissolution of relationships, child abandonment, infanticide, poorly treated or neglected children, and none of those ar…

If that's true then maybe a lot of comment in this thread aren't fair. 60k on 600,000,000 in relative terms is a guy who makes 100k dropping 10$. You'd think rich people have spent far more on much dumber shit. I've seen restaurant receipts where rich people drop 10k on a bottle of wine, 7k on a steak...

Men eat food and get fat because nature hasn't seen fit to exterminate our gender by doing away with that. Men have better nutrient partitioning (whether calories go towards fat or lean body mass) but testosterone isn't magic.
