2	Why I hate them? What you describe sounds more like you're freaking yourself out. Yes of course they might not be comfortable talking with you at first because a) it's always strange and awkward when you approach a stranger and state your romantic interest in that person and b) you already assume the worst and might just be in prevention mode and are trying desperately to not screw up.
